og:description not displaying on LinkedIn - linkedin

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue regarding the description of our links not displaying on the LinkedIn site, and I've noticed that the og:description tag is not being used. This is also the same for other sites that share their content with LinkedIn .
Does LinkedIn no longer display the description of a site?
Thanks.

Facebook post live preview not showing when shared in Buddypress website

I am working on this community website https://www.doggowuf.com/ build on WordPress with Buddypress and Youzify plugins.
When I share links of other websites it pulls the preview (featured image) of the web page but when I share any Facebook post on the website it does not do the same.
Is it some kind of restriction from Facebook or it is flaw from my end?

LinkedIn's published og:image URL expiring

When sharing an article hosted on LinkedIn, the og:image URL expires after a certain time (I think 24 hours). Is there a direct URL to call in order to get an always up-to-date og:image?
For an internal work resource, I pull og:image to use as featured images for a site built on Wordpress that links out to the LinkedIn URL.
To quote the official documentation, LinkedIn.com: How to clear Linkedin link preview cache?...
After updating your website with perfect preview content and image, if you try sharing your website link you will still see old preview content and image. That's because LinkedIn caches link preview content for 7 days.
So, if you mean the image is expiring in that the cache isn't being updated, then that would be your problem.
You can clear the cache easily: Use the LinkedIn Post Inspector. Inspect your site with the LinkedIn Post Inspector. This causes LinkedIn to refresh your share URL's preview. It also provides useful information on how your site is rendered.
If you want to check, to verify, that it is a caching problem, then try this: share example.com?test=1 instead of example.com on LinkedIn. Since the URL is technically different, there'll be a cache miss, and LinkedIn will have to generate a fresh preview. This will at least confirm if it is a caching problem.

LinkedIn and Open Graph : site not shareable on LinkedIn without reason

I'm trying to make my website shareable on LinkedIn.
URL : https://www.jedecouvremercator.com/
My website is W3C validate. I have followed all the LinkedIn recommendations and Google recommendations. My Open Graph meta is correct and the website is shareable on all other platforms.
But when I'm trying to share it on LinkedIn or when I use a custom link to share it, LinkedIn can't display the meta information.
(I always use garbage into the URL to kill cache before verifying my changes).
Can somebody tell me why?
Thanks a lot.
The site in your URL is down, and you didn't post any code, so that makes this difficult, but not impossible. I can still view your URL through archive.org, and when I try to share the archive.org URL, like this...
https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fweb.archive.org%2Fweb%2F20190618064744%2Fhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.jedecouvremercator.com%2F
When I click the above, everything works perfectly fine for me. Example:

How to show thumbnail of a asp.net website on facebook?

I developed a Asp.net website that play youtube videos on one page. I hosted it in windows Azure recently. But if I took a url of a page which play video and post it on facebook then facebook doesn't show any thumbnail. Can any one help me pls ?
to understand my needs you can post both of the following urls to facebook.
http://hiruvideos.hirufm.lk/index.php?page=videos-watch&id=1705
http://mostamazingvideos.azurewebsites.net/PlayVideos.aspx?uid=1
Second one doesn't show any thumbnail.
You are missing the Facebook Open Graph meta tags that tell Facebook what image to show when somebody shares the link to your website. Follow the best practices at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/best-practices (Section 3 talks about the meta tags).

Add LinkedIn login to Weebly site

Can anybody tell me if it's possible to add the LinkedIn login details to a website I've created using Weebly? I have had a go at this following the LinkedIN API instructions to add code to the header (which I have been able to do) and to the body. Weebly has an option to allow HTML to be embeded into a page so I tried this for the body code but it dodn't seem to work. When I viewed the HTML for the page I can see that the code is added but it doesn't seem to be in a "Body" section - in fact there doesn't appear to be a "body" section.
