No space left on device error on juliabox - julia

recently I do projects with JuliaBox However when I want to save a notebook I get the following error:
"Unexpected error while saving file: <path and name of the notebook> [Errno 28] No space left on device"
The same also happens when I simply open the notebook as soon as the auto-save kicks in.
I would be surprised if I really ran out of space since there's not too much stuff on my JuliaBox,(I did install a few packages and modules though).
1) Is there a way to check how much space I'm actually using?
2) Is anyone having similar issues? and how to solve it.
thanks!

I am getting an error that I do not understand when I try to knit documents on RStudio

I am a relatively new R user. I've been knitting documents in the past using RStudio to create HTML and PDF outputs of my R files.
I have no idea what changed, but approximately 1 month ago I tried to knit a document and got the error portrayed in the picture. I am borderline-competent at R on my best days but otherwise have virtually no knowledge of anything "computer" or "coding" outside of what I've learned from DataCamp regarding R. I have been trying to figure out what happened so that I can continue knitting files, but legitimately do not understand.
I would be more than happy to provide any additional information/context that you need to help me solve this problem but, unfortunately, I just don't know where to start or what's required.
I know this is a bit of a bullshit question and I've tried to avoid asking about it for a while b/c I know I don't know enough to ask it correctly, but I'm at a point where I just want to start knitting again and I'll do whatever it takes to get back to that!
The things I've tried so far are:
Downloading and installing the newest version of R
Downloading and installing RStudio again
Downloading and installing MacTeX again
Trying random solutions from Stack Overflow that involve writing things in my "Terminal" (which I subsequently erase when they don't work).
I am using a MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 for what it's worth.
I've copied and pasted the text of the error message below:
Error in file(filename, "r", encoding = encoding) :
cannot open the connection
Calls: source -> file
In addition: Warning message:
In file(filename, "r", encoding = encoding) :
cannot open file 'renv/activate.R': No such file or directory
Execution halted
I had the same error and didn't want to run my Rmd files from the console, so there is the solution for using the button again (which I found here):
> usethis::edit_r_profile()
* Modify 'C:/Users/User/Documents/.Rprofile'
* Restart R for changes to take effect
The output then shows you the path to your file. Just copy that path to the address bar in your explorer and choose the program you want to open it with. I chose the normal text editor. Delete "source('renv/activate.R.')" from this file, restart R, and everything should work fine again.

R Studio crashing not at initialization. Error: Error occurred during transmission

Some context on my environment:
I am running R Studio in a docker container called rocker/verse.
I downloaded this dataset from Kaggle, which has about 470 MB.
When working with it, at some point RStudio restart. It does't happen after a specific call, and I've seen the same problem when working with other projects. Though it is not related to my code, I am posting it bellow.
library(data.table)
fraud<- fread("path.csv")
fraud1<- sort(sample(nrow(fraud), nrow(fraud)*.7))
train<- fraud[fraud1, ]
test<-fraud[-fraud1, ]
Usually on the console this message is printed:
Error: Error occurred during transmission
And, this pop up is also showed:
I have no idea what is causing it. I would appreciate any help.
Delete the .Rhistory files associated with the installation and any open project.
You have a problem with your user data files for Rstudio. Follow the hints given here: https://community.rstudio.com/t/rstudio-server-error-occurred-during-transmission/84258 and here: https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/218730228-Resetting-a-user-s-state-on-RStudio-Server.

I can't get Atom text editor + leiningen + proto-repl to work (for programming Clojure)

Anything that Atom + proto-repl does involves lein, so I decided to check out lein. 'lein help' works, but attempting 'lein repl' gives the following errors:
gw-mac-pro:~ gr$ lein repl
Could not find artifact proto-repl:proto-repl:jar:1.4.24 in central (https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/)
Could not find artifact proto-repl:proto-repl:jar:1.4.24 in clojars (https://repo.clojars.org/)
This could be due to a typo in :dependencies, file system permissions, or network issues.
If you are behind a proxy, try setting the 'http_proxy' environment variable.
Could not resolve dependencies
I get the same set of messages when I attempt to run code from within Atom.
I've searched for hours for any kind of arcana about Atom, lein, or proto-repl, and I'm amazed that searching on 'lein error could not find artifact' continues to find nothing useful.
I'm surprised that no one has encountered this same problem. I'm running on macOS Mojave (10.14.6). Can you help me? Thanks.

JEdit plugin error while loading Isabelle

I am working with a Windows 10 device and after some work with Isabelle I get the following error:
The following plugin could not be loaded:
C:\Users\PC\Desktop\Isabelle2018\src\Tools\jEdit\dist\jars\Isabelle-jEdit.jar:
Cannot start:
*** [line 1 of "preferences"] error: bad input
I note this problem appears in this version and in a previous Windows 8 version when not switching off properly the machine.
In the Isabelle list I got an answer to this problem:
The error indicates that the $ISABELLE_HOME_USER/etc/preferences file is in a bad state: the file is written each time Isabelle/jEdit shuts down, and switching off the computer in the middle might have corrupted it.
You can try to repair or delete that file. The location of $ISABELLE_HOME_USER on Windows is usually something like C:\Users\my_name.isabelle\Isabelle2018.
I think this problem may be encountered by other people in the community and this answer may save some time to them.

Graphite: graphs not rendering, image cannot be displayed because it contains errors

I am new to graphite. After setting it up, I ran into the issue that no graphs can be viewed (or plotted) but everything else seems fine. If I tried to open the graph directly from its url it says "The image http://.... cannot be displayed because it contains errors".
Below is the output in console when I tried clicked on loadavg_1min and displayed it:
[03/Aug/2015 21:07:06]"GET /render/?width=1041&height=542&_salt=1438661217.502 HTTP/1.1" 200 4
- Broken pipe from ('127.0.0.1', 52538)
There are nothing special about my setup, I use a Mac 10.10 and totally follow the documentation to follow the initialization, everything is default except the CARBONLINK_HASHING_KEYFUNC in local_settings.py, which I set it to "None". And I followed this link to get started: http://graphite.wikidot.com/quickstart-guide.
I will provide more information if that is needed. Thank you in advance!
In my Graphite Browser, the Graphite Composer just shows a broken image.
You can check the error at http://yourGraphiteServer.com/dashboard. It gives you a complete python traceback.
As far as the broken images are concerned, its the cairocffi package that handles the font and the image rendering. The traceback at the above URL should show that the cairocffi package is missing. You should install cairocffi with all the dependencies resolved.
pip install cairocffi will do the job.
This the Github page for cairocffi.
