How and where can I give Alfresco all the drivers it needs? - alfresco

I have an Alfresco installation I'm trying to get to work.
When I run, it displays an error:
Cannot find Alfresco Repository on this server. (Does this application have access to alfresco-global.properties? Does this application have cross-context permissions?)
Alfresco : Cannot find Alfresco Repository on this server has the same error message and was apparently answered by saying "You're trying to use MySQL instead of [the default] Postgres; install the requisite MySQL JDBC driver."
I have a setup that was intended to use Postgres (I'll happily use MySQL instead if someone tells how to do that and it works). $TOMCAT_HOME/lib contains the following, including what looks like one Postgres driver:
annotations-api.jar jasper.jar tomcat-dbcp.jar
catalina-ant.jar jsp-api.jar tomcat-i18n-es.jar
catalina-ha.jar org tomcat-i18n-fr.jar
catalina.jar postgresql-9.4.1211.jre7.jar tomcat-i18n-ja.jar
catalina-tribes.jar servlet-api.jar tomcat-jdbc.jar
ecj-4.4.jar tomcat7-websocket.jar tomcat-util.jar
el-api.jar tomcat-api.jar websocket-api.jar
jasper-el.jar tomcat-coyote.jar
Relatedly, I have:
$ /usr/local/websites/alfresco/java/bin/java -version
java version "1.8.0_111"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_111-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.111-b14, mixed mode)
What can/should I do next?
Thanks,

The $TOMCAT_HOME/lib directory is the proper directory for your database driver JARs.
The other file that is very important is your alfresco-global.properties file. It resides in $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/classes.
If this is a manual install of Alfresco (meaning you set up Tomcat on your own) you may have to set up the /shared classloader which involves updating Tomcat's configuration.
The docs have more info.

Grakn Error; trying to load schema for "phone calls" example

I am trying to run the example grakn migration "phone_calls" (using python and JSON files).
Before reaching there, I need to load the schema, but I am having trouble with getting the schema loaded, as shown here: https://dev.grakn.ai/docs/examples/phone-calls-schema
System:
-Mac OS 10.15
-grakn-core 1.8.3
-python 3.7.3
The grakn server is started. I checked and the 48555 TCP port is open, so I don't think there is any firewall issue. The schema file is in the same folder (phone_calls) as where the json data files is, for the next step. I am using a virtual environment. The error is below:
(project1_env) (base) tiffanytoor1#MacBook-Pro-2 onco % grakn server start
Storage is already running
Grakn Core Server is already running
(project1_env) (base) tiffanytoor1#MacBook-Pro-2 onco % grakn console --keyspace phone_calls --file phone_calls/schema.gql
Unable to create connection to Grakn instance at localhost:48555
Cause: io.grpc.StatusRuntimeException
UNKNOWN: Could not reach any contact point, make sure you've provided valid addresses (showing first 1, use getErrors() for more: Node(endPoint=/127.0.0.1:9042, hostId=null, hashCode=5f59fd46): com.datastax.oss.driver.api.core.connection.ConnectionInitException: [JanusGraph Session|control|connecting...] init query OPTIONS: error writing ). Please check server logs for the stack trace.
I would appreciate any help! Thanks!
Nevermind -- I found the solution, in case any one else runs into a similar problem. The server configuration file needs to be edited: point the data directory to your project data files (here: the phone_calls data files) & change the server IP address to your own.

virsh restore with modified xml "Error: xml modification unsupported"

I'm trying to restore an a Xen VM (domain) from state file which I create previously. At the restore I need to modify the XML of this VM with the following command:
virsh restore domU.state --xml newconfig.xml
This command triggers an error with the following text:
error: Failed to restore domain from domU.state
error: argument unsupported: xml modification unsupported
What I already try:
restore without XML, which works perfectly.
run the command with the original xml the domain was created from
run the command with a totally different file which is not even an XML
At step 2. & 3. the error output was always the same.
Used versions:
xen 4.11.1
libvirt 5.1.0
os fedora 30
As the error message suggests, the ability to pass in custom XML when restoring a guest from a snapshot, is unfortunately not supported by the libvirt Xen (libxl) driver. This feature only works with QEMU/KVM at this time.

ROracle Error in .oci.Driver

I'm trying to use ROracle. My Oracle database version is Oracle Database 12c Release 12.1.0.1.0 - 64bit Production, and I have installed Instant Client and SDK for the version 12.1.0.2.0 (12.1.0.1.0 isn't available on Oracle's site).
I can access the Oracle database through Oracle SQL Developer without any issues. The error message I get in RStudio is:
Error in .oci.Driver(.oci.drv(), interruptible = interruptible, unicode_as_utf8 = unicode_as_utf8, :
In case it's useful, I have installed Instant Client and SDK here:
C:\oreclient_install_dir\instantclient_12_1
I'm running a Windows machine and I followed the instructions on CRAN:
http://cran.us.r-project.org/web/packages/ROracle/INSTALL
Including adding the environment variables.
After some searching (e.g. here) it looks like I need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH and ORACLE_HOME and "OCI_LIB", which I did:
Sys.setenv(LD_LIBRARY_PATH="C:/oreclient_install_dir/instantclient_12_1")
Sys.setenv("ORACLE_HOME" = "C:/oreclient_install_dir/instantclient_12_1")
Sys.setenv("OCI_LIB" = "C:/oreclient_install_dir/instantclient_12_1")
Same error comes up. I'm likely not doing this right, however; I'm not a DBA and don't know all the details.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH is for Linux. Assuming that you already have Rtools installed in C:\Rtools, you can use the following code to install ROracle
Sys.setenv(OCI_LIB64="C:\\oreclient_install_dir\\instantclient_12_1")
Sys.setenv(PATH=paste0(Sys.getenv("PATH"),";C:\\oreclient_install_dir\\instantclient_12_1"))
install.packages("ROracle", type="source", INSTALL_opts="--no-multiarch")
For using the ROracle package, you can use the following:
Sys.setenv(OCI_LIB64="C:\\oreclient_install_dir\\instantclient_12_1")
Sys.setenv(PATH=paste0(Sys.getenv("PATH"),";C:\\oreclient_install_dir\\instantclient_12_1"))
library(ROracle)

NoSuchAlgorithmException when using migration tool

I am trying to use the migration tool utility from within PingFederate but I keep getting the following error:
List adapters... Downloading adapter index from source... ERROR:
Unable to download from source.
java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: E rror constructing
implementation (algorithm: Default, provider: SunJSSE, class:

From the configcopy.log:

1.8.0_144-b01) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.144-b01, mixed mode)
PingFederate: 8.4.2
I am attempting this because we want to automate a deployment process which has currently been manual. I am only trying to use the listadapters.conf template and have set the source.conf to output to a file. The command I am entering is:
configcopy.bat -Dconfigcopy.conf.file=configcopy_templates\\source.conf;configcopy_templates\
\listadapters.conf
and I am running this from the <PF_HOME>/bin directory. The contents of the two files I mentioned are:
source.conf
source.connection.management.service.url =
<my local install url on port 9999>/pf-mgmt-ws/ws/ConnectionMigrationMgr
source.connection.management.service.user = Administrator
source.connection.management.service.password =
OBF:JWE:eyJhbGciOiJkaXIiLCJlbmMiOiJBMTI4Q0JDLUhTMjU2Iiwia2lkIjoibGJhaGtDZlNiSiIsInZlcnNpb24iOiI4LjQuMi4wIn0..ryNLCcpzwEx6KGzXi1FboA.34NbypXUud45R77TLwMvjg.dQFNb9NpbDY_EWIePb9hMA
configcopy.connection.trust.keystore = C:\Program Files\Ping
Identity\pingfederate-8.4.2\pingfederate\server\default\data\pf.jwk
output.file = c:\temp\pf-config.txt
The Administrator is the default one from install with all three roles added to it and the password was obfuscated using obfuscate.bat in the bin directory.
listadapters.conf
cmd=listadapters
debug=true
select.adapter.role = idp
Even though it doesn't look like it above all backslashes are escaped that just hasn't come through here.
I have tried:
removing the path to the keystore altogether
ERROR: Unable to download from source.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException : PKIX path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to
find valid certification path to requested target Done.
Setting the path to cacerts in jre/lib (same error as above)
I have installed the data.zip from the DotNet-Integration-Kit-2-5-2.zip and that is the only set up on this PC. (my dev box)
The integration kit puts two certificates (maybe the same one twice, not sure) that can be viewed through
Server Configuration > Trusted CAs
Server Configuration > SSL Server Certificates
And I have also added one into
Server Configuration > SSL Client Keys & Certificates
The kits certs show as RSA1024 and the one I created shows as RSA2048.
Questions:
Why does the error state algorithm:default (key store format?)
Is there a setting I am missing that would change it from default
Does anyone know of any docs other than the admin manual (almost know
it by heart now)
Why is pf.jwk the wrong format
Any other ideas at all please.
[update] Dam, I have been trying to use the migration utility but as I am on a version over 7.2 I should be using the administrative API. Back to the drawing board. Still looking for advice though!
The pf.jwk file is an encrypted Java web key. The truststore is a standard jks file that you add PingFed's SSL key to, or its signing CA's public key.
However, as you have found, you should use the admin API. Configcopy is no longer being developed.

adding Powershell Modules into Runspace asp.net

Hi can someone point out were i'm going wrong with my code
I receive errors like below upon invoking
The Windows PowerShell snap-in 'Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin' is not installed on this machine.
he term 'MailboxReport' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again
My server has the following modules and PSsnapin's
Path module pstcheck = C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\MailboxPSTCheck
Path module exsession = C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\NewExchangeSession
Get-PSSnapin -Registered
Name : Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.E2010
PSVersion : 1.0
Description : Admin Tasks for the Exchange Server
Name : Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Setup
PSVersion : 1.0
Description : Setup Tasks for the Exchange Server
Name : Microsoft.Exchange.Management.Powershell.Support
PSVersion : 1.0
Description : Support Tasks for the Exchange Server
These problems are usually the result of your program running as a 64-bit process while the snapin is registered only under 32-bit PowerShell (or vice-versa). Try changing the Platform Target of your VB project to x86. If that doesn't fix it, try x64. Ultimately, whichever version of PowerShell has the Exchange snapins registered (x64 or x86) is the platform you want to target.
