I am using reactphp with symfony my react webserver link is http://localserver.reactsymfony:1337/.
none of css and images file serve. for example ( http://localserver.reactsymfony:1337/bundles/calibration/css/bootstrap.min.css ) it gives me 404 not found error.
I am clue less how I get rid of this error.
You need to serve these files yourself with ReactPHP or instead run a separate file server on a different port. You might be able to find some component that does exactly that, but I don't know of any.
By default, ReactPHP doesn't have any concept of a document root. It just has a request event handler and that's it.

When I turn on webpack5 and call internal api(/api/*) from page after first render, the page refreshes and logs Refreshing page data due to server-side change. after refreshing once, it works fine as webpack4.
Expected Behavior
The page should not refresh on api call after first render.
I recently updated to Next JS 12 and suddenly started encountering this issue also. I'm not sure if it's necessarily related to that as I believe Next JS 11 was also using Webpack 5 for HMR, but they certainly switched over to socket communication for hot reloading, rather than server sent events as they had with previous versions. [https://nextjs.org/docs/upgrading#nextjs-hmr-connection-now-uses-a-websocket]
I have a file /inc/paths.js where I am organizing and exporting URI path string variables for different resources in my app. There were a number of paths in that module which were also being utilized by parts of my /api scripts, namely object keys for AWS S3 bucket paths. So, this module was being imported by not only React components in the /pages directory and elsewhere, but also to the modules in the /api directory. By moving all the variables used by the /api modules into their own file and making sure that none of those variables are imported by React components or pages, the error seems to have disappeared for me.
This may be related to this quote from Vercel:
Finally, if you edit a file that's imported by files outside of the
React tree, Fast Refresh will fall back to doing a full reload. You
might have a file which renders a React component but also exports a
value that is imported by a non-React component. For example, maybe
your component also exports a constant, and a non-React utility file
imports it. In that case, consider migrating the constant to a
separate file and importing it into both files. This will re-enable
Fast Refresh to work. Other cases can usually be solved in a similar
way.
https://nextjs.org/docs/basic-features/fast-refresh
Although the logic doesn't quite match up, it leads me to believe there is something occurring along those lines.
I updated next.js due to the console warning I get whenever next.js run, telling me its using using weppack 4 instead of 5
You can still use webpack 4 by changing it from your next config as it's an update issue
On the client page, I changed to call the internal API by useEffect() hook to fetch data, instead of triggering the data-fetch function by onclick. I found the issue was gone.
I have a nice html, css template (source code here).
I am going to use this template in my angular2 app (source code here).
I got the html template out of this repository (index.html).
My problem is in the angular2 source code
You need to clone the angular source.
Run npm install
Run ng serve
Unfortunatly, it seems that the <script src="assets/js/main.js"></script> in index.html is not added properly. Although, there is no error in the console, the left menu is broken. I know that this problem occurs when main.js is not fit.
Here is the correct html page:
Here is the angular page (broken header and menu):
The codes are identical, but I have decomposed the html template into 3 components (header, menu, and app (main content)).
Instead of trying to figure out what happened with your CSS, I took the original template, converted it to Angular 2 with the angular-cli, and fixed the CSS issues. It all works now, and the complete source is at https://github.com/Boyan-Kostadinov/angular2-miminium
When you broke apart index.html it's likely that you also altered some file paths.
The relative path would go from src="assets/js/main.js" to something like src="../assets/js/main.js".
Prepending ../ to the path will back out of the current directory to the next level up. As you have it now, the browser is looking for the assets directory in what I assume you have compartmentalized as an htmlComponents directory.
Consider using the absolute path to main.js, at least to diagnose the issue.
I ran into a similar issue with the same file. In my case, I have a complicated application that is developed in stages. I installed my Angular seed in a subdirectory. Because of my file structure, when I run npm start, the live server that is started has bad relative link locations. For example, in the screen shot below, you will see that the application is trying to find style.css at http://localhost:3000/medface/RecordWriter/styles.css; however, it should be looking at http://localhost:3000/styles.css, because the root of the web server that was created by npm start is at /medface/RecordWriter/.
With respect to your project. The key to finding the problem with your link is to open the developer panel and inspect the actual network request. If you share a screen shot, we may be able to help you inspect your instance with more insight.
What Worked for Me
In my case, I reconfigured my local web server to handle any unserved pages in the Angular2 folder and return the index instead. When I run npm start, I close the browser page that opens and use my regular web server. Instead of viewing my application on localhost:3000, I view my application at localhost/medface/RecordWriter/ (which is equivalent to localhost:80/medface/RecordWriter).
The down side to my makeshift approach is that the page must be refreshed before changes appear, but it loads all resources predictably and reliably, and allows my Angular2 code to run in conjunction with some of the older code base in other areas of the website that have not been converted to Angular2. Regardless, this may work for you also.
I am trying to get my Dart Polymer 1.0 single page app working with pushState. I have set up nginx to route all requests to the dev server which runs when executing pub serve. Nginx also takes care of always requesting index.html instead of the real url.
The problem I am facing is that as soon as I load a url with at least one folder, the js cannot be loaded anymore.
Example
Requesting project.local loads the index.html file and works fine. The same is true for project.local/test. As soon as I try going to project.local/test/something, it stops working because the file index.bootstrap.initialize.dart is requested from project.local/test/index.bootstrap.initialize.dart and not from project.local/index.bootstrap.initialize.dart.
Source code
The whole project can be found at https://github.com/agileaddicts/blitzlicht. The index.html is where the magic happens.
How do I tell the transformer to put absolute urls into the html instead of relative ones?
you should by able to upgrade to the last version of polymer by changing the version of reflectable.
reflectable: >=0.5.0
and perhaps add this in you pubspec
- $dart2js:
$include: '**/*.bootstrap.initialize.dart'
I want to go live with my site.
...but I need help with a security violation I am incurring.
I've seen various threads on this forum regarding a crossdomain.xml file to include and link to, but I don't get it... no matter what I try I still end up with the same result. You'll note below that it is not recommended to use crossdomain hacks.
FWIW, this only happens when I export a release build... I can load the php data w/out an issue in my debug/developing phase locally in Flex.
What gives? When I make a PHP based request for data I always get this error popping up:
Error #2044: Unhandled securityError:.
text=Error #2048: Security sandbox
violation:
http://alubow.com/jml_testing/viewable/alubow_project.swf
cannot load data from
http://www.alubow.com/jml_testing/foldergrab.php?ipath=assets/bitmap/portrait_thumbs/&tpath=assets/bitmap/portrait_imgs/.
at utils.php::DirectoryReader() at
alubow_project/newScroller() at
alubow_project/mainClickOut()
Is there code I need to add to get this to work? Do I need to configure the server I am using?
I will need to go live with this site soon and these errors I am getting both locally and serverside (via a browser) are unacceptable.
COULD THIS BE A PROBLEM WITH THE FLASH PLAYER I HAVE INSTALLED?
I have the debugger version of flash player 10.
jml
The problem is with the www prefix. I guess you are trying to load a page with out the www subdomain and the URL you are looking for does have that prefix.
Now, what you need to do is one of the following:
change the request url
add both www.yourdomain.com And yourdomain.com to the crossdomain.xml
call the url dymanicaly. this is the best solution but needs some more work. you can get it done using ExternalInterface and connection to JS here. OR you can use the BrowserManager.
Enjoy!
It may be because your app is requesting from www.alubow.com when hosted from alubow.com, which triggers a request for http://www.alubow.com/crossdomain.xml, which doesn't exist. You could refer to your app as www.alubow.com/jml_testing/viewable/alubow_project.swf and avoid the error.
Alternately, you could add a crossdomain.xml file to www.alubow.com.
I know this is weird but for local files loaded through the flash player you probably just need to hit this page. Look near the top right for something that looks like an example image. It's actually a Flex application. Click successive tabs until you read the Global Security Settings panel (currently 3rd from the left, with an image of a globe and padlock). Select the "Edit locations" menu, and choose "Add location". You can then add your swf or your folder of swf's into the whitelist and they'll be able to access outside resources magically.
I have an HttpModule that displays images that follow a certain URL pattern. For example, /images/employees/jason.jpg is handled by the module, but all other images aren't. It works just fine on my local machine (Cassini and IIS 7). However, the IIS6 production server isn't working. I've had the hosting company map the images to the ASP.NET worker process. Now, all images are showing that they can't render except for the images that should be rendered by the module. They are working correct.
I ran an HttpWatch instance on one of the files and received the following error:
ERROR_HTTP_INVALID_SERVER_RESPONSE
Any ideas?
Final Answer:
The module needed to be updated to transmit server files. So, I added an else to my original if and checked to see if it was an image type (by using a utility method) then use Response.TransmitFile() to pass on the file to the browser.
I then ran into a spacing issue with the images. This was because I forgot that I had .aspx files registered as an image type to perform the testing. So each page would crash during the debug process or add padding that was established from CSS. Doh!
Everything is just peachy now. Thanks to all!
There's doesn't seem to be anything particularly wrong with your module, so the issue must be coming from somewhere else. Have you got security that might be blocking the images? What actually gets returned when you request a static file?
I'd suggest seeing what gets returned (and its headers) using something like firebug to check things like the response code, content type, the actual raw response, etc...
check your web.config IIS6 / IIS7 have different places to add modules and depends on what mode your IIS7 is running in.
