I migrated one of my sites to WordPress from blogger but all of the post images are not showing up in WordPress site. I checked the uploads folder which has all post images and all folders have 755 permissions. But not showing images. I also Tried import external images plugin and cache images plugin.
How to fix it?
Thanks in advance
Update:
Completely reinstalled Wordress and imported using Blogger Importer Extended plugin and now i am able to see all images, posts and pages. Problem solved.

I need to migrate an old website's posts written in php (860 posts in total) to Wordpress. The Wp All Import plugin succesfully resolved my problem, but I have a /images folder with aproximatly 1000 images that are linked to posts. Almost all images are stored in images/uploads/vegyes-kepek
Is there a way to load automatically?
I successfully migrated from Blogger to wordpress by using blogger importer plugin
my new site where i upload my database has new domain name
Problem is.. Some of the feature images are showing but rest of all
is not showing..
It may happen that Blogger Importer Plugin skipped importing those images.
To fix this problem you can use Cache Images by Matt Mullenweg.
Install this plugin and Go to Tools > Cache Remote Images.
Click Scan.
Now you should see a list of images that are hot-linked from different servers.
Hit the Cache from this domain button and Cache Images plugin will start importing images from those hot-linked domains.
I added the wordpress plugin for w3 total cache as i was wanting to optimise my wordpress page.
I followed the required steps, and added the content as told by the plugin into wp-config.php and .htaccess file. So everything was fine. Page loading speed did decrease. But when i was making a new blog post. and when i uploaded a photo from my local system onto the post.
The results are so:
on upload to wordpress:
So now what i did was , uninstall the plugin from the wordpress dashboard. But still no change.
And then i deleted off all the files that the plugin asked me to make.
Still no change.
What can be the reason for this to occur? Has anyone come across this issue before?
The issue was with php settings for apache. We reinstalled php and php related libraries we were using and it was resolved.
I'm not a WordPress expert here but I got a account and a preminum version with a template but I want to download the entire directory so I can modify php files, styles etc.
How do I do this and also how do I upload it to the wordpress site itself since it's live.
Thanks
Unfortunately, you cannot do that on wordpress.com site.
But you can edit some files from within your wordpress admin panel editor.
I have a wordpress website with a Prestashop (/shop) installed in the wp root folder.
Linking between the 2 sites works fine.
But, after i moved my prestashop folder from my old website into the new wordpress site, a lot of my styling and images has been destroyed..
The Prestashop itself works fine, and also the images included from Prestashop backoffice are working.
For what i can see, my custom css for prestashop styling is gone and also my images in /img.
My question is, maybe i can turn this around and optimize my site, by adding the styling and images from my wp theme sheets and img folder - since the structure of the site, should be the same anyways..
- Can anyone give me some guidance on how to do this?
I installed Prestashop few time ago in a folder of my website.
For my website I used Wordpress, too.
For me Prestashop Forums was really good for guidance. You can ask there for help.
