I started a brand new project. There is no data yet.
But i'm not able to insert anything because this default: project-name= null record is missing. You can see in this video:
I'm not sure what to do:
I tried to set data using JavaScript SDK but the default permissions for read and write require authentication. SO i need to change the rules. But i can't access the rules either.
Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks:)
This is the browser's problem.
You can try to clear your browser's cache or disable browser's extensions/plugins that have access to modify all the data on the websites you visit.
Hope this helps :)

I have a running Kentico 11 portal engine site and need to update the transformations in my navigation menu control. Something I have done many times before.
Today I went through all of the steps and the save button does not update the code. It never displays the change were saved messaging.
When I open the browser dev tools I see several errors on the page:
errors
A couple of things to check.
Is this happening in different browsers, also?
Can you save other transformations?
On this particular web part, if you select a different transformation, will that save successfully?
And, is the event log registering any errors?
Sounds like it may be a caching issue. What I'd suggest is the following:
restarting IIS
Open a private browser window and log in
attempt to make an edit to the code in question
If this does not resolve the issue, have you made any changes recently to the web.config, in particular the CMSHashstringsalt value? If so, this will cause your macros to become invalidated. You'll need to go to System > Macros > Signatures and check both boxes and resign the macros. It may take some time depending on your site but this could also help resolve your issue.
My PingFed has a connection to a SSO page. That page doesn't have the verbiage I want even though I changed and replaced the properties files. How can I rebuild so that it works?
I agree with Andrew K's comment above, but my guess here is that your updated messages are not being used because you either need to restart PingFederate or disable caching of the message properties files.
For more details, see the tip at the bottom of this page (cache-language-pack-messages setting in <pf_install>/pingfederate/server/default/data/config-store/locale-options.xml): https://docs.pingidentity.com/bundle/pingfederate-101/page/ujv1564002982909.html
I was working in a client application with alfresco and in need to capture the changes in docs from user's alfresco account. From further reading I came to know that I need to set some properties in alfresco-global.properties file to enable change log audit. So is there anyway I can do this using an API without requesting user to do this ? Please help
I'm not sure something like that is possible, other then using JMX. I'd be happy is someone would prove me wrong, though.
http://docs.alfresco.com/5.1/concepts/jmx-intro-config.html
For Community there is no direct way to do this other than using addon's or writing your own custom code.
There are some ways you can use when using the JavaScript Api of Alfresco.
There is an Open Source module here using JMX and a paid one here using a custom Share page.
Meteor beginner, tearing my hair out about this one...
I have a meteor web app (a little game) where I would like to disable everything client-side while I manually update the database and run some checks. So, for a very short space of time, I just need to disable anything coming from my users and render a template that says "Game scores are being updated, come back later etc. etc."
My first thought was just to have this template based on something like Session.set("serverUpdating", true) but then that's something that could just be reset by anyone in their browser, right?
What is the best way to achieve what I want, securely? Any guidance much appreciated!
One way would be to create an admin collection that contains this state information. Publish it to all clients and have your master layout or router use it to switch to a maintenance page when it's set. Make sure you have deny rules setup to avoid any clients modifying it. Then when you want to go into maintenance just use the mongo console to update that collection and revert when you're done.
I having a problem using vTiger.
Actually i had no problems but we had to format one of our servers and as the SQL has been backup'ed i had no worries about vTiger.
Just got vTiger folder backup'ed too, but when i had my server back and put the folder of vTiger into www and restored the database i had a few errors, mostly resolved by re-configuring config.inc.php because paths had changes. But after all the configuration is done again i can't login to my vTiger. He reachs the database but does not recognize any of the users. I alway get username or password is wrong. Have anyone experienced this? Is there any possible solution?
Had a similar problem a few days ago, it turns out my cookies were corrupt (Firefox). I cleared all related cookies, problem solved. Try first using some other browser to confirm. hth.
First I would check if the db is reached and populated with your data. Try connecting from the command line.
If you are working on Windows and have changed Vtiger's path, and you are using the bundled version, MySql path changes as well, but the Windows service can still be alive on the old path: in this case you must manually cancel the service and afterwards use the "Start Vtiger" button in order to create the new service.
Second, I would turn on the php debugging as explained here. In most cases, these steps should help you.
Have you checked user_privileges folder? in that you must have 2 files for particular user. eg. your user admin having id 1 in database then you must have user_privileges/sharing_privileges_1.php and user_privileges/user_privileges_1.php file
and open user_privileges_1.php file and check username/password in that file, if it's not same with your DB then change it manually.
Try this solution and let me know if it works.
