Combobox popup is opened transparent - qt

I have a Combobox (Control 2.0). I write my own combobox like
Rectangle
{
border.width: 1
border.color: "lightsteelblue"
height:dp(40)
width: parent.width
ComboBox {
id:tmCombo
model:combotm.datalist
textRole: "value"
anchors.fill: parent
currentIndex:-1;
contentItem: Text {
leftPadding: 0
rightPadding: tmCombo.indicator.width + tmCombo.spacing
text:tmCombo.currentIndex==-1 ? "":tmCombo.model[tmCombo.currentIndex].value
font: tmCombo.font
horizontalAlignment: Text.AlignLeft
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
elide: Text.ElideRight
}
onCurrentIndexChanged: {
if(currentIndex!=-1) {
var sqlid=model[currentIndex].sqlid;
combotm.getsqlid(sqlid,1,Query.SelectSubParam,Query.Subq,"TMC",1);
TaskResult.taskresult.HatBilgisi_TM=sqlid;
tmsCombo.enabled=true;
}
else {
tmsCombo.enabled=false;
}
tmsCombo.currentIndex=-1;
}
}
}
My problem is that when Combobox first open, half of popup is transparent. Then I close and open combobox again. Everthing is OK. I am working in android platform.
SOLUTION:
I have added import QtQuick.Templates 2.0 as T and chance Popup with T.Popup . That's work

Rigth code is : Combobox with filter input :) I have binded model from C++ side with Q_Property . dp function is my global function in main.qml which is fixed pixel for any device.
ComboBox {
id:trCombo
model:combotr.datalist
textRole: "value"
anchors.fill: parent
currentIndex:-1;
contentItem: Text {
leftPadding: 0
rightPadding: trCombo.indicator.width + trCombo.spacing
text:trCombo.currentIndex==-1 ? "":trCombo.model[trCombo.currentIndex].value
font: trCombo.font
horizontalAlignment: Text.AlignLeft
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
elide: Text.ElideRight
}
popup: T.Popup {
id:mpopup
y: trCombo.height - (trCombo.visualFocus ? 0 : 1)
width: trCombo.width
implicitHeight: listview.contentHeight
topMargin: 6
bottomMargin: 6
// focus: true
closePolicy: Popup.NoAutoClose
contentItem: Item {
Column
{
anchors.fill: parent
spacing: 5
TextField
{
placeholderText: "arama yapın"
width: trCombo.width
height: dp(35)
// color: "red"
focus:true
inputMethodHints: Qt.ImhNoPredictiveText;
onTextChanged:{
//console.log("degisiyor");
process.filtertr(text);
}
onAccepted:{
// console.log("Tasarım Bitti");
isfinished(true);
// text="";
}
}
ListView {
id: listview
clip: true
model: trCombo.popup.visible ? trCombo.delegateModel : null
currentIndex: trCombo.highlightedIndex
width: trCombo.width
height:dp(500)
Rectangle {
z: 10
parent: listview
width: listview.width
height: listview.height
color: "transparent"
border.color: "#bdbebf"
layer.smooth: true
}
ScrollIndicator.vertical: ScrollIndicator { }
}
}
}
background: Rectangle { }
onClosed: {
if(!flag)
{
mpopup.open();
}
else
flag=false;
}
}
delegate: ItemDelegate {
width: trCombo.width
text: trCombo.textRole ? (Array.isArray(trCombo.model) ? modelData[trCombo.textRole] : model[trCombo.textRole]) : modelData
font.weight: trCombo.currentIndex === index ? Font.DemiBold : Font.Normal
highlighted: trCombo.highlightedIndex == index
onClicked: {
isfinished(true);
}
}
onCurrentIndexChanged: {

Change color of text in ComboBox in QML

How can I change the color of the text inside the ComboBox, please help.
I tried the following but it says "Invalid property name 'style' " and I get the error "ComboBoxStyle is not a type".
ComboBox {
id:combobox_rectangle_ha_tipi_deger
width: parent.width/1.8
height: parent.height/1.3
Material.background: row_even
anchors.centerIn: parent
model: ["değer1", "değer2", "değer3"]
style:ComboBoxStyle{
textColor:"red"
}
}
#Moia's answer is right in that you usually need to provide your own implementation, but in some cases there are easier, less intrusive ways to customise stuff. For example, the Material style has attached style properties that can be set:
ComboBox {
model: 10
popup.Material.foreground: "red"
Material.accent: "green"
Material.foreground: "blue"
}
I set each property to a different colour so you can see which items are affected.
You're referring to an option of Qt Controls 1 which are deprecated and you sould use that and most likely you're correctly using the Qt Controls 2
Controls are "rich" component but they are just a composition of Item, Rectangles and whatever. Controls expose an ItemDelegate to customize their layout.
When you want to customize a default Control (instead of building one from scratch) you should refer to this page of the documentation:
https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtquickcontrols2-customize.html#customizing-combobox
import QtQuick
import QtQuick.Controls
ComboBox {
id: control
model: ["First", "Second", "Third"]
delegate: ItemDelegate {
width: control.width
contentItem: Text {
text: modelData
color: "#21be2b"
font: control.font
elide: Text.ElideRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
}
highlighted: control.highlightedIndex === index
required property int index
required property var modelData
}
indicator: Canvas {
id: canvas
x: control.width - width - control.rightPadding
y: control.topPadding + (control.availableHeight - height) / 2
width: 12
height: 8
contextType: "2d"
Connections {
target: control
function onPressedChanged() { canvas.requestPaint(); }
}
onPaint: {
context.reset();
context.moveTo(0, 0);
context.lineTo(width, 0);
context.lineTo(width / 2, height);
context.closePath();
context.fillStyle = control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b";
context.fill();
}
}
contentItem: Text {
leftPadding: 0
rightPadding: control.indicator.width + control.spacing
text: control.displayText
font: control.font
color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
elide: Text.ElideRight
}
background: Rectangle {
implicitWidth: 120
implicitHeight: 40
border.color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
border.width: control.visualFocus ? 2 : 1
radius: 2
}
popup: Popup {
y: control.height - 1
width: control.width
implicitHeight: contentItem.implicitHeight
padding: 1
contentItem: ListView {
clip: true
implicitHeight: contentHeight
model: control.popup.visible ? control.delegateModel : null
currentIndex: control.highlightedIndex
ScrollIndicator.vertical: ScrollIndicator { }
}
background: Rectangle {
border.color: "#21be2b"
radius: 2
}
}
}
Since you just want to customize the text color, defining the delegate property should be enough:
ComboBox {
id: control
delegate: ItemDelegate {
width: control.width
contentItem: Text {
text: modelData
color: "red"
font: control.font
elide: Text.ElideRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
}
highlighted: control.highlightedIndex === index
required property int index
required property var modelData
}
}
if you want to change ComboBox text color to change with a property binding, you could expose the property accordingly:
ComboBox {
id: control
property var textColor: "red"
delegate: ItemDelegate {
width: control.width
contentItem: Text {
text: modelData
color: control.textColor
font: control.font
elide: Text.ElideRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
}
highlighted: control.highlightedIndex === index
required property int index
required property var modelData
}
}

how to change Listview background color inside Popup contentItem in QML

I'm using the example from QML website on how to customize ComboBox as seen below:
#Combo.qml
import QtQuick 2.12
import QtQuick.Controls 2.12
ComboBox {
id: control
model: ["First", "Second", "Third"]
delegate: ItemDelegate {
width: control.width
contentItem: Text {
text: modelData
color: "#21be2b"
font: control.font
elide: Text.ElideRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
}
highlighted: control.highlightedIndex === index
}
indicator: Canvas {
id: canvas
x: control.width - width - control.rightPadding
y: control.topPadding + (control.availableHeight - height) / 2
width: 12
height: 8
contextType: "2d"
Connections {
target: control
function onPressedChanged() { canvas.requestPaint(); }
}
onPaint: {
context.reset();
context.moveTo(0, 0);
context.lineTo(width, 0);
context.lineTo(width / 2, height);
context.closePath();
context.fillStyle = control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b";
context.fill();
}
}
contentItem: Text {
leftPadding: 0
rightPadding: control.indicator.width + control.spacing
text: control.displayText
font: control.font
color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
elide: Text.ElideRight
}
background: Rectangle {
implicitWidth: 120
implicitHeight: 40
border.color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
border.width: control.visualFocus ? 2 : 1
radius: 2
}
popup: Popup {
y: control.height - 1
width: control.width
implicitHeight: contentItem.implicitHeight
padding: 1
contentItem: ListView {
clip: true
implicitHeight: contentHeight
model: control.popup.visible ? control.delegateModel : null
currentIndex: control.highlightedIndex
// ADDED SECTION TO CHANGE BACKGROUND OF LISTVIEW
delegate: Rectangle {
color: "#080808"
Text {
anchors.fill: parent
text: modelData
}
}
///////////////////////////////////////////////////
ScrollIndicator.vertical: ScrollIndicator { }
}
background: Rectangle {
color: "#080808"
radius: 2
}
}
}
#main.qml
import QtQuick 2.15
import QtQuick.Window 2.15
Window {
width: 640
height: 480
visible: true
title: qsTr("Hello World")
Combo {
width: 200
height: 40
anchors.centerIn: parent
}
}
I added some new code to Combo.qml as seen above to turn the background of the ListView items to a darker color to match the background color of the Popup itself, but nothing is changing. The ListView background color for the items is always white. I'd appreciate some help on figuring this out. Thanks
There are two issues going on. First, the delegate: on the ComboBox apparently takes precedence over the delegate: on the ListView. Second, the ItemDelegate has some pretty specific highlighting behavior so you need to override it's background and the coloring behavior of it like this:
import QtQuick 2.12
import QtQuick.Controls 2.12
ComboBox {
id: control
model: ["First", "Second", "Third"]
delegate: ItemDelegate {
id: itemDelegate
width: control.width
background: Rectangle {
visible: itemDelegate.down || itemDelegate.highlighted || itemDelegate.visualFocus
color: itemDelegate.highlighted ? "#808080" : "#080808"
implicitWidth: 100
implicitHeight: 40
}
contentItem: Text {
text: modelData
color: "#21be2b"
font: control.font
elide: Text.ElideRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
}
highlighted: control.highlightedIndex === index
}
indicator: Canvas {
id: canvas
x: control.width - width - control.rightPadding
y: control.topPadding + (control.availableHeight - height) / 2
width: 12
height: 8
contextType: "2d"
Connections {
target: control
function onPressedChanged() { canvas.requestPaint(); }
}
onPaint: {
context.reset();
context.moveTo(0, 0);
context.lineTo(width, 0);
context.lineTo(width / 2, height);
context.closePath();
context.fillStyle = control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b";
context.fill();
}
}
contentItem: Text {
leftPadding: 0
rightPadding: control.indicator.width + control.spacing
text: control.displayText
font: control.font
color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
elide: Text.ElideRight
}
background: Rectangle {
implicitWidth: 120
implicitHeight: 40
border.color: control.pressed ? "#17a81a" : "#21be2b"
border.width: control.visualFocus ? 2 : 1
radius: 2
}
popup: Popup {
y: control.height - 1
width: control.width
implicitHeight: contentItem.implicitHeight
padding: 1
contentItem: ListView {
clip: true
implicitHeight: contentHeight
model: control.popup.visible ? control.delegateModel : null
currentIndex: control.highlightedIndex
// ADDED SECTION TO CHANGE BACKGROUND OF LISTVIEW
// delegate: Rectangle {
// width: parent.width

How to have the components comunicate between them in an accordion like Component? [duplicate]

I'm trying to create accordion qml control like this.
First I thought that I can use combobox and customize it but now I think it is impossible.
Is there any standerd control that I can use? If not can you help me with controls structure?
Just playing with QML
PanelItem.qml
import QtQuick 2.7
import QtQuick.Layouts 1.2
Item {
default property var contentItem: null
property string title: "panel"
id: root
Layout.fillWidth: true
height: 30
Layout.fillHeight: current
property bool current: false
ColumnLayout {
anchors.fill: parent
spacing: 0
Rectangle {
id: bar
Layout.fillWidth: true
height: 30
color: root.current ? "#81BEF7" : "#CEECF5"
Text {
anchors.fill: parent
anchors.margins: 10
horizontalAlignment: Text.AlignLeft
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
text: root.title
}
Text {
anchors{
right: parent.right
top: parent.top
bottom: parent.bottom
margins: 10
}
horizontalAlignment: Text.AlignRight
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
text: "^"
rotation: root.current ? "180" : 0
}
MouseArea {
anchors.fill: parent
cursorShape: Qt.PointingHandCursor
onClicked: {
root.current = !root.current;
if(root.parent.currentItem !== null)
root.parent.currentItem.current = false;
root.parent.currentItem = root;
}
}
}
Rectangle {
id: container
Layout.fillWidth: true
anchors.top: bar.bottom
implicitHeight: root.height - bar.height
clip: true
Behavior on implicitHeight {
PropertyAnimation { duration: 100 }
}
}
Component.onCompleted: {
if(root.contentItem !== null)
root.contentItem.parent = container;
}
}
}
usage:
import QtQuick 2.7
import QtQuick.Layouts 1.2
import QtQuick.Window 2.0
Window {
visible: true
width: 400
height: 400
ColumnLayout {
anchors.fill: parent
spacing: 1
property var currentItem: null
PanelItem {
title: "Panel 1"
Rectangle {
color: "orange"
anchors.fill: parent
}
}
PanelItem {
title: "Panel 2"
Rectangle {
color: "lightgreen"
anchors.fill: parent
}
}
PanelItem {
title: "Panel 3"
Rectangle {
color: "lightblue"
anchors.fill: parent
}
}
PanelItem {
title: "Panel 4"
Rectangle {
color: "yellow"
anchors.fill: parent
}
}
Item {
Layout.fillWidth: true
Layout.fillHeight: true
}
}
}
What about using this open source component which I did here
Accordion component and used here Accordion component example.
You only need to initialize:
Components.Accordion {
id: acordion
anchors.fill: parent
anchors.margins: 10
}
And create the data dynamically like this:
propertyAcordion.model = [
{
'menuTitle': value,
'children': [
{
'menuTitle': value,
'children': [
...
Updating the MouseArea click part as below with some added condition. Thanks to folibis for this qml accordian menu.
MouseArea {
anchors.fill: parent
cursorShape: Qt.PointingHandCursor
onClicked: {
root.current = !root.current;
if(root.parent.currentItem !== null) {
if(root.parent.currentItem !== root)
root.parent.currentItem.current = false;
}
root.parent.currentItem = root;
}
}

plus button under listview

I can create "+" (plus) button under all listview items.
This button will add a new item.
I can place it under all exsisting items. But ideály as a part as list.Because of scrolling, scrollbars and other standard listview functions. If listview will be not fill all available page size, scrolls will be ended in the middle of the screan etc...
I tested counting onpaint signal or something like this, but have no success. Because signal for one row goint more than one times, counting is mismatched and button is one time in seccond row, one time below third, sometimes is missing etc...

You can just use ListView's footer property. The default footerPositioning is what you want.

How to disable drag&drop for first Item of a ListView in QML

I have a QML project where I am able to drag & drop rectangles that are in a ListView.
I want to disable the drag&drop feature for the first Item (rectangle) of the ListView.
Here is an example:
Rectangle {
visible: true
width: 1000; height: 1000
ListView {
id: root
width: parent.width; height: parent.height
model: DelegateModel {
id: visualModel
model: myModel
model: ListModel {
id: colorModel
ListElement { someData }
...
}
delegate: MouseArea {
property int visualIndex: DelegateModel.itemsIndex
id: delegateRoot
cursorShape: Qt.PointingHandCursor
width: root.width; height: 100
drag.target: icon
drag.axis: Drag.YAxis
drag.minimumY: 0
property bool current: false
Rectangle {
blablaData
//Something like : if firstItem, disable drag&drop
}
onClicked: {
delegateRoot.current = !delegateRoot.current;
if(current) {
delegateRoot.height = 300
}
else {
delegateRoot.height = 100
}
}
Rectangle {
id: container
anchors.top: icon.bottom
width: root.width-5
height: delegateRoot.height - icon.height
clip: true
border.color: "#81BEF7"
Behavior on implicitHeight {
PropertyAnimation { duration: 100 }
}
Text {
anchors.fill: parent
anchors.margins: 10
horizontalAlignment: Text.AlignLeft
verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter
text: size
}
}
DropArea {
anchors { fill: parent; margins: 15 }
onEntered: {
visualModel.items.move(drag.source.visualIndex, delegateRoot.visualIndex)
}
}
}
}
}
}
Do you have any idea of how to do it ?
Thanks a lot !
EDIT: Added some features to my example
In the delegate root item, try:
enabled: index ? true : false
I found an easy way to do it, and you can use it for the item you want (not only the first one).
I need to change drag.target and drag.axis in delegateRoot by using and setting a boolean like isDraggable to true or false on each item and then use it like this:
drag.target: isDraggable ? content : undefined
drag.axis: isDraggable ? Drag.YAxis : Drag.None
