I have a TP5 english image and installed the german language with the language pack image over lpksetup. Now I wanted to switch to german and changed every language setting but still the names and descriptions from features and roles in ServerManager are still in english.
After this I installed an german image to verify if the features and roles are always in english but they were in german.
So I hope someone has an idea.
Thanks in advance
Okay I did not get it working with TP5 but with the Evaluation version I did the following:
I added the language over the GUI and downloaded the language pack over the "Options" button.
Then i executed the following CMDlets:
Set-WinUserLanguageList de-DE -Force
Set-Culture de-DE
Set-WinHomeLocation -GeoId 94
Set-WinsystemLocale de-DE
After this I see that the system downloads the "german handwritings" and then I set settings with intl.cpl
control.exe intl.cpl,,/f:"C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\mui.xml"
The content of mui.xml is the following:
<gs:GlobalizationServices xmlns:gs="urn:longhornGlobalizationUnattend">
<!-- User List -->
<gs:UserList>
<gs:User UserID="Current" CopySettingsToSystemAcct="true"
CopySettingsToDefaultUserAcct="true"/>
</gs:UserList>
</gs:GlobalizationServices>
After this I reboot the system and everything is fine.
Best regards

I developed an app in german (de-DE) and in order to translate the captions, I added the TranslationFile feature in my app.json.
This generates a translation file, where the source-language is "en-US":
<file datatype="xml" source-language="en-US" target-language="en-US" original="RandomApp">
Not thinking much about it, I changed the source-language to "de-DE" since my captions are in german and I want them to be translated to english.
Hence:
<file datatype="xml" source-language="de-DE" target-language="en-US" original="RandomApp">
The problem that I now have, is that when I publish my extension and switch between english and german as my language in business central, all I get are the english captions.
The source language will always be "en-US" meaning translations will be from English (United States) to some other language.
The captions in your source code thus needs to be in English (United States) and then you add the translation file for the german language.
Basically all the reports are changed language as per the customer language in OpenERP 7.0. But I have customized a new accounting report as same as default accounting(invoice) report.
While printing my custom report that is not translating based on customer language. Please help to solve this. I am trying this more than two days and not yet any solution.
Note: I have also used setLang function in my report.
Most probably the best solution is to add the i18n folder to your custom addon. In there you add the appropriate .po file and the trick is done.
Remember to add:
folder called i18n
In there
file module_name.pot
file language.po (example it.po)
Salam !
just make [[ setLang('code_lang*') ]] up report
example for french country fr_FR
I hop that help you
In Drupal 7, I have three languages set up: English, French and German. To translate the contact form URL, I've done the following for the French language:
Go to: admin/config/search/path
Click "Add Alias"
Language: select "French"
Existing system path: enter "contact"
Path alias: enter "contactez-nous"
Save
This is working fine. Then I'm trying to do the same for German using the "kontakt" path alias, but each time I go to the translated path (/de/kontakt) I see the following message:
Oops, looks like this request tried to create an infinite loop. We do
not allow such things here. We are a professional website!
This doesn't happen for the French language.
As I've setup the French language a long time ago, perhaps another step is involved but I can't figure it. Any idea ?
Fixed on production site: this only happened on staging environment but I still can't understand why!
I'm quite new to Plone and as you can read in the Title line I'm working with Plone 4.
Despite being new to both plone and Python, I've managed to get a fully working page to send rich text mail messages to user-selected members of my web site.
What I've done is basically clone (i.e. copy and rename) the sendto, sendto_form, and sendto_template and editing them in order to get what i needed.
As I've said it works quite fine but I need to add a CC recipient, but the MailHost.send() method does not allow for a CC header (and though the secureSend method allows for it, it is a deprecated method in Plone 4).
I've also used a template to let the user add an attachment, the template is available at How to send mail with attachments in Plone using a template approach?.
I know that the python email.Header function does exactly what I need, but when I try to import the library I get an insufficient privileges error (I'm logged in as admin).
I've also tried to work around it by using the following approach:
templ="""Subject: %(subject)s
From: "%(send_from_name)s" <%(envelope_from)s>
To: %(send_to_address)s
CC: %(send_cc_address)s
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
Reply-To: %(send_from_address)s
%(comment)s
--
%(signature)s
"""
message=templ % variables
context.MailHost.send(message.encode("utf-8"),encode="quoted-printable")
It works almost fine but can't accept accented characters (which are very common in Italian language).
Any ideas?
Thx in advance,
Luca
You're reaching the limits of the secure python scripting environment you can use TTW in plone. The email module is not allowed to be imported in this type of script.
The old secureSend method on the MailHost object used to have an method parameter for cc which seemed to have been removed in the latest version which only has a "send" method and no cc parameter.
This means you'll have to move the code to a product on the file system in a view in order to use the cc part.
i use aptana-studio 3 on mac for coding php
my problem is auto-complete does not work
But it works well When I press ctrl-space
The second question
how i can change zen coding key from ctrl-e to ctrl-j
thanks and sorry for my bad English
To change the key-binding, you will have to edit the Zen-Coding 'Ruble'.
As far as I understand, you already have the Ruble in your installed set of Rubles. If not, you will need to grab by clicking 'Command -> Bundle Development -> Install Bundle' and select 'Zen Coding'.
Once you have the Ruble installed, follow the instructions on how to edit the Zen coding Ruble ( http://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/Modifying+an+existing+Ruble ), and edit the 'expand_abbreviation.rb' file ( https://github.com/aptana/zen-coding.ruble/blob/master/commands/expand_abbreviation.rb ).
Note the cmd.key_binding.mac = "M1+E". You just need to set it as cmd.key_binding.mac = "M1+J" and restart the studio.
There has been recent work done in Aptana Studio in making content assist (auto-complete) pop up automatically more often across languages. This should improve in the 3.0.3 release. If you like, you can try beta versions of that by visiting here: http://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/Changing+the+Update+Type
