I am facing some problems with my blog's homepage. I am not seeing latest posts on my homepage. When I open the homepage then I saw articles I have posted around 3-4 days ago. Previously I was using cache plugin i.e. WP performance score booster and I think this plugin is causing issue so I removed it and Cloudflare also but still facing problem. Please guide me how to resolve this problem?
Note - When a new users is visiting site then he is getting right information but when returning visitors are visiting site then they are facing this issue.
Due to the plugin that you were using, your returning visitors will need to clear their browser's cache and temporary internet files, close & and reopen their browser, then visit the site again. The users will then see the updated site content.
Alternatively, you can force not to cache by adding the following meta tag in your header document (before the closing </head> tag).
<meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache" />

WordPress website
Checked and no security issues
Checked and not black listed
Checked correct settings in Yoast
Checked basics in Google Search Console
Checked asked Google to reindex pages with issues
Pages appear in the sitemap
25 pages are indexed on the site so know there is no wider issue
Have a client website https://mgrplumbingandheating.co.uk/ the issue is that many of the pages are not being indexed by Google. Have taken all the above steps, and see no issue with the way pages are built.
Example page with issue indexing is https://mgrplumbingandheating.co.uk/landlords-safety-checks-berkhamsted/)
Any help would be handy, going crazy with this.
Have requested indexing of pages several times over the last 3-4 weeks.
Is there anything else I can do or try to get these pages indexed?
Once try the Rankmath SEO plugin and add the sitemap url to Google Console provided by Rankmath and check wether the pages is indexing or not.
Check the Yoast setting of the page which is not indexing and make sure it is set to "index"
Weirdest problem ever. I use wordpress (last version) for my website and I use WP-bakery page builder. It has worked without problems for years. All my plugins are updated to the latest version, except WP bakery page builder because i'm not paying for it.
Today, i decided to update the website, and I go to the contact page of my website and change 1 word in the page and click "update". The website ends up showing a "timeout" and the website stopped working.
"This site can’t be reached. Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"
In opera the error is DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
Then I tried with a VPN and the website works, so I try to update the page again and "timeout" again and the website is down
Then I changed the VPN ip again and my website is working on that new IP. I try to change a blog post, no problem, I add new pages with the testimonial plugin and no problem, then, thinking that everything is ok, i go to the contact page again and i change 1 word and boom... time out and the website is dead for that IP
Now I run out of VPNs to test and I can't access my website anymore, but this problem is very strange.
I tried https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ and that website says that my site is up, but i can't access it anymore due to this change that produced the same awful result 3 or 4 times.
Who knows about this mysterious issue and a potential solution?

I don't know why it happened, but I discovered that a rule of modsecurity blocked my IP whenever I attempted to update my page... Seems to be a security thing with wordpress to avoid attacks... This shows up in the server log.
To solve it I removed the rule for my website... which may cause some security issues, but who cares about security.
But I don't know where this blocking comes from...
I am developing a website and I faced an issue today on my site, I will try to briefly explain the scenario hoping anyone could give a proper explanation for it.
My website is a WordPress website and I have the coming soon page activated so users will be redirected to it.
Two days ago I turned that plugin off by mistake and users were able to see my page. Today I turned it back on, and that's where the issue arises.
In full web (desktop) the coming soon page is visible and working fine, but when I hit the responsive view on my chrome browser the page is still available and the welcome page is not. In the sources tab, I can see the hosted directory being loaded so I went to the hosted directory (public_html) and I hid the folder that contains all the assets (renamed it to .foldername).
I hit refresh still loads the old page when I hit ctrl+shift+r I get the new version. On Firefox the scenario isn't reproducible it just happens on responsive view on Google Chrome browser.
Can anybody explain to me what's happening I assume it has something to do with Google caching my webpage and never updating it. But if like to hear a more professional explanation Thanks.
Have you tried clearing your Cache in Google Chrome? Also, Have you enqueued any Scripts or Styles in your functions.php file? If so, increase their version number. This will force the browser to download the Scripts and/or Styles again rather than loading any Cached copies.
Hope this helps to resolve your problem(s).
I am using wordpress and I needed a application which is made with codeigniter.
I was useing facebook sdk 4 to let my user login but after few day it got phishing by google chrome. Then I delete the application, now it's 404 page.... I request a review in google but no help.

I have talked with google forum but they are all idiots saying i have problem in my 404 page. if the problem in 404 page then my hole site would effected not one directory. I am using popup add from www.popads.net
I think popup is not the problem can i am useing popup in my full site....
http://www.ogx1.com/addme
this link will show 404 but if you add a / it will show phishing... i have no idea what is wrong
http://www.ogx1.com/addme/
guys need help if you can suggest me with any thing....
and can you tell me how many day google take to remove the flag??
thanks :)
It's very likely that the user activity in that page have caused it to be blocked. If users post links to pishing websites, your website will be blocked as well.
If your pages had comments or posts, use CodeIgniter's XSS Clean or any equivalent WP function to prevent malicious code/URLs from being posted by users/bots.
I'm not sure if google will ever unlock the page, so you should consider renaming the "addme" page.
Regards.
When I'm logged in I'm seeing this malicious META refresh code. I've not added. I believe my site was hacked recently.
However, when I'm not logged in, there is no such code. How do I find and fix it?
<META http-equiv="refresh" content="3;URL=http://adf ly/xxxx/">
I'm thinking someone is making money out of my site by adding the code. It's not visible for public for some reasons. It just appears when I'm logged in.
Please help.
Thanks
first update your WordPress.
then you will see in the WordPress management in "pages" a page with this "metadata" name.
just remove that page.
