I am using following simple code for 2d array in golang, where APPEND function is resulting in Duplicate values rather than appending.

I am not getting reason that why APPEND function is resulting in duplicating entries .
There by want to know how to correct this also underlying CONCEPT
This behaviour is occurring because you are not adding a new row slice to your array. Each iteration simply reads into the same row slice overriding previous values. Try below:

and inside this loop make new slice: row := make([]int, n)

you created slice of slice s1 like this :
array [0] = row[0], row[1]
array [1] = row[0], row[1]
so when you change row it will seen twice.

I have a use case where the order of objects needs to be in a specific order. The current implementation is done with using map and I've found numerous posts and articles where it states that map are an unordered list. All of the solutions that I found are those where they've made the keys as integers and they've used sort.Ints(keys) to sort by keys.
In the code, I'm using a yaml template to instantiate a dictionary pair, then passing it into the ProcessFruits function where it does the logic.
How would I go about getting the desired result (see below) where the object from the top of the list in fruits.yml.tmpl will always be first?

The arguments are passed as a slice. Collect every other argument as a string and print:

Not the prettiest solution, but I think I've figured out a working code to my problem. What I've done was creating another dictionary that will keep track of the order of the "fruits", then combining the two dictionary together with a nested for loop and output the result to a slice.

In the following snippet I create a func list that should, the way I see it, contain funcs that print the numbers 0 1 2.

However, all funcs in flist are the same main.main.func1 and the output is

even though i never reaches the value 3 in the loop. This would make me thing the func is simply taking the address of i, creating the same func every time but that i is out of scope when the funcs are called later.
What am I missing here?
If we think of what code is generated for those functions, it is identical indeed: the same variable is used every time. Even though i is out of scope after the loop, it becomes the part of the closures and its latest value is seen by the function when they run. By the moment the loop exits, it's 3. If you want to bind a closure to the particular value and guard it from further changes, you may create a narrow-scoped variable, like this:

Combinations can be printed using the following recursive code (inspired from Rosetta)
I thought it would be easy to store the intermediate results in an []int or the set of combination in an [][]int. But, because the function is recursive, it is not so easy than replacing the
fmt.Println(s)
by a
return s
with a minor modification of the function output for example. I also tried to feed a pointer like
p *[][]int
with the variable "s" inside the recursive function, but I failed :-/
I think it is a general problem with recursive functions so if you have some advises to solve this problem it will help me a lot !

Seems to me that s is being reused by each rc call so you just need to ensure that when storing s into an [][]int you store its copy, so as to not overwrite its contents during the next iteration.

Can someone explain why the results are like the above?
Quoting from this doc:
[...] each iteration of the loop uses the same instance of the variable v, so each closure shares that single variable [...]
In other words, the loop variable v is reused in all iterations, so your assigning the same pointer to all your slice elements.
Variables declared inside the loop won't be recycled like that, so this will work as you would expect:

Btw, you haven't explained why you want to use *int as the type of the values. All this would be simpler if you used simply int values.
The issue here is that the variable v created during the loop is actually a copy of the value we have in the map. The memory related to v is allocated once at the start of the loop and is re-used later on for other values, as the last value here points to is 912 in this case you're seeing 912 inside the array.

One fix for this will be to change your map value to be *int pointers instead of values and later on we can dereference them to get the actual values:
