Synchronize two filters - iccube

I have two widgets with buttons which I want to synchronize. If I press a button on the first widget I can fire the corresponding event of the second widget but the selected button of the second widget doesn't change. Any way to automate this?
And is it possible to synchronize widgets (buttons and filters) over several reports?

All filter widgets have to event handlers that we need:
on Selection - fire event on selection change
do Set Selection - consume event and provide selection on it's own options
Example:
Create two filters and configure similar query options.
After that you should configure Events for the first filter like in the screenshot:
and second Filter's event options are
And after this your widgets will work as desired.

Using bindings with BrazosUI buttons

I'm used to using boolean bindings with IBM buttons to track if a button is clicked. The button in Brazos UI can be bound to any variable type but doesn't make automatic updates to booleans. How do I use bindings with Brazos UI buttons to track which was last-clicked?
The binding of a button is really only useful in tables. The acceptance of ANY variable type for the binding of a button stems from the use of determining the index of a selected row or obtaining the entire row object:
If you bind and integer to the button in a table, the binding will update with the index of the row when the button is clicked.
If you bind a variable of the same (singular) type as the table's binding, then clicking the button will update the binding with that row's data.
Both of those are handy interactions with the table control but don't work for tracking which button is clicked when used elsewhere on a coach. For that, you want to utilize the 'Button Control ID' configuration option. The most direct method is to bind the same string variable to all of the buttons you need to track. When clicked, a button will update that shared variable to match its own control ID. You can then use that unique ID in various scripting checks to take button-specific actions.

Detect selected row with force touch watchkit

Is it possible to detect selected row index with force touch? Did force touch in tableView current row is highlighted. But i can't take info about him when context menu appears. TableView method -didSelectRowAtIndex: not called with this event.
The only thing you can handle programmatically with the Force Touch is the Context Menu and this menu is associated with a specific controller, more information you will find following the link.
About the row highlighting: When you start tapping the system doesn't know what the real action is - the regular touch or the force one. So it is starting to highlight a specific area and only later find out what was the action.

Qt event for delegate in table

Question/Issue
I tried reimplementing the event method in a custom delegate to handle clicks. The delegate is used to render table cells in a table view. However, I do not get any events for the delegate (the method is never called according to the debuger). Is there anything special I need to do so my delegate can track events (in particular mouse entering/exiting, clicks)?
Context
I would like to create my own data representation for table cells. The functionality should be close to a button, but slightly different. I read that the two options for implementing buttons in table are either setting a cell widget which supposedly has a high performance cost (I did not quite understand why) or using a delegate.
Since I want different behaviour than that of a button, and for the speed myth I decided to go with a delegate.
Mouse events are send to the QAbstractItemDelegate::editorEvent() method, even if they don't start editing of the item.

What the best way to coordinate loading initial values in syncronized Combo-Boxes & List Box

Environment: Flex/As3/Cairgorm/composite component.
I have two comboboxes and two datagrids such that the selection of combobox 1, inserts data into combobox two and the fist datagrid. The selection of combobox 2 inserts data into datagrid 2.
I have setup the change event so that the user selection on each of the combo boxes do the right thing. The problem is that on the initial load of the comboboxes, the change event does not fire and subsequent synchronization data loading does not happen.
Is there an event for getting the itemselected (1st item) after the combobox is initialized?
I found my own answer. Using the updateComplete event on each of the comboboxes did the trick.
[EDIT]
It turns out that updateComplete did not work as expected. What I really needed is the dataChange event. However, it appears that this event does not fire for comboboxes even though it is listed as a valid FlexEvent for this component.
I tried a number of other events (valueCommit, creationComplete, initialize) but all of these fire multiple times, overlap with change, and are not useful for this usecase.
In the end, I created a gludge of a chain of calls for the initialize path and change path.
If anyone else has a better way, I'd be very interested.

Is it possible to catch a comboBoxes value before change with a change event

I am displaying a combo box in something of a WYSIWYG preview. I want the user to be able to click on the combo box and see the options inside, but I don't want them to be able to change the value. I tried using preventDefault() on the change event but it doesn't work. I don't want to disable it because I do want the user to be able to "look inside" the dropdown.
So I'm trying to block the change, but can't. My next resort is to change the selected index back to what it was before the change, Is there any way to do this within the scope of a ListEvent.CHANGE event listener?
Current Workaround is to basically re-assign the controls selected item the same way I am defining the selected item when I originally build it (a default selection). So a user sees their change then it immediately changes back to the default selection.
Are you sure that a combobox is what you want? could you do the same thing with a list component that is not selectable?
update:
If you must use a combobox and you dont want the lag from listening for the event and resetting the control, I see two possible options. You could subclass the control and make your own. When you do, hijack any methods that set the value besides the initial selection.
Or, you could try something like this: http://wmcai.blog.163.com/blog/static/4802420088945053961/. The site seems like it is in another language but the code is still there. It will allow you to make your options disabled, so the user cannot choose one of the other options.
