</button>
<ul uib-dropdown-menu role="menu" aria-labelledby="simple-btn-keyboard-nav">

$scope.status = {
isopen: false
};
$scope.toggled = function(open) {
$log.log('Dropdown is now: ', open);
};
$scope.toggleDropdown = function($event) {
$event.preventDefault();
$event.stopPropagation();
$scope.status.isopen = !$scope.status.isopen;
};
$scope.appendToEl = angular.element(document.querySelector('#dropdown-long-content'));
});
please help
Add the class dropdown-menu-right to your <ul uib-dropdown-menu>.
By default, the drowpdown opens aligned to the left side of the parent and growing towards right side. When added the class dropdown-menu-right it will open aligned on the right side.
EDIT:
Angular Bootstrap with Bootstrap 4 allows a more fine-tuned placement of the dropdown, using the placement attribute (w/ possible choices of bottom-right, right or top-right).
Source: https://ng-bootstrap.github.io/#/components/dropdown/api
Vue-Bootstrap provides the right attribute (boolean).
Source: https://bootstrap-vue.js.org/docs/components/dropdown/#bd-content
React-bootstrap calls the attribute pullRight (boolean)

i have a side bar, where in it remains active if im on the screens first tab, if i switch to second tab, the url changes and the sidebar label wont be active.
How can this be solved. Please help.
HTML:
Side bar Code:
<a routerLink="/my-health/my-health-history" [ngClass] = "{'active' : true}" routerLinkActive="active-link" [routerLinkActiveOptions]="{exact: true}" class="list-group-item list-group-item-action justify-content-between"
id="nav-link-1" aria-haspopup="true" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="nav-submenu-1">
<span><i class="icon-heart g-pos-rel g-top-1 g-mr-8"></i>{{ 'DashboardModule.MYHEALTH' | translate }}
</span>
</a>
TAbs code redirected to pages on click of side bar link:
<div class="myhealth mt7">
<ul class="nav nav-tabs menu">
<li>
<a class="active-link" routerLink="/my-health/my-health-history" routerLinkActive="active-link"
[routerLinkActiveOptions]="{exact: true}">myHealthHistory
</a>
</li>
<li>
<a routerLink="/my-health/my-lifestyle" routerLinkActive="active-link" [routerLinkActiveOptions]="{exact: true}">myLifeStyle
</a>
</li>
<li>
<a routerLink="/my-health/my-family-health-history" routerLinkActive="active-link" [routerLinkActiveOptions]="{exact: true}">myFamilyHistory
</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
If i am in myHealth History tab, then side bar will be active, if i shift to other 2 tabs then side bar wont be active
Using [ngClass] = "{'active' : true}" in tag.
The condition are:
Differ your current URL based on tab change.
ex1: http://test.com/tab1 and http://test.com/tab2
ex2:http://test.com/#tab1 and http://test.com/#tab2
Read url and find string like "tab1 or tab2"
add "Active" class based on this condition
You can check for the current active link in the sidebar component.
Sidebar html
<a routerLinkActive="active-link" [ngClass]="{'active-link': isActive()}" class="list-group-item list-group-item-action justify-content-between"
id="nav-link-1" aria-haspopup="true" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="nav-submenu-1">
<span><i class="icon-heart g-pos-rel g-top-1 g-mr-8"></i>{{ 'DashboardModule.MYHEALTH' | translate }}
</span>
</a>
Sidebar ts
constructor(private router:Router) {
}
isActive(){
return ["/my-health/my-health-history","/my-health/my-lifestyle","/my-health/my-family-health-history"].includes(this.router.url);
}

I want to capture all click events on the menu of my page.
I've setup a tag that will capture all click events on my page. It works with the trigger setup to "Click - All elements".
When I set up the trigger to specifically register only the clicks on elements of the menu var, nothing is detected. So, definetly, I'm doing somenthing wrong within the trigger.
EDIT 1:
this is the web page: www.chazki.com
Menu code:
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbar-ex-collapse">
<ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right">
<li class="active">
<a class="new_service">Solicita un Chazki</a>
</li>
<li>
Faq
</li>
<li>
<p class="new_service new-service" style=" padding: 6px;"><a>Login</a></p>
</li>
<li>
<a class="btn btn-default btn-lg location_ac"><i class="fa fa-fw fa-spin fa-star"></i>Lima</a>
</li>
</ul>
<form>
<fieldset class="navbar-form navbar-left">
<input type="text" name="track-code" id="track-code" class="form-control" placeholder="Código de tracking?">
<button id="track-find-button" class="btn btn-default" type="button">Buscar</button>
</fieldset>
</form>
</div>
Try 1 on trigger:
Element ID: It's supposed to limit the clicks registered for only the div containing the menu.
I get this error in debugging mode:
Try 2 on trigger:
on Click ID.
Click ID error:
#
I could also use the ul tag for the trigger, as it is the only unordered list on the page.
Any hint is welcome. Thanks!
Basically I needed to understand the different variables in GTM. I've found Simo Ahava web very helpful in this regard.
https://www.simoahava.com/analytics/variable-guide-google-tag-manager/
Thanks to Simo, I also understood the benefits of usen "Match CSS Selector" option.
So my configuration ended like this:
Using:
Click All Elements.
This trigger fires on "Some Clicks".
"Click Element" -> "Matches CSS Selector" -> "#navbar-ex-collapse ul li a, #navbar-ex-collapse ul li p"
As I have li and a html elements, I needed to use 2 CSS selectors, separated by a comma.
Im trying to add a glyphicon to the left of a link in a dropdown menu, but cant seem to figure it out. This is what my code looks like:
<div class="col-md-4">
<div class="dropdown">
<button class="btn btn-default dropdown-toggle" type="button" data-toggle="dropdown">options
<span class="caret"></span></button>
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
<li><i class="glyphicon glyphicon-flag"></i><%=link_to "report link", report_path(report: {reportable_id: post.id, reportable_type: "Post"}), id: "report_#{post.class}_#{post.id}", class: "report_link", remote: true, method: :post %></li>
Can someone please explain to me how to do this?
Thanks!
Simply put the icon inside the link - there's no visual downside to doing so, and even potentially improves UX (you can click on the icon too).
<li><i class="glyphicon glyphicon-flag"></i> link</li>
See this bootply
So your new ruby link would look like
<%=link_to "<i class='glyphicon glyphicon-flag'></i> report link".html_safe, report_path(report: {reportable_id: post.id, reportable_type: "Post"}), id: "report_#{post.class}_#{post.id}", class: "report_link", remote: true, method: :post %>
(Apologies if this is wrong, I don't actually know Ruby. I assume this was a css positioning error, but if the Ruby is wrong too let me know and I shall delete this answer)
Try using a span outside of your link_to. You would remove the display text ("report link") after the link_to and add it back after the Glyphicon span class ends.
<li>
<%=link_to report_path(report: {reportable_id: post.id, reportable_type: "Post"}), id: "report_#{post.class}_#{post.id}", class: "report_link", remote: true, method: :post do %>
<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-flag"></span> Report Link
<% end %>
</li>
I am trying to add css class in existing razor dropdownList. Here is my code
var webHelper = EngineContext.Current.Resolve<IWebHelper>();
var currencies = Model.AvailableCurrencies.Select(x => new SelectListItem
{
Text = x.Name,
Value = webHelper.ModifyQueryString(Url.RouteUrl("ChangeCurrency", new { customercurrency = x.Id }), "returnurl=" + HttpUtility.UrlEncode(HttpContext.Current.Request.RawUrl), null),
Selected = x.Id.Equals(Model.CurrentCurrencyId)
});
#Html.DropDownList("customerCurrency", currencies, new { onchange = "setLocation(this.value);" })
I have to make the dropdown list a bootstrap dropdownlist like this...
<li class="dropdown">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" data-hover="dropdown" href="#">USD
<i class="fa fa-angle-down pull-right"></i>
</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
<li>
<a>USD</a>
</li>
<li>
<a>BDT</a>
</li>
<li>
<a>EU</a>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
What can i do?
Does this work?
#Html.DropDownList("customerCurrency", currencies, new { onchange = "setLocation(this.value);", #class="dropdown-menu" })
Taking a short look at the Bootstrap documentation for dropdowns, it appears that you need to apply the class dropdown. However, the dropdown rendering of the default Html helper might not correspond to the dropdown rendering required by the Bootstrap dropdown, hence your class does not have the desired effect.
EDIT (following your MVC4 comment):
To mimic the functionality of the Bootstrap dropdown, you could try using this:
<li class="dropdown">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" data-hover="dropdown" href="#">USD
<i class="fa fa-angle-down pull-right"></i>
</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
#foreach(var currency in Model.AvailableCurrencies)
{
<li>#currency.Name</li>
}
</ul>
</li>
You could also try to use Html.ActionLink instead of the "static" a element.
I got the following C# code from Selenium IDE:
driver.FindElement(By.LinkText("Sub Link 1")).Click();
But as it wasn't working, I modified the code below to wait. It is still not working.
WebDriverWait wait = new WebDriverWait(driver, TimeSpan.FromSeconds(10));
IWebElement element = wait.Until(ExpectedConditions.ElementExists(By.LinkText("Main Link 1")));
if (element != null)
{
var innerElement = wait.Until(ExpectedConditions.ElementExists(By.PartialLinkText(
"Sub Link 1")));
}
What might be the possible issue?
My HTML:
<html>
Show navigation
Hide navigation
<div id="navlogo"><a title="HOME" href="url">
<span style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;top:0;left: 0;">
</span></a></div>
<ul class="clearfix">
<li>MXLMain1
<ul>
<li>ML1
</li>
<li>ML2
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>MXLMain2
<ul>
<li>MK2
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Main Link 1
<ul>
<li>Sub Link 1
</li>
<li>Sub Link 2
</li>
</ul>
</li>
..........................
</html>
How about using xpath?
driver.FindElement(By.XPath("//a[.='Sub Link 1")).Click();
It looks like the link that you are trying to use is from a navigation bar. You will need to use Seleniums Actions class to activate the menu dropdown.
Then use Actions class to move to element and click on it.
public void MouseHover(By locator)
{
element = driver.FindElement(locator);
Actions action = new Actions(driver);
action.MoveToElement(element).Perform();
}
To click same steps.
action.MoveToElement(element).Perform();
action.Click().Perform();
Move to initial element
Move to the second element and use click method
