How to use wsdl in servicemethod? - spring-mvc

I am new to soap web-services. I have wsdl file configured in pom.xml like below:
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.jvnet.jax-ws-commons</groupId>
<artifactId>jaxws-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.3</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<goals>
<goal>wsimport</goal>
</goals>
<configuration>
<wsdlUrls>
<wsdlUrl>http://www.webservic.com/uszip.asmx?WSDL</wsdlUrl>
</wsdlUrls>
</configuration>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
I want to use this webservice in spring mvc application. How can I do it?

You can follow this guide for Consuming a SOAP web service on Spring.io.
I prefer following way of consuming web service in Spring. You can inspire yourself. (Note that for generating POJO classes from WSDL I use Eclipse IDE > Generate classes using JAXB).

My Server is up and running at port: 9080.
I am deploying to tomcat from Eclipse (Photon), as follows:
right click --> run as --> Maven build --> on Goals: tomcat7:deploy
after successfully deploying, I opened the tomcat App Manager console, and verified the deployment:
No I would like to start the application, I hit the URL:
localhost:9080/home
Unfortunately I could not open the application. I am getting:
404 Not found: The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.
Any advice greatly appreciated :)

spring MVC - mapping error [duplicate]

This question already has answers here:
Why does Spring MVC respond with a 404 and report "No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [...] in DispatcherServlet"?

Closed 5 years ago.
I found similar questions asked here but I tried those answers and here I am after spending a day. I dont know what is wrong here I am stuck with my first spring mvc application. If anyone can help me then that will be highly appreciated. I am getting error 404- Not found. Console error - "No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [/FirstSpringMVC/welcome] in DispatcherServlet with name 'mvc-dispatcher'"
Here is my entire code.

<%# taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core"%>
<html>
<body>
<h1>Spring MVC Hello World Example</h1>
<h2>${msg}</h2>
</body>
</html>
Well, have done below changes to your code to fix the 404 issue.
#Controller
public class HelloWorldController {
#RequestMapping(value = {"/welcome","/"}, method = RequestMethod.GET)
public ModelAndView helloWorld() {
ModelAndView model = new ModelAndView("HelloWorldPage");
model.addObject("msg", "hello world");
return model;
}
}
It is almost same as yours except it answers to the requests received on root page("/"). I've just added it to directly test the homepage.
I don't know the reason, the combination of #Controller and <context:component-scan base-package="com.thomsontech.controller" /> weren't creating the helloWorldController bean. So, I had to explicitly create bean by adding <bean id="helloWorldController" class="com.thomsontech.controller.HelloWorldController"></bean> in mvc-dispatcher-servlet.xml file. I also removed <bean id="HandlerMapping" class="org.springframework.web.servlet.handler.BeanNameUrlHandlerMapping"/> from the same file as I couldn't see that bean being used anywhere.
So, your final mvc-dispatcher-servlet.xml would be :
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd
http://www.springframework.org/schema/context
http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context-3.0.xsd">
<context:component-scan base-package="com.thomsontech.controller" />
<bean id="helloWorldController" class="com.thomsontech.controller.HelloWorldController"></bean>
<bean id="viewResolver"
class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.InternalResourceViewResolver">
<property name="prefix">
<value>/WEB-INF/</value>
</property>
<property name="suffix">
<value>.jsp</value>
</property>
</bean>
</beans>
In your web.xml, have added <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup> to </servlet> tag, so as to load mvc-dispatcher servlet on startup.
Also, you will have to upgrade of web-app version 2.3 as you are using jstl. JSTL doesn't works only with 2.4+ versions. However, this shouldn't stop you from testing 404 issue. ${msg} in HelloWorldPage jsp will not render "hello world" string returned by the HelloWorldController controller.
Your final web.xml would be :
<web-app>
<display-name>Archetype Created Web Application</display-name>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>mvc-dispatcher</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>
org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet
</servlet-class>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>mvc-dispatcher</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>
After making these changes, do a cleanup of tomcat/jetty work directory followed by maven clean install and then run this app on the server.
Hope this helps and good luck!!

i ask question,finally i find the problem
The problem is value of base-package in mvc-dispatcher-servlet.xml (<context:component-scan base-package="com" />).
i change value of it(<context:component-scan base-package="tt" />) then the problem is solved.
when value of it was com,Spring going to load any class into package of com in another liberary.

Spring MVC: No mapping found for HTTP request

I am making a simple Spring MVC Hello World project. However, I have this tiny bit of problem about the mapping of the jsp files in the URL. Whenever I call http://localhost:8080/SalesManagement/welcomeit returns the 404 Error. I have tried everything said in some of the same questions asked but I still can't make it run successfully. Here are my codes:
package com.salesmanagement.web;

import org.springframework.web.servlet.ModelAndView;

public class HelloWorldController {

public ModelAndView helloWorld() {
String message = "<br><div style='text-align:center;'>"
+ "<h3>********** Hello World, Spring MVC Tutorial</h3>This message is coming from CrunchifyHelloWorld.java **********</div><br><br>";
return new ModelAndView("welcome", "message", message);
}

The name of my project is SalesManagement.
I have my index.jsp inside the WebContent/WEB-INF folder while my welcome.jsp is inside the WebContent/WEB-INF/jsp folder.
I have tried adding the <mvc:annotation-driven /> tag and it's still not working.
Updating this comment this is what worked for me.

Spring data mongodb: mongodb repositories not found when autowired

I have the following stack:
Spring MVC web app
Spring Data MongoDB
When I deploy the webapp and start server (Tomcat 7) I'am getting the following error :
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'userService': Injection of autowired dependencies failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Could not autowire field: private com.qopuir.repository.UserRepository com.qopuir.service.UserService.userRepository; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No qualifying bean of type [com.qopuir.repository.UserRepository] found for dependency: expected at least 1 bean which qualifies as autowire candidate for this dependency. I don't understand why Repositories are not found during autowiring of Services. Any idea?

I don't know if it is a problem of configuration or a problem with version of libraries (I am using the last ones)

You have a typo in the base-package attribute of mongo:repositories in your spring-data.xml file:
<mongo:repositories base-package="com.qoupir.repository" mongo-template-ref="mongoTemplate" />
should be
<mongo:repositories base-package="com.qopuir.repository" mongo-template-ref="mongoTemplate" />
