I m new to Meteor and i want to create an application that will help to convert my user inputs in different language using google translate api.
Is there any packages for that?
Can anyone help me for this?
Thanks
It seems like you already found a npm package for Google Translate. There are several ways you can use npm packages with Meteor.
Meteor 1.3 early beta supports npm. If you want a quick example of this, here it is. However, take note that this is early beta.
If you are using a stable release (eg. Meteor 1.2), you can use https://atmospherejs.com/meteorhacks/npm.
Google Translate API is a paid service so I wasn't able to provide a working example for you. Good luck!

On rnfirebase.io there's no longer any documentation about Admob integration, and I believe I read that it wasn't supported anymore. Would the analytical parts of react-native-firebase/app (e.g. /analytics) work with the react-native-google-mobile-ads module or other similar modules that integrates Admob.
Thanks in advance.
I am trying to create discord bot with all new features. Today I saw this and i can't find out how to do that.
These are Message Commands. This feature will be released in discord.py 2.0
discord.py 2.0 is the next major version of discord.py is currently in development. You can track the development here
message commands in the discord API docs
Alternatives
VoxelBotUtils (pypi) VoxelBotUtils (VBU) is an extension for Discord.py to speed up Discord bot development. It includes a whole slew of features that are commonly used in a lot of bots so you don't need to keep writing them every time.
I don't think that this is in the current version of discord.py. However, there is beta versions of discord.py that maybe has these features, you'll have to join the discord server and get the beta tester role (which is public). the link is here:

Being that Meteor on Windows does not currently support Velocity/Jasmine, I would like to use a cloud-based solution for running Meteor with Velocity. But so far I have not had success. I have tried Nitrous, Codeanywhere, Koding, and Cloud9.
I also use the Meteor Windows Preview and the same issue. See my SO: Easiest way to create mobile apps on official Meteor for Windows
I had the additional constraint that I want to compile Mobile Apps which is currently not supported by the Windows Preview.
I've not had success with cloud-based solutions either beyond very basic test apps. The whole chain is just too fragile, there's often something you need to configure that you can't get at in a cloud solution. Basically, your options are:
Vagrant
Dual-boot (thanks #sbking)
Buy a Mac
I would recommend 3 because it will save you time (and therefore money). The first 2 are fiddly, just adding more sys admin work when we should all be coding :)
ALTERNATIVELY
Switch testing tools to Laika. See related SO: Laika vs Velocity on meteor TDD
Laika (apparently) still works for the moment, even though it is no longer officially supported. I will be using it for my current project in the next few weeks.
I'd be really interested to hear what solution you go for.
At the risk of offering you a pocket-knife when you want a power-tool, there is a meteor package, jasmine-green, that does not require Velocity and therefore works well with Cloud9. While this means that you would not have the full capabilities of a velocity-based jasmine or mocha package, it is a lot better than nothing. Just type:
meteor add fongandrew:jasmine-green
It might be a stopgap while you find a better long-run solution.
I've downloaded package TideSDK-1.2.1.RC1-0be9cd89-windows-7-x86-64.zip from tidesdk.org. Installer was found in tidesdk\sdk\win32\1.2.0.RC4\installer. This installer doesn't work: "Installation failed. The installer could not determine the application path."
What's wrong with it? Is it the only (right) way to install TideSDK? No docs on topic were found in resources and links on tidesdk.org.
It looks like you picked up an artefact from our Continuous Integration System from some point in time in development. We will eventually expose a Nightly Build site for developmental releases. That said, we will do this once the 1.3.0-beta is ready so we can properly support you with developmental artefacts.
Please use the legacy 1.2.0.RC4 in the interim that can be downloaded from front page of tidesdk.org until TideSDK 1.3.0-beta is available (which will be along very soon). This will serve your development needs in short term as we continue the work to get the beta prepared.
A new 'Getting Started Guide' will be up later today for the legacy 1.2.0.RC4 as there have been many requests for this help.
We appreciate how much attention our project is getting and have been working hard as a team to produce great documentation. Despite this, our efforts were primarily targeted on the API documentation at the outset. We experienced a surge of interest prior to getting the new guides in place. Our apologies to anyone new that has experienced any difficulty getting started. We appreciate your patience while we fill these gaps.
The new documentation is being prepared in anticipation of the 1.3.0 release so that we have great API docs, guides, and example apps when the time arrives. It is targeted for the end of September. We hope to also have our Tide Builder app available at that time to provide a nice app to help create, run and package your apps. There will also be an enhanced tidebuilder CLI since a tool with a UI will be strictly an option. For those that appreciate minimalism, this will get you going with no more than the SDK and a text editor.
You need to download Titanium Studio first.
Once that's done, you can install the package : Help menu > Install Sepcific Titanium SDK.
Now that the owner of ASIHTTPRequest is no longer working on the library, is there another alternative that is as good as this library?
Or maybe will the repository from their github be updated? By, maybe someone else who is well educated about the project (At least someone knowledgeable will still continue to work on it)
Thanks
If you look at https://github.com/pokeb/asi-http-request/commits/master you'll see that it has been updated since the owner stopped working on it...
I would recommend AFNetworking as the best supported option for a general networking library

If you are mainly working with a RESTful API, then RestKit is a great library to use instead of writing your own glue code:
