How to Remove (class="local-link">) from our website internal links - css

I want to know how to remove this line:
class="local-link">
which is appear just before our all internal links.
I have found this code on our website Source Page.
class="local-link">

if you want just to remove the attribute class from an element like div use jquery, for example if you have this <div class="local-link"></div>
and with jquery do $('.local-link').removeAttr('class');
EDIT:
If you want to remove local-link and let the attribute class empty you should do this: $('.local-link').removeClass('local-link');

Download all the files by ftp. Search them for the string 'local-link'.
Please give reason why not leave it there.

2sxc: Adding more content templates in the same page does replicate link tags for css and js

I'm new to dnn and 2sxc.
Just wondering if I'm adding for example a card template (image,some text, a link), adding in the html template link tag to css/js, when adding that content more times in the page obviously the link tags are replicate in page source and it isn't so nice.
For example:
<script src="[App:Path]/script.js" type="text/javascript" data-enableoptimizations="100"></script>
it is going to be replicate in page.
Maybe I'm missing something, there is a better way to do it?
Thanks you :)
If you tried it, you should see that it will only be included once, IF you have the data-enableoptimizations included :)
So allready taken care of
Maybe i found the issue...
When I edit a template, selecting Html snippets in the combo to the right, then click on css, style-sheet it is writing a demo link tag, but it is not adding the type (type="text/css"), without it seems not work..
Maybe it could be fixed in a next release :)

Fixing url spaces using CSS

Is it possible to use only CSS to fix url spaces?
Eg: A couple of my url's go like this
<p class="Small-Brown-No-Italic">Link Here: <span class="Hyperlink _idGenCharOverride-1">http://www.example.com/static/TextBox.html</span></p>
Notice the space in the href attribute towards the end. When the user clicks on this url, it gets converted to:
http://www.example.com/static/TextBox.html%20%20
Can CSS help here to fix the spacing issues towards the end of the url? I cannot use JavaScript or jQuery.
No, you can't do this using CSS, you'll need to use, e.g. Javascript*:
var links=document.getElementsByTagName('a');
for(var i=0;links.length;i++){
links[i].setAttribute('href',links[i].getAttribute('href').trim());
}
Remember the seperation of concerns, and responsibility- i.e HTML is for content, CSS for styling and JS for functionality.
* indictative only
You must correct your URLs before sending them.
If you have a lot of URL with this problem, just loop over them and apply trim() (PHP) per exemple.

css changes according to page - not different files

Is there a way to change the CSS style, according to what page the users clicks? And not load different CSS files every time, to do this?
I have a web mapping site, so in small devices I want to do display : none for the header, so the map's div will appear bigger. I will use media queries for this, but the header also changes in all the other pages. I want it to change only in the map's page.
How can I do this? It would be great if there is a method that you dont have to load different CSS files. Is it?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT
The structure of my files is like
<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL);
include_once('header.php');
//rest of the code of the file starts here....
where header.php contains header, menu bar, metadata.
So I cannot just give an id to the header, cause it will still be the same id visible from all the pages
Thanks again
If your page is static one and you need to make only one change, just create a class with display:none; and apply the same to the header without affecting any other page or page elements.
This way, your header also gets hidden and your purpose also gets resolved.
Other way would be to add an id to your <body> and by using parent child CSS selector, hiding your header subsequently for those pages.
Hope this helps.
ou can check your URL through JavaScript and add style for specific element
example
if (window.location.href.toString().toLowerCase().indexOf("map") != -1) { // If url contains maps
document.getElementById("p2").style.display="none";
}

stop page from jumping back to top when empty <a> tag is clicked

The title says it all, how would I make it using only html, no JAVASCRIPT, to stop the page from jumping back to the top if a user clicks on an empty tag? So for example, if at the very bottom of my site, I have a link that is empty, but click on it, it takes be clear back up to the top...
A simple solution to this would simply put in the a tag:
Title
In doing this, it won't scroll your page back to the top. To have it scroll back to the top, take out the a after the # symbol...so it would look like this:
Title
That is the best explanation I can give you without any code provided from you.
Give that a try and it should work with what you are asking for...No javascript is needed. In fact you can even make the #a jump to a different location if you'd like on your page :)
UPDATE:
This may suit you better! Add this to either a js file or add it inline with you html document.
Separate js file (just make sure to call it externally on your html file):
$('#Add_Your_Id_Or_Class_Here').removeAttr('href');
Example: $('#link a').removeAttr('href'); or $('.link a').removeAttr('href'); or even $('a').removeAttr('href');
Now, if you want to achieve this via inline on your html file, simply do this:
<script>
$('#Add_Your_Id_Or_Class_Here').removeAttr('href');
</script>
Again, you can use any of the examples above as well. In fact there are many ways you can achieve this now that I think about it...Hope that helps :)
If your link isn't supposed to be linked (such as when it's just a placeholder for where a link could be) then you should not add an [href] attribute to the <a> element

CSS - trying to apply background-image, using ~/ not working

I'm trying to apply a background-image to a header in a site.master file. If I use:
background-image:url('./themes/Modern/images/bg_full.png')
It works fine for all root level pages, but for any dynamic pages higher up directory structure it does not apply. So I changed it to:
background-image:url('~/themes/Modern/images/bg_full.png')
But when I do this the image does not show on any of the pages. Any help appreciated.
CSS is client based. Basically what your code does is creating a GET request like: http://domain.com/css/~/themes/Modern/images/bg_full.png
You probably want something like:
background-image:url('/themes/Modern/images/bg_full.png'); since this will result in a request like http://domain.com/themes/Modern/images/bg_full.png
background-image:url('http://your-domain-host.com/path_to_images/bg_full.png');
try it if not working then give me your page url i will give you exact code
