I have read trough all Fishpig problems, but none of the solutions work for me ;(
I have added the Fishpig extension and all works fins, BUT that the Store template is not being used. Basically all you see is the blog display only (not very ordered and nice - text should be centered).
I am stuck and do not know what can be causing this. Any ideas?

THANK YOU!
You must be using a root template that doesn't include the header, sidebars and footer as these elements are not on this page what so ever.

Why a website is showing the content like:
[sc_countdown year=”2019″ month=”1″ day=”1″ hour=”0″ minute=”0″ bg_color=”#” num_color=”#ffffff” show_second=”1″ css_animation=”” animation_delay=””]
The whole page is showing content like this. It is based on WordPress and using a theme. Does anyone know why is this and how to fix it?
This is a WordPress shortcode. My guess is there is some sort of countdown plugin that you need to install in order for this content to display correctly. Or maybe the plugin you're trying to use is deprecated, so the shortcode isn't working anymore, and is instead just displaying as plain text on your page.
There are plenty of other countdown plugins you can install that will hopefully work for you.
Okay so my problem is that, I am currently working on a website which is already been created using wordpress. My problem is that when you see the website page, there is all the data and everything is present. But when I come to the backend of the page in wordpress its not showing any content at all. I mean its like there has never been the data at all in this page. Its so confusing. Please answer me this. And kindly remember that I am not a good coder so anything that is related to coding please ellaborate it with examples.
I 've fixed it.
The problem is in charset of db.
Open wp-config.php file and just change charset to utf8 & comment the old one.
define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8');
Thanks
Like the other commenters mentioned, you can also insert content into pages on Wordpress with pages on custom themes.
Remember to back up your site before you make any changes.
Try to change your theme by going to 'Appearance->Themes' in the Wordpress admin window and activating a new theme. Head to the page in question and see if the content is still there. If it isn't, it's being added in a custom theme, which is probably what's happening.
If that's all you need to know, you're all set - otherwise, you can use this process to find what's creating the content:
Go to your Wordpress installation directory (you'll know you're there when you see folders like 'wp-admin' and 'wp-content'), then go to 'wp-content->themes' and see what themes you have installed. You can dig around in the php files there to find the content being created. You'll need to play around with PHP if you want to learn more from there.
I have a website and a blog. I want to insert an iframe into the website, displaying the latest post from the blog.
So I need just the post content inside the iframe, without wordpress headers and sidebars.
Whats the best approach to achieve this?
Thanks for help.
If the site and the blog are on the same domain, you may be best off querying the latest post using the Wordpress API itself, making it unnecessary to fiddle with an iframe.
How to do that is described in Integrating WordPress with Your Website on the WordPress Codex.
If you need to do this using an iframe, I guess it's easiest to set up a new theme that doesn't display anything but the post itself. That would be some work though.
I recently put together a video tutorial of how I did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GuocgQlCmw
I didn't get rid of the WordPress sidebar, but the tutorial shows how I used Firebug to get rid of parts of the header and the same technique should work for the sidebar. There are links in the youtube description to all the reference material I used including a link to a blog entry I wrote describing the process.
This doesn't really answer the question but why don't you use Wordpress for all of your website if you use templates you can make it look like a website and also have a blog. Have a look at this site i made using just Wordpress http://www.smkrc.co.uk. By doing this you would have access to the posts and would not need to use iframes.
I recently started developing websites on wordpress. I have this problem with tinymce editor. When i write post and format content it looks how I want in it. But when I publish post and check that it looks really crappy. Then I called the stylesheet of tinymce editor on everypage of website. I must say there is change but it still looks bad.
How can I get content in exact formatted way as I see in the tinyMCE?
Thanks,
kiran
On the frontend the styles from your theme will be taking precedence over the layout and sizing of content.
In the administration section it will be using a default TinyMCE editor css file. This allows for Wordpress to easily support a variety of themes without making many changes.
So that leaves you with the potential inconsistency, which you have identified here.
Either you work with the WYSIWYG editor giving you an approximation or you could add the relevant styles from your theme to the editors CSS. This can be done using add_editor_style() DOCs.
Use this WordPress plugin to solve your problem.

I am upgrading a friends wordpress site from 2.9.2 - 3.1 He uses the HTML Javascript Adder plugin to create a widget in a sidebar that disappears - but only on some pages. Any idea what could cause this - or better yet how to fix it??
This didn't happen at all in 2.9.2. In the course of the upgrade, the plugin was also upgraded...
U treid to found that addon for 3.1 version of WordPress?
