How can I update meteor mongo database from another program?
For example, I want to have bash script that adds one document to collection when it is executed.
If that was SQL like sqlite, I would simply have script like this one:

I have created a gremlin api database in Azure Cosmos DB and have data in one collection.
However, I want to know if there is a way to clone the data into another collection in another database.
I want to copy graph data from Dev environment to stage and prod environments.
You can use existing tools for cosmos SQL API(earlier known as documentdb), cosmosdb allows you to query graph via sql API as well
Something like "select * from c" can fetch you the json representation of how cosmosdb stores your graph data.
The simplest approach would be using cosmosdb migration tool:
Set input source as Cosmos SQL API/Documentdb, and use your dev endpoint with the following query select * from c
Set output type as json and export your data
Now use the downloaded json as input source and set your prod graph db as your output(choose documentdb/cosmos SQL API as output type) and run it.
This should push your dev graph data to prod.
You can also use other Azure tools such as data factory, which work with documentdb
Just used this CosmicClone to clone a cosmos db graph database form one account to another https://github.com/microsoft/CosmicClone. Cloned 500k records in 20mins. Looks like it would work with a DB to clone a collection.
I've been using unecrypted data base so far in my app and now I wanted to migrated my database to encrypted database using SQLCipher. Here is my situation.
For the next release I'll update the database version and that will execute the script. For the onUpgrade() to be called I've to call geReadableDatabase() or getWriteableDatabase(). So when I'll called for any operation() it will execute my script and that will do the following operation.
Create and encrypted database.
Export data from the old (un-encrypted) database to the encrypted database.
Delete the old database.
So when I'll perform the migration I'll like to halt all the other operation until the migration is complete and then halted operation will be performed on the encrypted database.
Not really sure how can I achieve that so what approach should I use to achieve this.
I think what you are searching for is
sqlcipher_export method
It easly facilitates copying unencrypted DB to the encrypted one. On Android probably you could do something like:
unencryptedDb.rawExecSQL("ATTACH DATABASE 'secure_db_name.db' AS encrypted KEY 'testkey'");
unencryptedDb.rawExecSQL("SELECT sqlcipher_export('secure_db_name')");
unencryptedDb.rawExecSQL("DETACH DATABASE secure_db_name");
Do we have any way to specify default schema in cataloged DBs in db2 client in AIX.
The problem is , when it's connecting to DB, it's taking user ID as default schema and that's where it's failing.
We have too many scripts that are doing transactions to DB without specifying schema in their db2 sql statements. So it's not feasible to change scripts at all.
Also we can't create users to match schema.
You can try to type SET SCHEMA=<your schema> ; before executing your queries.
NOTE: Not sure if this work (I am without a DB2 database at the moment, but it seems that work) and depending on your DB2 version.
You can create a stored procedure that just changes the current schema and then set the SP as connect proc. You can test some conditions before make that schema change, for example if the stored procedure is executed from the AIX server directly with a given user.
You configure the database to use this SP each time a connection is established by modifying connect_proc

I am very new to AS400, and I am stuck. I have read documenation but cannot find what I need.
I have an odbc connection to an AS400 server. When I run this command I get an Outfile with everything I need:
CALL QSYS.QCMDEXC('DSPUSRPRF USRPRF(*ALL) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(CHHFLE/TEST3)', 0000000061.00000)
Instead of the results going to an outfile I need to receive the results of this command to my script that is connecting through odbc. If I change 'OUTPUT(*OUTFILE)' to 'OUTPUT(*)' I get no results when I try to 'fetchall()'.
Is there any way to get this information through the odbc connection to my script?
EDIT: I am on a linux server, in a python script using pyodbc to connect. I can run sql queries successfully using this connection, but I can't figure out how to get the results of a command to come through as some sort of record set.
I hope I'm interpreting what you're asking correctly. it looks like you're accessing user profile data and dumping it to a file. It looks like you then want to use the contents of that file in a script or something that's running on Windows. If that's the case:
In general, when accessing data in a file from the Windows world, whether through ODBC and VBScript, or .NET, the AS/400 is treated like a database. All files in libraries are exposed via the built-in DB2 database. It's all automatic, and part of the Universal DB2 database.
So, after creating this file, you should have a file named TEST3 in library CHHFLE
You'd create a connection and execute the following SQL statement to read the contents:
Select * From CHHFLE.TEST3
This, of course, assumes that you have proper permissions to access this. You should be able to test this using the iSeries Navigator tool, which includes the ability to run SQL Scripts against the database before doing it in your script.

There's info at this question on connecting to the DB2 from Python. I hope it's helpful.
OUTPUT(*) is not stdout, unfortunately. That means you won't be able to redirect OUTPUT(*) to an ODBC connection. Dumping to a DB2 table via OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) is a good plan. Once that's done, use a standard cursor / fetch loop as though you were working with any other DB2 table.
In normal condition, I can add schemas in the dbml file to empty database with code below.
But now when I run this code, I take the error "Cannot drop database "test" because it is currently in use." How can I do it?

It might happen as your SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) must be holding it.
Most likely something is connected to the db.
Common causes are:
Some other tool connected
Trying to delete the database you connected to.
Another user connected to the db.
