I'm looking for a good program to create maps (specifically of the netherlands) where I can specify my own region-borders. For example, in The Netherlands I have many maps that I can use with province / county layout. However, my company has their own division of regions, and I would like to create a map with my own borders. For example outline a region with 3 cities that fall under it. Then I'd like to show statistics/numbers on these maps.
Currently working with R, but haven't found a way to make it possible. Does anyone have any recommendations for programs that allow me to do this? (doesn't have to be free).
For example; would like to be able to make maps like this, but with (handmade) different borders:
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
I'm making a gantt chart using Matrix and can't figured out how can I make the date as headers. I want to copy the design like on this picture.
I want to use as header in my matrix gantt chart. So the final design should be like this:
The blue one is my current design so far :-) I
I am attempting to create a pie chart that will display the health status of various systems. This is what the chart currently looks like:
Each data point, in addition to the possible errors messages, has a name in its data.
Is it possible to configure the chart so the system names are shown in the pie chart? In the tooltip for each slice would be preferable, but any solution will work.
You can Add (button at the buttom of the configuration) a second visualization, which will then add another layer around your first visualization.
This is an example for log.level and around it labels.url.full:
I just started learning ELK, the data I am using has the following sample:
"YEAR","QUARTER","MONTH","DAY_OF_MONTH","DAY_OF_WEEK","FL_DATE","UNIQUE_CARRIER","AIRLINE_ID","CARRIER","TAIL_NUM","FL_NUM"
2016,1,1,6,3,2016-01-06,"AA",19805,"AA","N4YBAA","43"
2016,1,1,7,4,2016-01-07,"AA",19805,"AA","N434AA","43"
2016,1,1,8,5,2016-01-08,"AA",19805,"AA","N541AA","43"
2016,1,1,9,6,2016-01-09,"AA",19805,"AA","N489AA","43"
2016,1,1,10,7,2016-01-10,"AA",19805,"AA","N439AA","43"
When I am creating my first visualization, I want to have a pie chart to show the top stats of "CARRIER", in Kibana, below is what I see:
You can see from the left panel setting "Order", there is no "Top" in the dropdownlist, which causes the chart area shows one pie for the lowest stats of "CARRIER" which in this case is WN, and the rest is grouped into the second pie.
Doesn't make any sense here.
I watched some tutorial videos and there supposed to have more options in the dropdownlist like Top, which means for pie chart creation.
Am I missing anything here? How do I create the needed pie chart?
Thank you very much.
The "Size" parameter is actually the "Top X" you are looking for.
In your chart, it shows only 1 value, and it chooses the first value by order of ascending.
Change it to have more values.
I have a graph in Calc but not any data points for that chart. How can I extract a raw data in, say, CSV format or create a spreedsheet?
Thank You!!
If it's a simple picture, not a "real" chart, then you'll need a 3rd-party digitizing software; AFAIK there's no built-in feature to digitize plots in LO calc. There are some lists of digitizing tools online, for example http://connectedresearchers.com/graph-digitizer-comparison-16-ways-to-digitize-your-data/ . For a free, online tool, you may check the WebPlotDigitizer by Ankit Rohatgi.
If it's in fact a chart, and you're searching for the data, do the following:
Double-click on the chart; now, it should have a gray border:
Right-click inside that gray border to open the context menu; select the last entry "Data ranges":
The content of the "Data Range" field contains the address of the source data for the chart. The sheet name is followed by a ! sign and the field range:
