Create a Report in vb6 via Data Grid - datagrid

Again, This is very simple, I know but hard for me. Now, what I have done is selected an Excel file and copied the data into Data Grid. Now My question is = "Is it really possible to create a report from this Data Grid?" or I am chasing some impossible.
Any suggestion is appreciated!

Exporting data from power query to csv in sharepoint using R

I hope to get a solution here. I am completely new to R and really all i need it for is to extract data from power query and append it to an existing csv file. The only export approach that i have come across only works for exporting to the local c drive as per my example below. This approach however does not work for files in sharepoint with a URL. Can you please advise on a solution? Thanks
write.csv(dataset,"c:\\documents\\test.csv ,append=true")

How can I extract all the data from the Cancer Types Summary Page on CBioPortal at once?

I would really like to take the data that would normally be seen by hovering over each column at once. The graph is an interactive one so its hard to extract all the data at once. I would really like it.
I suggest that you pick a programming language that you know fairly well.
Then load the web pages, use a selector to select the desired elements, and output the data in the format you like.
Please begin writing the code, and update your question when you have something working at least partially, so you can ask precisely where you need help

Export data to Excel Part By Part

I have a huge dataset value in JRDatasource object and am not able to export it to Excel as it will give me memory out of space error. So am planning to split the JRDatasource object and export the data part by part. Any idea or suggestion on how to implement this? Or any other way suggested also fine for me. Thanks in advance.
I dont know much about JRDataSource, but I'll offer another solution.
Take a look at Apache POI library which enables you to create excel files on-the-fly.
So you can read from the data source element by element and persist them on a excel file.

Easy way to replace Data with ComboBox? Or populate ComboBox from Data

I took over a very old project written in VB6, it's a mess and I don't really know VB so it would be great if someone could help me.
I have a Data control which gets records from an Access database which I would like to replace with some kind of drop down list - I thought about ComboBox. Unfortunately I cannot get records from the database in the same way as with Data, so I thought about populating ComboBox based on what's in the Data control. How can I achieve it? Or is there a better way to do it?
My last resort is to create all database methods manually in order to replicate Data's behaviour for ComboBox but I think it's too much effort for such a small change.
Thanks in advance!
The Data control does more than just let them browse through the records, it manages the database, current record, data binding, etc.
The easiest way to do what you want is to hide/move the data control and use its .Recordset.Find*() methods.
Note that DAO is archaic and has been supersceded at least once for VB6 (with ADO)

getting data from controls in <asp:wizard>

Hi
Is there a way to get data on the "last step" from previous steps?
I am interested in pulling data from couple of controls in each step, and then build the object and insert the new object to the data base.
Thanks for every one who helps me.
You can still reference controls in earlier steps, regardless of what step the wizard is currently on.
What did you try and what was the result?
