Error when launching Meteor tutorial on Nitrous.io - meteor

I try to launch the meteor tutorial on Nitrous.io.
When I use it from my house, its' ok.
When I use it from my corporate office, it's ok.
I think that's because of proxy,i 've tried to configure environments variables like HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY but it dosnt works.

try to use the ip instead of the webadress 54.225.85.97 or change http to https in the browser

The answer is here :
https://github.com/meteor/meteor/wiki/Using-Meteor-behind-a-proxy
Thank's.

Deploy from GitHub (Use Jenkins and Nginx)

I want ask the question.
I want to deploy from github to nginx server using jenkins. Maybe you can help me with this? When i try to add in Jenkins setting Publish over SSH i have error
jenkins.plugins.publish_over.BapPublisherException: Failed to add SSH key. Message [invalid privatekey: [B#2a8ec46d]
I just started to study these technologies and most likely I am doing something wrong. Maybe i need configure my nginx files?
Also please tell me something links maybe with Guid how to deploy from GitHub using Jenkins and Nginx.
check this question from StackOverflow, someone faced the same problem and solution provided.
Check first (in addition of my old answer already mentioned) if you need to add to your SSH daemon config file (/etc/ssh/sshd_config), as seen in jenkinsci/publish-over-ssh-plugin issue 94:
PubkeyAuthentication yes
PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes=+ssh-rsa

Curl error 7 when installing apps on nextcloud

Hey this is my first question on here, so go easy.
I set up a Nextcloud server on my homelab in an ubuntu server 20.04 vm using the snap install. I have a seperate vm running nginx as a reverse proxy to my Nextcloud instance. Everything works flawlessly as intended, except that when I try and install apps on Nextcloud, I get a curl error #7. I've tried using my lan ip through the web ui, my public domain name through the web ui, and the commandline using the nextcloud.occ app:install command. I always get the same error. I tried to find the appropriate log file to get more information but looking in /var/snap/nextcloud/current/log/ I couldn't find any relevant info in any of the logs. Running php -m comes up with php not installed, I guess because php is installed via the Nextcloud snap? Obviously php is installed somewhere because Nextcloud is running, but I don't know how to look and see what modules are enabled, or how to install new ones using the snap. Any help on what to do is much appreciated!

Update: I fixed it. I think I had improperly configured my firewall, and turning it off (in proxmox)/making some changes to my /etc/netplan/*.yaml file to properly configure the static IP fixed it. GL
Another reason can be a wrongliy configured network. I forgot to set the gateway/proxy for IPv4, so github.com was unreachable. Most other services I use seem to resolve IPv6 first, so I did not have any other problems besides updating nextcloud apps.

gapi.auth2.ExternallyVisibleError: Invalid cookiePolicy

I'm trying to add a Google Sign In Authentication system to my app, but I keep getting a strange error that I haven't seen anyone get. I'm using EXACTLY the google example code.
I thought it could be some mistake when loading the api, so I checked the async loading and everything seems to be loading properly, but I keep getting this error in the console:
gapi.auth2.ExternallyVisibleError: Invalid cookiePolicy
I searched everywhere for people with the same problem, but I could not find anything similar.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I tried to create a page with ONLY the code of the tutorial, but the error still occurs.
Well, turns out I was trying to test the API by directly acessing my files locally (index.html). The Google Sign In API only works in a running web server. I started a simple node.js server, ran my app trhough this server, and everthing worked just fine.
As already answered by KoJoVe, you need to run inside a web server. If you are using Python 2.7 you might use python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000 and then use localhost:8000 on your browser
I've been trying to get a chrome extension to work for a very long time, and I recently decided to click into the error. The reason is because the google platform script checks window.location.protocol (which isn't https for chrome extension) and throws the error 'invalid cookie policy'.
My theory as to why Google won't fix this:
They want to drive people into using paid OAuth2 endpoints
They want to know who received the tokens, if possible (via certificate authorities)
I was having this problem using react-google-login in a create-react-app, and I found that I was accessing the page with http://[::1]:3000/sign_in instead of localhost.
I think google does not like 127.0.0.1 or ::1 since we expose the IP directly or something
When I change to localhost:3000 and it worked.
This worked in my case with python 3:
open python terminal and write the following code:
from http.server import SimpleHTTPRequestHandler as handler
import socketserver as socket
httpd = socket.TCPServer(("",8000),handler)
httpd.serve_forever()

How can i setup Drush to use a proxy server to access internet on Windows7?

i am using WAMP for Drupal development. I have installed drush and it works fine when using home network without any proxy. When i am at work, the network setting uses a proxy to access internet and hence any drush command which need internet, eg. drush dl {module_name}, doesn't work.
After googling i could only find texts that told me how to configure them on *nix based OS. I'm stuck with windows7. Any idea?
Okay. I got it running. I had to do the following change to make drush dl work on windows 7. Apparently "which wget" wasnt returning anything as windows doesn't have a 'which' command. I hacked the drush core to do the following changes.
Go to file drush.inc in folder C:\ProgramData\Drush\includes
Change the line $use_wget = drush_shell_exec('which wget'); with $use_wget = drush_shell_exec('where wget');
Root Cause:Windows doesn’t have 'which' command, 'where' command serves the purpose
I think there was no issue with proxy at all and it was using proxy from drupal's settings.php file correctly

QT - qtwebsocket - can't connect

I'm using qtwebsocket from https://github.com/antlafarge/QtWebsocket on QT Creator 5.0, Linux 64bit. I'm trying connect to echo test:
wsSocket->connectToHost( "echo.websocket.org", 80 );
But I immediately get disconnected status. I tried also with ws:// and http:// prefix but same error. Any idea? I even don't know how to report a bug on this gitorious.
It is important to me to don't use webkit, I need pure TCP socket connection.
Regards
There is also a Qt websockets add-on module located at https://qt.gitorious.org/qt/qtwebsockets.
It has been tested on several platforms, and successfully succeeds with the AutoBahn Testsuite.
Just quickly looking at the example located:
https://github.com/antlafarge/QtWebsocket/tree/master/Example
I don't know the state of the project too well, but it looks like there is still a to-do list on what it can do; one item I noticed, it says WSS is not yet supported.
Try running both sides of the Client and Server in the included example, and see if you can get a connection in that context before trying the echo.websocket.org server.
Hope that helps.
