I relly need help. I made a wordpress website, but i dont know how to disable top page from drom down menu.
I want to turn off page "Apartmani" because it is a empty page, so can you tell me how to disable that page and when you want to click on it nothing happens.
Here s the picture http://www.dodaj.rs/f/t/13H/495kOjY8/pitanje.png so i want to unable "Apartmans".
Thanks

The easiest way for you do do this is not to add this "Apartmani" as a Page in your menu, but as a simple link (as you can add custom links in your menu), with "#" as target. As is you will have a menu item that will handle its sub-pages, but this item will not lead to anything at all as long as the targeted link is #...

WordPress menu - Show a pop-up box when clicked

I would like to click or hover on the links on the right and have it bring up the associated page/post as a pop-up. I have used the primary WordPress nav menu, that can be edited from the dashboard. But WordPress menus contain either pages, links, or categories. What one of those three should I use in the menu, to bring up an associated pop-up? The pop-up will look like this:
I thought a post would be a good one. A page will take the user to a new page which is not really what we want. We want it all to stay on this page.
You should use "lightbox gone wild" from this link. I have used in my site and
it is working very fine. There are many features in it like, next-previous button, close
button, open popup inside popup. For any help you can contact me. I have used it in my site

Displaying a menu/block in a page/node

I'm new to Drupal and making some changes to an exisiting site.
I have a page with a menu in the left side bar, which shows on all the pages in that menu apart from the one i've added. I've done it before where you have to add the URL of the page you want the menu to show somewhere in the admin panel for the menu to show.
If i go to: site building > blocks > block_name and then tick 'Users cannot control whether or not they see this block.' The menu wil show. But it will also show on pages I don't want it to.
Do you know where in the Admin I need to go to allow the menu to show on this new page.
Thanks in advance.
After hours of hunting around I've found the answer, the block has text box at the bottom of the page 'page specific settings' where you add the URL of the page you wish the block to show on.
You can use menu_block module.
It creates the menu inside a block and treats it EXACTLY like a block.
Hope this helps... Muhammad.

Wordpress link different color custom menu

I'm currently working on a Wordpress website with an custom jQuery menu. And everything is working fine except for one thing. I want to add a active class to an menu item that corosponds with the current page.
So basicly when the viewer is on the page "catering" I want the catering menu button the have an different style then the rest. But because it's wordpress I can't put in the html so I guess it has to be done with PHP but that's really not my thing.
So I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction. Here is the link to the website http://no-illusions.nl/projecten/kokaanhuis/wordpress/# no pages are currently working but when you hover over a button a brown layer appears, I want that layer to be static (when it's down) on the current home page but canĀ“t figure out the best way to do it.
Use wp_nav_menu (http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_nav_menu). It attaches a current-menu-item class, as well as a few other useful classes (current-menu-ancestor, etc) for styling. Plus you'll also be able to easily edit the menu with the menu admin page.

disable parent page, wordpress navigation

I need to disable parent pages in my wordpress navigation menu. I have found a few plugins that disable click-through, but hover arrow and color change are still present. Looking to simply have the parent page show as text in the menu. Here is the header.php code if needed.
http://pastebin.com/Cd4HWTTV.
Please let me know if other information is needed.
Your help is much appreciated.
Alex
I have come across this a few times before. If I understand correctly, you have something like an About Us section, but there's no content on the About Us page. You want the link in the header to redirect to the first subpage in that section, the History page for example.
The way I had to deal with this was to make About Us redirect to History using a plugin called Page Links To.

Drupal removes a page from menu links after page edit

This might be a really simple thing but i was unable to find an answer to it. The issue is this:
I'm using Drupal 7, updated from Drupal 6. I have main menu to which i've assigned some pages. Whenever i edit one of those pages Drupal, for some reason, removes it from the menu links. Anyone ever had the same problem or would anyone have any ideas as to why it behaves this way?
Ok, let's try to rule some things out. You said that you assigned this menu to some pages. If you are viewing the page in view mode, then click edit, then save, you will be taken back to the view of that node. If you are viewing all of your content in the admin, then click edit by the node, then click save, you will be taken back to the list of content in the admin. Take a look where you assigned this menu to, AND/OR where you did not assign it to. Make sure you are not looking at a page where the menu was not assigned to.
You only needed to enable it from the settings - 'Provide a menu link'.
