cant find correct font - css

This may not be an ordinary question you see here on this site but it's the best website to ask questions!
I have been searching for ages but I can't find the correct font!
The image you see above I took from a website that uses this font. I have been searching and I can't find the font that looks like the image above. If you recognize this font, please write in the chat what it's called or send a link to where I can find it! Thank you.
Sorry for bad spelling I'm from Sweden.

It's a Font called "Railway Black", you can find, and download it here:

Barlow rendering difference between Google Fonts example page and usage in a separate page

We're using Barlow, available for free from Google fonts, in a web app. Here's the way a sample phrase looks when rendered on Google's example page. (If you want to reproduce it, you will need to enter the custom text yourself and adjust the slider to 14px.)
Note, in particular, the distinct space between the bottom of the i and its dot above, as well as the clarity of the top part of the f.
This is how the same phrase looks when rendered in our app, as reproduced in this Code Pen.
Note the muddy space between the i and its dot, as well as the muddy top curve to the f.
I've tried looking through all the styles on the elements in question, and I can't find any style that should affect these differently. The network tab clearly shows that the bold version of the font is being loaded; it doesn't look as if this could be faux bold.
This may seem trivial, but we've actually had quite a few complaints about how the font looks in our app, specifically that the bold, lowercase i looks like an l.
Anyone have an idea what might be happening here?
Update: Using Chrome on a Mac; I can confirm the same issue in Firefox. This is on an external display... on a retina there's no problem, as there is way more detail.
The problem turned out to be a problem with the source repo: "hinting got missed in the most recent commit" and the Google specimen (which looked correct) was "actually running an earlier version."
Happily, the maintainer was able to get the problem fixed with a subsequent version.

Google Icons - how to get them?

I'm searching for google icons for my website, but google doesn't provide somewhere their icons to be used.
Does anyone know how to get them?
btw, something I already found is this:
http://www.google.com/images/icons/product/search-128.png
http://deployment.googleapps.com/Home/user-resources/google-icons-and-logos
or, a direct download, http://deployment.googleapps.com/Home/user-resources/google-icons-and-logos/google_apps_icons.zip?attredirects=0
as it's a download, I left the link bare so you can see where it comes from
regarding google icons there is a huge new repository coming with the Material Design thing here : https://www.google.com/design/icons

How to ignore IE "Text Size" option to display exact web page?

Please have a look at this beautiful website : http://www.snipe.net/
If you are using MS IE, choose a different "Text Size" from your browser "View" tab.
You can see nothing on the page changes. This is not often seen on most of websites, even Google.
I wonder how this could be achieved? Tried to search for a solution but was not lucky.
I got this question because the website I am going to build has different lookings
according to the "Text Size" option. It would be great if everything is the same regardless the Text Size user chooses.
If anyone can give me some ideas that would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Specify your text size in "px", for example:
.specificSize
{
font-size:12px;
}
Be sure to check any accessibility requirements before you do this. This can cause problems if people are extremely farsided and can't read too well.
The font sizes are all in pixels.
This behaviour is BAD!
Some people might not have eyesight as good as yours. Allow them to increase it if they want it.

I want to create a navigation application but can't found any icons/symbols that suitable for my needs, i just hope i can find some icons with consistent style like what we currently see in google maps or garmin.

If you're interested in making your own icons, I recently found an editor I like. I am not affiliated in any way with the developer:
IcoFX - The Free Icon Editor
I found one interesting icons set with consistent style, not original google maps icons/symbology though. Could anyone help me where i can find all icon used on google maps?
