Android : How to change accessibility reading order - accessibility

I wonder how to change accessibility (talk back) reading order when using swipe left / right gesture to next item / previous item. The nextFocusForward / nextFocusDown methods are used but not work at all.
Thank You.

Adding tabindex="0" for html element will get the focus based on its order in the Dom, and we need to add role of the element will read its type as shown in below example
read as button
to get the focus you have options using jquery methods focusIn(),focusOut().focus().
to get the focus based on some event as below :
$("#elementId").first().focus();// it will get the focus based on event

Can't click overlapped element within a popup(not main window),how to scroll it to view?

As you can see,I can click the first check box(PRODUCT-323),but can't click the second.After a long
trying,I find it is because the second doesn't get scrolled to view(Is it intented by tool design or a bug?).So how to scroll this popup div to ensure the second get shown?
Actually,I have tried this,but failed
((JavascriptExecutor)driver).executeScript("document.getElementById("pupop").scrollTo(0,30)");
Can you please share which version of WebDriver are you using?
If I remember correctly, Version 2.16 or so had a known issue with locators not scrolling into view. The reason being,, they were using the position co-ordinates of the center of the element to bring focus and in this case, the center is hidden from view. This was solved in later versions.
There are a couple of approaches.
1) Try to perform some action on an Element that is completely hidden from view.This will bring the element fully into view and you will be able to access it.
In this case, try to access the checkbox in 3rd or the 4th row, you will be able to bring focus there. Then access the 2nd row.
2) Do a Driver.Manage().Window.Maximize() [This is in c#]. This will also bring the element into view.
It is a good practice to avoid a window with both scroll-bars. By maximizing it you will reduce the window for such errors.
Hope this is useful.
Did u try the keyboard options?? ctrl+ down arrow through script???
Or in the worst case use tab to focus on to that checkbox.. I works in OpenScript and RFT this way.
1) To click the second checkbox: You can use the xpath to find that element. In xpath you can easily get the table row id for each checkbox which will gets incremented in their ID.
2) To scroll you can use the below code:
JavascriptExecutor js = (JavascriptExecutor) webdriver;
js.executeScript("scroll(0,0);");

Flex form inside Pop up window - Tab (order) between forms not working

when user clicks on Add button, then a pop up button will be opened with certain form elements (like textinput, date field, text area).. When i used 'TAB' inside this form,it is not working. I found in couple of Questions / forums that we need to create an instance of FocusManager and then bring/activate focus for the pop up. But still i didn't see the tab working inside the form. In order to tab order working inside a pop up, what steps we need to follow.
I tried using focusmanager and property like tabfocusenabled, tabenabled and also added taborder inside each form element. But no luck.
Iam using Flash Builder 4.5 and using spark components for development.
Is there any workaround for this problem?
Thanks in Advance,
Regards
Srinivasan
Thanks for all your responses.
Finally the issue has been solved by one of my colleague. Problem is , the form has been loaded inside Horizontal accordion (flexlib HACCORDION). So inorder to draw focus inside the accordion to child elements, we need to add 'hasFocusableChildren="true"' for the HAccordion (horizontal accordion component). Adding this property solves the tab order problem.
I have also pasted the code below:

Flex custom component first item not read by JAWS

Flex application is being made accessibility compliant. When a custom component is made visible based on some condition, the first item (either text or formitem or textarea) inside the component is skipped by Jaws. It reads from the second item. On pressing UP arrow, the first item is then read.
Is there a way to make the first item accessible without need for pressing UP arrow?
This is likely going to be related to focus management.
You're likely going to want to assign componentId.setFocus() to the first component in the current view when the view state changes.
You need to re-assess the focus when the state of your display changes. If you post how you are managing display state I can suggest exactly how to trigger that via an event or in your custom state method.
Also, if that doesn't work, try this once your screen is ready / state changed :
focusManager.moveFocus(mx.events.FocusRequestDirection.TOP);

How to make Qt widgets do not react on mouse click

I need on my form ordinary widgets (e.g. buttons) do not react on mouse clicks but NOT to be disabled (it change look to grayed one -- not good).
I wonder is there some neat small hack for this?
You could stick in an event filter and filter out the mouse events before passing the remaining events on for processing, but I'm not sure that not giving the user a visual clue that certain elements are effectively disabled is such a good idea.
You could try using style sheets to control how the disabled mode of the buttons in your form get styled. Unfortunately I'm not sure exactly how to do that but you could have a look at the style sheet docs to get you started.

Detecting out-of-view flex controls

In my flex app I have custom tooltips on buttons that hide and show based on user context.
The problem that I dealing with is that when I call my showTips() function I only want to show tooltips on the buttons that visible in the view. So buttons that on a un-selected tab (tabNavigator) should not show the tooltips.
For some reason all tooltips are showing.
Is there a way to detect if a button is not in current view, like on a un-selected tab?
If you gave us some code I could check this out, but would this work?
if(button.parent.visible) { showTip(button);}
Instead of custom coding for each button, make use your tabnavigator's creation policy is set to "auto".
