I define a route in RouteConfig for new url like this http://itface.ir/home/detail/439/Newtech,
"New tech" is subject and sometimes it has to be in another language like Persian , it works correctly on localhost but after deploying the below url I get the following error :
http://itface.ir/home/detail/439/سلام
Error 404 - File or directory not found.
I search for it but did not find any answer

I'm currently using webstorm to program my webpage and when I open it through Google chrome and host it locally, the url the browser uses is
http://localhost:63342/assignment2/statichtmlpage-edit.html?_ijt=nqejipcmjnaun1b1416leu6a2i
When I open Terminal in order to host it on ngrok, I type in ./ngrok http 63342
and then a window opens with the ngrok url that I can use
but when I go to that URL (http://4038e733.ngrok.io) all I get is a 404 NOT FOUND error.
I'm not sure why this is happening, any help would be appreciated
Access your page with the full URL:
http://4038e733.ngrok.io/assignment2/statichtmlpage-edit.html?_ijt=nqejipcmjnaun1b1416leu6a2i
Add your path to web (.html) files after the http://4038e733.ngrok.io/ page.
You were hosting from the root directory http://localhost:63342/, but forgot to point to a file. So as expected, the error:
GET / 404 Not Found
Is saying there is no file at the root directory.
I'd imagine the fix for most users is to append /index.html to the end of their ngrok link:
http://ngrok.io/ ... /index.html
I'm having error 404 when I try to get a file from the server. The folder I have is inside the folder / web /, but when I click on the link https: // my_site_name / web / my_folder_file, error 404 appears. What am I doing wrong?
I have integrated the Example module in my Sulu-standard installation. The code I used for the example module is from following repository :
https://github.com/sulu/ExampleNewsBundle
And the steps I followed for integration are from this
http://blog.sulu.io/how-to-develop-a-bundle-in-the-sulu-admin-1
After the installation I am getting this error while loading the JS for the module :
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://beauty_dev.com/en/bundles/examplenews/js/main.js?v=develop"
Error: Script error for: /bundles/examplenews/js/main.js http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#scripterror
var e = new Error(msg + '\nhttp://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#' + id);
Error: Script error for: /bundles/examplenews/js/main.js http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#scripterror
var e = new Error(msg + '\nhttp://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#' + id);
After some research I found that 404 error was due to locale(en) appended in the URL.
Is it possible to remove the locale from the URL?
Any reference will be appreciated.
After adding a new bundle you have to reinstall the assets using the following command:
app/console assets:install --symlink
Symfony doesn't do that automatically, so you have to execute this line, in order for the files to be copied to the web directory. You could also check if the accessed file is available in the web directory, which should be the case after executing the above command.
Regarding the language: You see that because Sulu tries to redirect to the default language if the current URL leads to a 404 and doesn't contain a language.
Are you sure that the files in the web/bundles/examplenews folder exists and you can access from the browser? When the files exists and the webserver returns them correctly the /de will not be prepended.
Hi I am new to symforny2
I have just installed symfony2 on my easyphp server. When I open web directory symfony try to open app.php. For some reason I got this output:
No route found for "GET /"

When I open app_dev.php, everything looks normal.
Why do I get this 404 error on app.php ? Is that normal or is this a bug in symfony2.5.0
(demos in app_dev.php are working well)
Thank You for your support.
Regards
See one of my previous answer: symfony2 - how to switch from "dev" to "prod"?
Symfony wraps multiple environment. When you access the app.php front controller, you're on the prod environment whereas when you access app_dev.php, you're on the dev environment.
Knowing that, the demo bundle shipped with the standard edition is only enable on the dev environment according to the AppKernel. So, it is normal you can access the demo page on the dev front controller and get a 404 on the prod front controller.
I have a file failed.asp in folder abc. Now i want to redirect my user.asp page in folder xyz to page failed.asp when there is a error. When i have my failed.asp in same folder as my user.asp it does not give me error but if i use virtual path in server.transfer it is giving me error. How can i fix this.
Server.Transfer("failed.asp") --Works
Server.Transfer("abc/failed.asp") or Server.Transfer("../abc/failed.asp") --fails saying error when loading file
does not work what is the possible work around for this issue.
Server.Transfer("/abc/failed.asp") should work. Note that the root path starts with a forward slash.
