Sencha Touch bottom bar icons not showing - css

i'm having problems to see the bottom bar icons on a Sencha Touch app.
I'm using compass and scss to style the app.
Actually, after a research i'm using the mixing:
#include pictos-iconmask('home');
to import the icons that are used in the tabbar.
The bar elements are defined i that way:
{
title: 'FAQ',
iconCls: 'star'
},
And seems to be well-defined, in Safari the inspector shows the
-webkit-mask-image:theme_image("default", "pictos/home.png"); property but this is strikethrough. In Chrome the property doesn't appear, what could be the cause of that issue?
The attached image shows both scenarios, at the top Safari and the property that i mentioned. At bottom the bar without the "broken" placeholder that Safari shows.
I found a solution that increments the icons z-index property, but i tried this with no luck.
The workaround is like this:
.x-tabbar > * {
z-index: 999 !important;
}
Any help is appreciated!
EDIT 1: Someone have any idea?

In Sencha Touch 2.4.x you need to do the following :
Install Rub
Compass
Navigate into the app home folder (i.e. to the level of the index.html file)
In Terminal run sencha app watch
Open the resources/sass/app.scss and add the following code:
// This is different in 2.4.x. In earlier versions it was pictos-iconmask as you've indicated you tried in the question.
#include icon('browser');
Your tab panel item should have the iconCls set up like so:
{
.....,
title: 'Favorites',
iconCls: 'heart'
}
Additional (Optional) Step:
Sometimes the iconCls has been commented out in the framework (this has happened to me once before). In that case, go to AppName/touch/resources/themes/stylesheets/sencha-touch/base/mixins/_Class.scss
Search in the file for a line of code that reads :
#else if ($name == "star") { #return "S"; }
Uncomment the line if it's been commented.

Element UI - VueJS - Select Input Double Tap bug on IOS

I have a weird issue on iOS safari or chrome, when trying to select an option from a select input, when i touch the selector, it shows the options correctly on first tap, but then when i try to select an option, i have to tap twice to make it work, this is my actual scenario:
"element-ui": "^2.13.1", "vue": "^2.6.11"
Here is my select input:
<el-select class="select-danger"
placeholder="Language / Idioma"
v-model="locale">
<el-option v-for="option in selects.languages"
class="select-danger"
:value="option.value"
:label="option.label"
:key="option.label">
</el-option>
</el-select>
watch: {
// watch for locale changes
locale: function (value) {
alert("selected")
}
},
This issue seems to happens only on iOS, i tested on android chrome browser and works flawless.
Any ideas of what could be causing this issue?
After looking around for a while i found a workaround in Element UI Github issues, right here:
Element UI Github Issue
Appearently it has to do with the hover state that it's not well managed on iOS, and it's a well known issue, for the case the solution seems to be adding the following SCSS to App.vue :
.el-scrollbar {
> .el-scrollbar__bar {
opacity: 1;
}
}
But somehow in my case this didn't work, so i did it with just css:
/*Fixes double tap on iOS*/
.el-scrollbar__bar {
opacity: 1!important;
}
And that was it, this solved the double tap issue with Element UI.
Hope this helps someone else.

How to get dark themed addressbar search-results

I am using the Firefox Developer Edition theme on MacOS to reduce eye strain while programming.
However, results while typing in the location bar still pop up bright white.
Does anyone know of CSS to have these results use a dark background and light text?
Generally, if you are looking for an add-on which will change this, then a theme would be appropriate. At least one of the themes I use does style the URL Bar's auto-complete results. An extension could also change the styling, if desired. However, given that you are not wanting a completely different theme, just a minor modification to the Developer Edition theme, it is easier to do this yourself by applying CSS to the profile's chrome by placing the CSS in userChrome.css.
To do it for yourself, you need to determine the appropriate elements to style. As is often the case, the add-ons DOM Inspector combined with Element Inspector are quite useful in determining the appropriate elements to style. With those add-ons installed, opening the auto-complete drop-down and Shift-Right-Click results in seeing the DOM for what we want to change:
Thus, we can put the following in the profile's userChrome.css, which needs to be located in the [profile directory]/chrome directory:
/*
* Edit this file and copy it as userChrome.css into your
* profile-directory/chrome/
*/
/*
* This file can be used to customize the look of Mozilla's user interface
* You should consider using !important on rules which you want to
* override default settings.
*/
/*
* Do not remove the #namespace line -- it's required for correct functioning
*/
/* set default namespace to XUL */
#namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult {
background-color:black !important;
-moz-border-top-colors:black !important;
-moz-border-top-colors:black !important;
-moz-border-left-colors:black !important;
-moz-border-right-colors:black !important;
}
#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult .autocomplete-richlistbox {
background-color:black !important;
}
#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult .ac-title-text,
#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult .ac-tags-text,
/*#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult .ac-url-text,*/
#PopupAutoCompleteRichResult .ac-action-text {
color:white;
}
This results in the URL Bar auto-complete having a black background with white text:
Ok, after doing quite a bit of Internet digging, I found probably the only solution, which also isn't really one.
As of writing this, there is no such Plugin/Add-on/Mod for changing the style of the search bar.
However, you could change the source code of Firefox itself. To do so start here: Mozilla Dev GUide. Its mainly written in C & C++. I mean, there really is no option for that.
There are settings, somewhere deep down in Firefox, where you can actually get such an add-on, I couldn't find it tho.
You can turn off the search bar completely, so you get your results on google, after hitting enter.
A thrid option would be, to try another browser. Just check, which browser allows you to style the search bar and apply all the other Dark Themes to that browser later on.
Hope, I didn't make it worse :/

Atom (editor): modify existing theme and save as a new one

I do not want to create the entire theme from the scratch.
I want to use the existing theme.
I want to make some minor style changes (like color) for a few elements.
I don't want to save the changes in the original theme but in its copy.
For example.
I've installed the Bade3 Notepad theme.
I like the notepad++'s highlighting but in find out the grey string are too light.
According to Syntax Highlighting Guide for Atom Syntax Highlighting Guide for Atom I've run Atom in Developer Mode.
I've opened file that contains some quoted string.
Right click some quoted string and select Inspect Element
In the Styles tabs I change the color value in
.string.quoted.php {
color: #8b8b8b;
}
The changes are applied to the real example code so I can adjust color.
Let's say I'm fine with #107000
Now I wish to save this changes.
You can achieve this through your personal style sheet without creating or editing a theme.
Your "stylesheet Ctrl-Shift-P and typing Application: Open Your Style Sheet.
A file will open in Atom that looks similar to this:
// style the background color of the tree view
.tree-view {
// background-color: whitesmoke;
}
// style the background and foreground colors on the atom-text-editor-element itself
atom-text-editor {
// color: white;
// background-color: hsl(180, 24%, 12%);
}
// To style other content in the text editor's shadow DOM, use the ::shadow expression
atom-text-editor::shadow {
// Add Your Styles Here
}
In the area between atom-text-editor::shadow { (line 13) and the closing } (line 15) add you changed styles:
.string.quoted.php { color: #8b8b8b; }
Save the Stylesheet and check it is working as expected in your editor, no need to reload or restart the editor.
Note: if you have the Use Shadow DOM check box unchecked in Atom Settings, accessed through Ctrl-,, then you will need to put your styles between atom-text-editor { (line 7) and the closing } (line 10). Try and work with Atom with the Shadow DOM enabled as the option to disable it will go away in future versions.
Here is a short animation to go through the steps I took to get this to work in Atom 1.8 Beta:

Eclipse Jeeeyul Chrome Theme: CSS for background

I am trying to edit my colour scheme for Eclipse. (Windows!)
I seem to be unable to change the following white areas in the image below.
I know the following code works for certain areas:
.MPart Tree, .MPart Table{
background-color:black;
color: white;
}
If anybody could redirect me to a website containing everything css property or post some code I would be thankful!
The windows I want changed are the ones below in white!
Those white areas are governed by source code styling. Easiest way to change them is to use other plugin like Eclipse Color Theme. If you want to create your own theme you can modify a theme file or use http://www.eclipsecolorthemes.org/
You can also change them manually using Window -> Preferences and then Java -> Editor -> Syntax Coloring.

How to change default background in Sencha Touch 2

When you start a new project in Sencha Architect, it gives you this off white background (#eeeeee). Naturally, like any site or app, you can swipe higher or lower than the actual content, so this off white color shows.
I want to change this background color. I'm able to change the Containers or Panels so that isn't the problem. I also tried applying a Cls to the Viewport or using the Style or HTML config of the Viewport with no luck.
Does anyone know the Cls for this so I can override it or have any other ways to do this? It's like it's the final background behind everything.
There's one css var defined to change default background color. It's $page-bg-color.
You can find it inside nearly at bottom-
....\touch\resources\themes\stylesheets\sencha-touch\default_variables.scss
Default value is set for #eee. As it's a css var, it might have referenced in various places. So adding a class with custom background to each and every element will not be good. Better override it through scss itself.
You'd need to define your own *.scss file and compile it. In this *.scss file, you can override almost every css property. In your case, set $page-bg-color:#whatever and recompile it.
Hope you are familiar with using compass and scsss, if not then there's quick start guide on http://vimeo.com/36917216.
If you wants to use Cls means
Ext.define("VUCFyn.view.MemberHome", {
extend: 'Ext.Panel',
xtype: 'memberhome',
fullscreen:true,
config: {
cls : 'booked-seats', // inside config use like this
and You have specify the design in index.html file
.booked-seats {
background-color: #DEFCE2;
},
Try it will work .. i tried like this..
