Drupal 7 creating a custom form for content publishing - drupal

I want to know how I can create a form that will be displayed in any block for publishing content from a specific content type.
Thanks

You can install formblock module and follow these steps :
Activate formfblock form module list
Go to the admininstration page of the contenttype from which the 'add' form should be made available as a block. Exple : Article
Go to the 'Form block' section. Check the box "[] Enable data entry from a block" as it says in the description this will 'make the entry form for this content type available as a block.'
Visit the block administration page to enable and configure the block containing the form.
PS : Only users with permission to create the given content type will see the block.
You can also have a look on panels or Display Suite module if you want more customization.
Hope that can help you !

Drupal 8 migrated fields in content type not showing in View module

I used migrate module to convert my site from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8.9.x. The content types and contents got migrated correctly. However when I try to create a view using a specific content type, I am unable to see the fields. Explaining the steps i followed:
Migrated content and content type from Drupal 7 to 8.9.x using
migrate module
Example content type: funding fieldname: duedate
Created a view based on content type.
But after clicking "Add field" when searched for duedate, the field does not show up. in-fact any content type based field not showing up in the "Add field" dialog box
Same case with "Add filter" dialog box also.
Fix tried:
Went into funding content type and checked if the fields are enabled. Everything is enabled correctly
Checked text format and full text enabled correctly.
Any help on how this can be fixed?
I noticed the same problem after migrating from drupal7 to drupal9. Text Fields using the format "Full HTML" did not show their contents in any display modes or views field output.
My solution was to temporarily allow the usage of Full HTML for anonymous users in /admin/config/content/formats. After seeing the field content I resetted the permissions of the editor format FULL HTML for security reasons (this time in /admin/people/permissions).
I suppose that the permission changes forced a permission correction.

How do I add a module to the text of a basic page in drupal 7?

How do I add a module to the text of a basic page in drupal 7 ?
I need some help. I am having some problems with the drupal donations module
I have done this before on this web site
http://www.arguemax.com/_drupal-7.26/content/donate-using-paypal
But now I can;t remember how I did this.
How do I put this module on a page I am creating? When I go to create the page, there does not seem to be an option to past complex tables or controls on it. I just has a large empty text area to edit the body of the text
I thnhk this is a simple thing.
I was able to find the setting for
Home >> Adminstration >> Configuration >> Web Services == PalPal donation
and that set up the control
So I know it is ready to plop into the page
How do I plop it into the page? I remember there was something like a button bar associated with the text editor for the page that allowed me to add complex items like tables and like this particular module.
As can be read in that module's Documentation, the module creates two blocks.
The steps you need to follow:
Create an empty node of any content type. You can alter the URL and attach it to a menu item as well.
Go to admin/structure/block and find the blocks your module provides.
Hit "configure" on one or both of them.
In each block's settings, in the "pages" section (bottom of your screen) select "Only the listed pages" and enter the url of the empty page you created before.

Drupal 7: Add view to content type

I've been making a template for a particular content type, but just ran into a problem: I need to embed a view into the content type.
I am aware this can be done via several different methods, but I don't see one that fits exactly my needs:
I need the view added automatically for all pages of that content type.
Using blocks in a region is not an option, as I want to avoid defining a region in the middle of a page that should only be available for a specific content type.
Translatable label.
Possibility to freely apply a template to all fields in the content type (excluding the embedded view).
I tried doing it via page layout (Panels) and simply adding node content fields and the view to my layout regions, but then I get another problem: I can't style my content fields without doing something that seems a bit over the top:
Currently I have about 20 different content fields in the content type that are wrapped in HTML and styled in my template file. I have a translated label for each of these in the template file. From what I can tell I'd have to add a template for each of the panes containing content fields to add my translated labels and HTML needed to style each field.
I'm not really fond of making 20 templates, 20 theme hook suggestions to get the templates to work and 20 regions in the panel layout just to get a view inserted in the content type.
Am I doing something terribly wrong here? Any suggestions?
You may want to try the Viewfield module or similar modules (search for "view field" or "view reference").
If you are doing something more complex like changing/filtering the view based on some value in your content type, then you may have to use Viewfield module in combination with something else that will help fill in the filter values.
I've never done something like this before so I'm not sure exactly what module combination would work but Rules or Computed Field come to mind as possible helpers.
You have to use "views node field" http://drupal.org/project/viewsnodefield, after installing this module you have to select the "Node content" in the display (like blocks, page). then click the add display. if you want to display the content like this page http://www.richtown.ae/?q=content/arabian-ranches then you have to download the views_galleriffic module and install it and choose the style option "Galleriffic Gallery". You can choose the content type by using the filter in the views.
That's it cheers
i implemented this in my website richtown.ae
if you still unclear please send me the email social#richtown.ae i will reply you & ready to help you we can share information
i am using this module in drupal 6.
I resorted to using the EVA module ( http://drupal.org/project/eva ).
In addition to Woodgnome's answer
Let's say you have a content type named 'Product'
You want to attach a view to it.
Here are the steps using the eva module :
On your view edit page :
Section Displays
+Add : Eva field
Section ENTITY CONTENT SETTINGS
Entity type:Node
Bundles:Product
That's it, going to a node product type will now display the view

Drupal 7 link node to basic page

Ok I'll try to explain a little better.
I have created a view to display 3 items of a certain content type on homepage.
When I click each piece of content it takes me to actual content eg node22.
I need to be able to change this so when content on homepage is clicked it goes to a specific url alias I have already setup eg contact us page.
Any idea what I need to achieve this??
We really need more info on your view to answer this but here are some thoughts.
If your display type is content the title automatically links to the node page so I will assume this is not what your issue is.
If you are using fields view just select the checkbox that says: "Link this field to the original piece of content". It is available in most "node" fields such as nid and title.
From above your example is how to "link node 49 to education page" You may be just needing the path module for that. Enable the core path module and then visit the node page you want to set a custom url for. Their should be a tab called "URL Path Settings" at the bottom of the page. Spice those up a bit more by downloading and installing the path auto module and the node url wil automatically be set when you create it.

Drupal 7: Adding a 'Add New Listing' (Create Content) Link on Local Tasks Menu

I am working on making user pages for a certain type of user who can add/edit/delete content on my Drupal site. I've figured out how to use Views to create a 'Manage Listings' tab which appears on the user's profile, now I need to make another Local Task tab (or any kind of link) that allows the user to add new content.
I tried just adding a header to the view using basic markup text that contains:
Add New Listing
But because the link is displayed from the 'users/admin/' page, the link ends up bringing them to 'users/admin/node/add/' which doesn't exists (obviously). How can I create a create content link without messing up the path?
Below is a visual for help:
Please excuse the fact that this is a very simple question - this is my first attempt at building a Drupal site.
use /node/add instead because then it is relative to url instead.
