Can someone help me enable Show/Hide button for columns in TreeTableView?
In the above documentation it is showing the screenshot for the same but I am not able to enable it.

We try to implement a app with login and register feature.
But I do know how to remove those two button after a user login.
We use a toolbar to contain those two.
Just remove the items from the toolbar. For example:
toolbar.getItems().remove(button);
You can remove the items like James said with
toolbar.getItems().remove(button);
or just hide the button with
button.setVisible(false);
How do you force Combobox dropdowns to stay open even when other Alert boxes appear. Looking at what to subclass from mx.Combobox, there doesn't seem to be much that i can do to short of implementing an entire combobox from scratch.Thx

I want to create an application in which i will create a button and by pressing that button as list of options will open and i can choose one of them.for example i will create a button named "searching algorithm" and by clicking this button a list will open at same place which display two options as linear search and binary search.can anyone give me an idea how to do that?
You want a QComboBox:
The QComboBox widget is a combined button and popup list.
I believe what you need is a popup window where you can have list of options, whenever your button is clicked show this window, hide it when user selects an item in the list or clicks outside of the working area. There is an example you can use as a reference:

i am new to QT,i want to know how to customize the listview in QT i.e i want to add multiple icon in single row.. etc.. i tried lot i am not getting how to do that..
i tried with Qlistwidget, in tat i can only insert single row with one image.. i am not able to place multiple icon with desired locations..
please assist me, which control is good listview or listwidget.
and how to customize the same according to my view

You can implement a delegate to customize the rendering of the items in your view.
From the model/view programming docs: delegates are responsible for rendering individual items in the views.
See the pixelator sample for example usage.
Take a look at QTableView or QTableWidget. You can insert the icons in the first two columns and the text in the third column. Or any other way you like it.
I guess you can use some delegates.

My need is to build an Extjs TriggerField implementation which open on trigger click a Panel with a custom loaded page inside...
example: When I click the trigger button I what to open a panel specifying an url as /Views/Test/Blabla.aspx and then storing the selection in the trigger field value.
I hope someone could help me

There is an example which pops up a Panel in your examples directory under examples/form/forum-search.html
It's based on a ComboBox (But it configures it to hide the trigger button)
