google forms prepopulate auto-increment id - google-forms

Trying to get a google form to perform a neat trick. I need the form to pull the last entry ID(a field in the spreadsheet) and auto-increment it. I need the auto-incremented ID to display in the form for client reference. So I need a pre-populated auto-incremented # before form submit.
Any suggestions?

Can I alter the code and name user fileds of an user table in SAP Business One

When you create a user table, the Code and Name fields are always created by default and I was wondering if I could eliminate the Name field and leave the Code field but as a primary key and of type int for example without this affecting subsequent version updates.
Or altering this would cause problems of some kind?
Thanks.
That's not possible, if you did it that would terminate support form SAP.

Magnolia detail subapp commit action

I'm on magnolia 6.2.15 and I need to generate data from some fields that users insert in a content detail subapp.
I thought about creating a subclass of magnolia "SaveDetailSubAppAction", in the "execute" method to do the job.
I can retrieve fields value but, how can I generate new fields data values and insert that in the form before validation and commit to jcr datasource?
Well you can't. Or rather you shouldn't. The form is means for user to enter the data. If you create data programatically, you either send it directly to the datasource or store it directly on the node that datasource operates on.
If you want to show generated data to user for approval prior saving, then you need to create custom field that would have the place for extra input and would react on user generated input directly prior to saving content.

How to ensure that the username that is auto-populated does not get replaced by another one in InfoPath

I have an approve and reject form having three views. In the first view i.e the requester's view I auto-populate the requester name by using "GetUserProfileByName". Now I also want to auto populate the name of the user who approves the form in a different view (but this view also has the requester's name)- so I was wondering if I actually use "GetUserProfileByName" again won't it change the first name too (i.e the requester's name). I don't have other accounts to test it out.
Can someone please provide a workaround to this problem
So basically I want this to happen:- For example when John enters the form his name should be auto populated in the requester's name field. And once this form is send to Michelle who approves it - the approver's name field should have been autopopulated with Michelle's name.
How can I avoid overwriting of data.
Thank you for helping
Add fields to the form data source to store the data returned from GetUserProfileByName service. Do not use default values for the values in these fields. Instead, I generally use form load rules for this - run the query, and then, if the requester field is blank, set the field to the user's name from the datasource.
When the approved view is submitted, you can take a similar approach with the approver name field - if it is blank, set it.

I want to fetch submitted gravityform entries into another gravityform (wordpress)

Suppose I made form A and form B, I get a unique ID after submitting form A after that, another person opened form B and he entered just a unique ID given by me and enter additional information and submit it, then he might see the name and email ID that I entered in form A.
Please guide me to do this, also tell me if there is any form plugin or gravityform addon for this.
Now, in this case, I am trying to fetch submitted entries from form A to form B by using a unique ID that I created. (for unique ID I have a plugin so no worries about it)

asp.net 1.1 duplicated submission entries

I've got an old framework 1.1 project with the following problem: if user submits a page then in database duplicated records might appear. This error repeats often but is not consistent: in most cases there are no duplicated entries but in some cases there can be upto 4 of them. We disable submit button with JavaScript after first submission.
May be this would be helpful: there is a session object used to store user inputs (which are submitted).
Any scenarios you can think of why duplicated records can happen?
Many thanks
Finally I found that some mobile browsers ignored JavaScript that disabled submission button and users managed to resubmit form multiple times.
The easiest (?) solution to this is the following:
Create a table "SubmissionTokens" in database with two fields: Token (uniqueidentifier), DateCreated (DateTime). Then, when page with submission form loads, add a token to database and save "id" value in a hidden field on the same page. When user submits the form then read token from the hidden field and see if token exists in table SubmissionTokens. If it does exist then insert a new record with form data in the database and delete the token from SubmissionTokens. You can also use DateCreate field to expire tokens.
At work I implemented a bit different solution and just look for duplicated records in the database before inserting a new record. But this is because there is a specific requirement that user must be able to resubmit form if he clicks "back" in browser. In this case the SubmissionToken is already deleted and the first solution wouldn't work.
