Meteorjs configure phantomjs for deploy to meteor.com - meteor

I have installed phantomjs with the binaries w home brew
brew update && brew install phantomjs
I have installed it with npm and also installed it w `mrt add phantomjs``
Then I have installed spiderable package
When I visit my page on localhost with /?_scaped_fragment=
I get the correct html code of my app
But when I deploy the app ( I sue the default meteor servers for deploy) when I visit mysite/?_scaped_fragment=
I get empty code, no html really, so what Im missing ? I also have uninstalled fastrender and reinstalled the packages.

By default Meteor deploy hosting already has phantomjs installed. (If you want to deploy to meteor.com via meteor deploy).
All you have to do is install spiderable, not phantomjs. The phantomjs package you installed via mrt is not necessary. Nor is phantomjs via brew
meteor add spiderable
meteor deploy yoursite.meteor.com
Then visit your site.meteor.com/?_scaped_fragment=

Meteor npm install not properly installing packages

I'm having a weird issue where, upon starting a clean build of an app which was working previously, and running meteor npm install then meteor, I get a bunch of errors:
I suspect that for some reason, meteor npm install isn't running properly. I've reinstalled meteor, run meteor reset, and nothing seems to work.

meteor requires npm install on each new machine

I just cloned my meteor github repo to a new machine and now I have to npm install some packages again. I thought that they are part of the meteor app once I have them installed. (and I checked. they are in the node_modules folder and listed in the packages.json). Nonetheless, I get the error:
Can't find npm module 'react'. Did you forget to call 'Npm.depends' in package.js witin the 'modules-runtime'package?
I am running meteor 1.3.1

is there any way to install smart.json dependencies using meteor cli?

Since Meteor 0.9.0 it's posible to install dependencies from atmospherejs just using the meteor cli without install meteorite package manager.
However, is it posible to install all the dependencies declared in smart.json file without install meteorite (i.e. just using meteor cli)?
Thanks in advance.
smart.json is no longer used since Meteor 0.9. The dependencies of an app are stored in .meteor/packages, and are automatically installed when you run meteor run, and when the app restarts automatically after its files are changed. That is, the meteor tool will update the package catalog and install updated packages automatically.

meteor won't start becaus it is missing npm

I just checked out my meteor project from github and tried to run it, but now meteor doesn't want to start, telling me that npm is missing
I start my project as follows:
$> MONGO_URL='mongodb://localhost:27017/meteor' mrt
...
=> Started proxy.
=> Errors prevented startup:
While building the application:
error: no such package: 'npm'
=> Your application has errors. Waiting for file change.
In my project I use npm like
var fs = Npm.require('fs');
What I don't understand is why it doesn't work. I tried to install npm
$> mrt add npm
but that didn't fixed it. Any suggestions what the problem might be ?
When you run the app with meteor command it only uses the packages installed locally in the /packages folder and built-in Meteor packages. To also install the atmosphere packages, you should run the app with mrt command. Alternatively, you could run mrt install, which downloads the atmosphere packages to the /packages directory, and thus allows you to start the app with meteor.

"Error: not opened" when trying to install Meteorite packages

Meteorite installs great (I have to use sudo -H npm install -g meteorite as Meteorite's install instructions recommend), and I can then use it to install standard Meteor packages in my projects, e.g. mrt add jquery. But if I try to install any packages from Atmosphere, e.g. mrt add router or mrt add font-awesome, I get this output:

mrt run works properly though! I'm on Meteor v0.6.3.1 and Meteorite v0.5.1. Would appreciate any ideas, thanks!
Check your node version.
As of today (May 26, 2013), I can replicate this error perfectly (I get the same error message) when I use node v0.10.8.
However, with node node-v0.9.9 the mrt add command works.
The other parts of my environment are:
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64
mrt --version
Meteorite version 0.5.1
This is an issue specifically with Node 0.10.8
https://github.com/oortcloud/meteorite/issues/135
I was able to fix the issue by first removing node using these instructions. One exception is I had issues using nvm to install node so I used a package instead:
How do I completely uninstall Node.js, and reinstall from beginning (Mac OS X)
You'll find links to download installer package for the 0.10.7 version of node for all os' here:
http://blog.nodejs.org/2013/05/17/node-v0-10-7-stable/
After the install do a node -v to check the version. If it doesn't look right try a restart. I had to reboot in order to get mine happy for some reason.
If you continue to have issues after reinstalling node then try removing and reinstalling meteorite and meteor. Hope this helps someone having the same issue.
