we are using google maps api v3 in our web application, but it started to display message about exceeding daily quota. But I looked in developers console and I cannot find any message about this, or any graph. When I take a look on numbers for maps api we have around 5000 every day. Is there any way how I can get to quota which we exceed? Some more info? Are there any other quotas?
Thank you
What I've found is a graph you can see if you're going to the google developer console.
Under this link all your projects are listed, when you're logged in. Select the project you want and you'll see a graph with requests on the used APIs by this project with possible billing an more informations.
EDIT
Also Google observes the google-api tag here, add this tag to your Question and maybe you'll get official help.

For some reason PowerBI does not accept GA4 as a connection, so my data is stuck in GA4.
PowerBI does support Universal Analytics (UA), but I cannot find a way to convert my GA property.
Is there a way to do this or should I start over again and create a new property as UA?
PowerBI currently doesn't support GA4 as a destination because the underlying api is not product ready yet. See the response in the microsoft power BI community here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Power-BI-Google-Analytics/td-p/1679530
For information about the api's and their current state:
This is a link to the api documentation the plugin is using (for universal analytics): https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/v4
This is a link to the api documentation of GA4 (which is still in beta): https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1
Regarding a solution for your issue:
In GA4 is it possible to export data to big query, which can be processed there and imported to PowerBI: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-bigquery
The export only works from the moment you enable it, so it is not possible to access the data this way before the enablement.
Second option is using data studio to connect to your GA4 data to be able to access the data you have measured before.
First off as everyone says you cant change the type of your Google analytics account if it was created as UA then its UA if it was created as GA4 then its GA4. There is also no way to exxport data.
Now lets look at the underlying cause of your problem Google analytics connector in Power BI Desktop rely on the Google Analytics Core Reporting API this API is used to extract data from Google Analytics UA accounts. There is a very big difference between the underlying data structure of a UA account and a GA4 account they are not completable in any way shape or form.
Thats why the Google analytics team is currently developing the Google analytics data api This api has the ability to connect to Google analytics GA4 accounts and extract data. At the time this post was created Power BI Google Analytics The Google analytics data api had just been released and was still in alpha test phase as you can see from the change log this API is still under development. I haven't checked but it looks like it may even be out of beta now. (TBH I am not really sure of the exact date it was released publicly as I have been in the alpha test group for a long time.)
However that being said a lot of the client libraries used by this api are still under development as well Google .Net Client library for Google Analytics Data API for example is still in beta. At the time that post was written i am almost 100% sure the client library had not been released.
This means that any power bi connector is probably not going to be released until both the API and the client library are considered stable. I know the team is working hard on the API and I Haven't seen any breaking changes in a very long time.
So to the user who added a bounty to this looking for an updated answer.
IMO I don't think you have long to wait before everything is stable enough for applications like the Power BI to start appearing that support GA4. That is assuming that someone creates one.
You can't covert GA4 to UA (or UA to GA4).
In your case you can create a new UA Property and start to track in it:

That error message means that you have exceeded the number of free usage attempts on google maps service. you free daily quota will reset after midnight.
So if you would like to override that and keep using google maps you will need to add billing information for this project to continue to use Google Maps Platform.
See this:
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geocoding/intro#StatusCodes
and this for more details:
https://developers.google.com/maps/premium/previous-licenses/articles/usage-limits
Now, Google Maps requires you to enable a billing account, even if you will never exhaust your free quota. You can set up the billing account in your google cloud console.
I have a list of around 500 foundations and companies and i need to fetch more data like address, description, lat long, email or phone number, from the google and FB APIs I have found something more or less like this, but it won't work in OpenRefine, i need some help please.
I think it is possible to do beacause there is an addon called spotlight for spreadsheets that is able to fetch Google URLs and Lat Long https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj1v3QfyrgA&feature=youtu.be
https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/findplacefromtext/output?parameters/json?input=value&inputtype=textquery&fields=photos,formatted_address,name,rating,email,geometry&key=YOURKEY
I have created the FB and Google places and google staic map API already. I have tried different queries, but it won't work unless it is in GREL
value.parseJson().geonames[0].lng
value.parseJson().geonames[0].geonameId
value.parseJson().geonames[0].lat
From the error "This API project is not authorized to use this API" the first thing to check is that you have enabled the Places and/or Geocoding API in the Google Developer console, and you have setup an API Key and that it is showing as a credential for the Places API and/or the Geocoding API
Next step, take OpenRefine out of the equation and check you can get a simple API call working in your browser - using one of the Google Places API examples:
https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/findplacefromtext/json?input=Museum%20of%20Contemporary%20Art%20Australia&inputtype=textquery&fields=photos,formatted_address,name,rating,opening_hours,geometry&key=<INSERT YOUR API KEY HERE>
If that gives you the same error, you know the issue is not with OpenRefine.
If you are still having problems in OpenRefine make sure you are creating URLs in OpenRefine that are valid for the appropriate Google API based on the documentation for that API and that you are using the correct API key.
Since yesterday, we have trouble getting data from the Analytics API for AdSense related metrics (ga:adsensePageImpressions, ga:adsenseAdsViewed, ga:adsenseCoverage etc.). Other metric like ga:sessions are still working.
Is this some permission problem?
From the main account, I can log into Analytics, and I do see current AdSense (Publisher) data.
.NET, Google.Apis.Analytics.V3 1.20.0.642 (up to date), Google.Apis.AnalyticsReporting.v4 1.20.0.698.
Tried with V3 and V4, same error.
We are using a service account that has permission to access Analytics data.
I’ve checked AdSense, Analytics, and API Management settings, but cannot find anything related.
Any suggestions?
It looks like they have updated Analytics API and it's no longer possible to call API with AdSense/Publisher metrics for Analytics properties that do not have linked AdSense account.
Unfortunately, in cases where there are hundreds of sites and where some of the sites have AdSense, and other do not, you have to create different API calls for those two groups.
I am using Google Maps API v3 in a Web.
And also I am using:
new google.maps.Geocoder(); (GEOCODING)
new google.maps.DirectionsService(); (DIRECTIONS for trace routes between 2 places)
Then I went to API Developers Console and create a KEY and I call the Google service in this way usin the key:
http://maps.google.es/maps/api/js?key='the-key-from-api-console'&sensor=true
The intent of this is to keep track of the use of apis to watch that I do not pass the limits of use.
In the API console Google reports me ok about the use of the javascript API v3 counting the number of visits, the number of loads of the maps even the URL of the pages that use the maps.
I can see that my use of this service does not exceed 25,000 requests / day
But i need reports of the use of GEOCODING and DIRECTIONS too and Google is not reporting me this info. In developers console I activated the Directions API, the Geocoding API and Google Maps JavaScript API v3. But I only get reports of Maps JavaScript API v3.
Report of Directions API and the Geocoding API stay always at 0%. It is as if Google is not using this report.
Could it be that the service should be contracted to have this data or to be other types of APIS enable the console in order to have use of this report?
I've been trying to find information clarifying this for me but I found nothing that completely solved my doubt.
Thanks in advance.
When you use both services via the methods of the Javascript-API the limits apply to the user that visits the page with the map, the quota of your account is not affected(so there is nothing to count/report for your account/project)
It applies to your account only when you request the webservices(usually via serverside scripts).
