I don't understand on how to access to the bundled database. Do I need to go to a certain url to open an interface and log in? Or is it from cmd?
Must I do the configuration first, assited in alfresco community help page??
Thank you so much!
If Alfresco is installed on your local desktop, you should be able to easily connect with pgadmin. This you can download separately, or find in the Alfresco bundle, under the postgresql directory.
If Alfresco is installed on a remote server, then you will need to expose the Posgresql port, which 5432 is the default, through any firewalls that may exist. Then you will need to configure Postgresql to allow remote connections.

I am developing an application in ember. I would host it locally in a machine using mangoose webserver after production. Now I need to store data for the application (json is most welcome) even in file database. I need a serverless local database without internet. I should not install node.js or any other software for database because the machine in which is going to be hosted has not given any provision for installation. The database or file must be directly acccessible from js. I have viewed about sqlite3 but i found no useful js library to connect without node.js. How could I achieve it. Guide me please.
Thanks in advance
I been trying to figure out how can I migrate my site from AWS-Lightsail to another hosting provider. Normally I would just download all the files from my file directory then upload them to the new hosting provider but I can't even access my files through AWS Lightsail.
Can someone please help me figure out how to download the contents of my WordPress site/database so I can switch hosting providers?
The recommended method to upload / download files to / from Amazon Lightsail is using SFTP. There are several SSH based file browsers. I work with Windows so I use Bitvise. From the Amazon Lightsail Console download your SSH Keypair.
Follow the documentation for your SSH / SFTP client and setup the SSH Keypair and then connect to your instance. You can then upload / download files.
Use a WordPress backup and restore program such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/ . The free version does perfect backup and restores from one host to another. Maybe get a technician to help you if you don't feel comfortable with it. This seems to be a ServerFault issue though?
It is not clear from the JFrog documentation, if the HA deployment of Artifactory can be made using the embedded Derby database or it must always be external DB?
Artifactory requires and external database when installed in HA mode. This requirement is specified in the HA installation and setup document as part of the requirements section.
The reason for such a requirement is that all cluster nodes are sharing the same database and this cannot be done with the embedded derby.

It sounds like the Umbraco installation is assuming it is a new installation and then creates a new database for you.
You need to download the website files directly from the server and place those in a folder which can be served by a webserver on your local machine. Then you need to get a backup of the database on the server and restore this on a SQL server on your local machine.
When this is done, you need to make sure the connectionstring in the web.config of the site is set up correct to match where you have restored the database on your local SQL server. Search for umbracoDbDsn and make sure the server name, credentials and database name is correct.
When this is done, you should be able to start up the site and hopefully it will run just as it did on the server.
I have successfully installed Apigility to a remote CentOS server. It tell me to go to http://localhost:8888 to access the admin panel. This server does not have a GUI installed so I don't have the ability to remote in to use a web browser. Is there a workaround to access the Apigility interface remotely, possibly restricting access to my IP address? If not do I have to install it on my local machine and then deploy my work to the remote server?
You could add a .htaccess
file
to set a password on it
If you're deploying to AWS you should be able to configure your SecurityGroup to only allow request to your installation if you're trying to access it.
if you want to develop your application right now I would recommend to have a local installation in a docker container or so to perform your changes. If you're going live you shouldn't change anything in the admin surface either.
centOS server using terminal if i am right. The best way to do this with centOs server in terminal is to open port 8888 to the public and access the server from another system serverIP:8888 (using tools like firewalld in the centOs server. U will have to install firewalld) https://www.rootusers.com/how-to-open-a-port-in-centos-7-with-firewalld/
