Bootstrap row aligned too high - css

I have been trying this problem for quite a while but I haven't found a solution yet.
I have build this site with Bootstrap including two containers. Something is going wrong for the last row in the last container (it has #bottombar). For some reason it is aligned on top of the parent row. Any help would be appreciated!

In your stylesheet you have the tablecontent class, which sets the height of tablecontent to 150px. That will make the bottombar appear 150px below the title. Remove the
height: 150px;
from your .tablecontent CSS class and you should be fine.

Angular Material: Mat-Card restrict height for display

I have layout where on left side there is a mat-table - which is restricted in its height to 4 rows and on the right side a mat-card. The idea is to display the content of a selected row next to the table. Basically it should look like:
I put the two items in a grid layout. The problem I'm facing? If the mat-card-content is far too much it goes over the boundary and looks quite nasty:
I tried to fix it but didn't succeed. How to fix it for this layout? If there is some kind math required for the CSS I would appreciate if the calculation can be tracked - since I need it little bit different in my project.
UPDATE: Forgotten the link for the code
I just add this class and worked!
mat-card-content {
overflow-y: scroll;
max-height: 80px;
}
you can change max-height as much as you want.

Cannot center text in HTML/CSS

The problem is (which you can see in the pictures below) that the "doner", "Wallet", and "Amount" aren't centered on the page.
I've tried changing the margin and padding and moving divs around and etc, but nothing seems to be working and I don't understand what is wrong or how to fix it. (it is hard to see in the code snippet because it's not full screen so I'm just going to give a link to the HTML here)
The only issue I can find is when I inspect element on google chrome. When I hover my mouse over <div class="container"> (the one underneath div class="learn-more">) It shows that the div container is wider on the right side, but I can't find why!
Thanks for the help! If you need any clarification please ask, I couldn't find anything to fix my problem online so I came here.
Here's a picture of what I mean as well:
The essential problem with your code is the markup. You're using the Bootstrap & putting some div directly inside the container & then another container inside this div. See what I mean:
Here are the first three rules from the 3rd Bootstrap documentation you should follow when building your HTML:
Rows must be placed within a .container (fixed-width) or
.container-fluid (full-width) for proper alignment and padding.
Use rows to create horizontal groups of columns.
Content should be placed within columns, and only columns may be
immediate children of rows.
So, my suggestion is to revise your HTML layout and use the Bootstrap as it intended instead of applying some hacks.
Start from rearranging containers in the way that the content would be put inside columns and all of the wrappers would be outside of the containers or inside the columns.
put your content that you want to center in a div like
<div class="box">your content...</div>
in your css file just add this :
.box{
display:inline-block;
position:relative;
left:50%;
transform:translateX(-50%);
}
you can also use a float left for your 3 titles and set the same witdh and height for the three with text-center proprety

Responsive element transition

Hi I don't know how to solve this...
I want the element marked with a red rectangle in the images to move depending on the size of the screen ALIGNED to the containers below ALL THE TIME. I'm making a responsive website with the different media screen instances but I want to be sure that this element keeps in the same alignment all the time. How do I do that? No JS please.

since you haven't provided any code for what you have so far its difficult to help you. However, I think I understand what you need and you need to specify some width constraints to accomplish this:
you will need a container inside the header that will have the same width as the content below. Here is a working fiddle
css {
width: X%;
}

How do I keep images the same height/width when displaying them in a row in a responsive grid?

I have a %-based grid with a fixed-width (for the moment). The code is based off of this css-tricks article: http://css-tricks.com/dont-overthink-it-grids/
Works great until I have a column that has multiple responsive images in it that are the same size and need to be stacked next to each other (floated). Because of padding issues and what-not, I can not get all three images to come out the same width and height, despite the fact that they start that way. The last one is always taller. Here is a codepen showing the issue: http://codepen.io/joshmath/pen/dEuIv
Any help with this would be really appreciated. I've run into this issue before and always just end up hacking my way through it on a case-by-case basis. Thanks!
For whatever reason, if you remove the padding-right: 0 style from the last element, it fixes the issue.
It looks like you're trying to add spacing between the elements using padding. What I tried instead using the Chrome dev tools was to use a margin instead of padding, and then slightly reducing the width of your elements to around 29.5%. That seemed to work.
just add the following to your css. set the size to whatever you like and all images within your grid will remain that size, if they need to grow / shrink use height/width percents instead.
.grid img
{
width: 350px;
height: 400px;
}

Is there a way to specify overflow in CSS?

I have been using a lot of position:relative; in my design, I just find it the easiest way to get everything where I need them to be.
However, the more items I add on my site (each one with their individual div) each one ends up further and further at the bottom of my page, so I have to manually position them higher.
This leaves a lot of empty space at the bottom, and I thought that adding height: 1000px; would limit the scrolling a bit, but this method doesn't seem to work.
I've even tried adding height: 1000px; to the wrapper and it's still not working.
How can I limit vertical scrolling, to the number of pixels I choose?
Thanks so much in advance.
Wait, so you are creating a div, using position relative to move the content of the div to the correct location, and the issue being that the div tag itself is still in the same place and creating a vertical scroll even though there is no content there?
If so you should look into floats.
Here are some tutorials.

You can specify both the height and the overflow:
.someClass
{
height:1000px;
overflow:scroll;
}
The most common values for overflow are scroll, auto, and hidden.
To limit the distance someone can scroll, I think you'd need to use JavaScript. I'm not sure how, but I can't think of anything in CSS that would do that.
If you are looking to set when something should scroll instead of just be cut off or expand the tag, use overflow:auto;.
