I need to add a suffix text to the price of a woocommerce product while on WooCommerce cart.
Based on How to add suffix text to price in WooCommerce cart and checkout page? answer, so I'm trying to adapt that code to recognize product categories.
I am also using has_product_categories() custom conditional function from this answer.
Here is my code:

Sadly I keep getting the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function has_product_categories()
I haven't been able to either combine the two (as in including the suffix one here) or adapt this one to the suffix text one.
Any clue what I'm missing?
Short version: How do I get upsell for variable product in Woocommerce?
Longer version:
I need the product ids for upsells.
My old code contains depracated code:
$upsells = $product->get_upsells(); // $product is instace of WC_Product_Variable::
The call should be the following:
$upsells = $product->get_upsells_ids(); // $product is WC_Product::
But a different class.
I tried to get the parent instance using wc_get_product($product->get_parent_id()) - but fail.
So, given the instance of WC_Product_Variable how do I get to the parent method WC_Product::$product->get_upsells_ids() ??

The get_upsells-ids() method does not exist. Try get_upsell_ids().

I have tested the code and it works. The snippet goes into your child theme's functions.php file.
I have created a product page template using Elementor page builder. I have also created custom field for the product where I select the months in which product is not available for sale code I am using is mentioned below. My issue is when I am using theme default template it does show the message "product not available" if its not available for that selected month but when I use elementor created template it does not show the error message and I am not able to find a way to show message there. If anyone knows how to do it please let me know.

I have created a advance custom field using ACF wordpress plugin to check if the product is available for this month or not. The code I am using is below but when it does work to point where it shows add to cart button if the product is available for that month if not then shows the message.
Now the issue is when product is available to purchase if I click on add to cart it says "Sorry, this product cannot be purchased." I am not able to find what is wrong with it.

Try to change this line of code:
$months = (array) get_field('availability');
to:
$months = (array) get_field('availability', $product->get_id());
The get_field function doesn`t know from which product to get, so this will be an empty array. The variable $purchasable will always be false when this happens.
I am working on a plugin for woocommerce and came across the hook "woocommerce_variation_price_html" which allows you to hook into the variation prices drop down on single products. So created a quick function to test and have a play:

The above works nicely and removes all data. However i am trying to add custom meta_data to replace the default values.
So i then did the following:

return $var_price;

This for some reason does not work? Has anyone had any experience working with this hook in woocommerce? There is not much documentation on that hook anywhere.

As already indicated that you can read here about filters for html.
Maybe you have Sale price set for variation? Then in link you can see that there are total of 4 filters. For: price, sale price, free and no price.
This code works

By looking at WooCommerce source code, I see that woocommerce_variation_price_html is a filter, not an action. I don't know how you managed to get your sample code to work like that... weird.
