I want to access .css file in FTL for generating PDF but I not able to see the effect in PDF.
I tried both ways
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../font/fonts.css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../stylesheets/global.css"/>
and
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/font/fonts.css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/stylesheets/global.css"/>
My folder location is, and Currently, I am using Liferay DXP
META-INF/resources/font/fonts.css
META-INF/resources/stylesheets/global.css
code is below
<!DOCTYPE html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="keywords" content="key, words"/>
<meta name="description" content="Website description"/>
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow"/>
<meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1,
maximum-scale=1"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../font/fonts.css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../stylesheets/global.css"/>
</head>
<body>
<section id="wrapper">
<section id="mainCntr">
<article class="objectBox">
<div class="logo">
<img src=""/>
</div>
<div class="text">
<h2>Objects in <br/> this document <br/> are simpler <br/> than they seem.</h2>
</div>
</article>
</section>
</section>
</body>
</html>
Can anybody tell me the right approach to get effect fonts.css and global.css in FTL to generate PDF?
Finally, we applied inline CSS for whole pdf file code on each and every lines as per our requirements.
Remove below to lines from the pdf file code.
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../font/fonts.css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../stylesheets/global.css"/>
I have the newest Foundation complete version and I am following this tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK_k__4Y4TU
I am trying to get a menu but there is nothing on my website at all. It is just blank.
<!doctype html>
<html class="no-js" lang="en" dir="ltr">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="ie=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-
scale=1.0">
<title>Foundation for Sites</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/foundation.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/app.css">
</head>
<body>
<div class="off-canvas position-left" id="offCanvas" data-off-canvas>
<ul class="menu vertical">
<li>Links</li>
<li>Links</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div class="off-canvas-content" data-off-canvas-content></div>
<script src="js/vendor/jquery.js"></script>
<script src="js/vendor/what-input.js"></script>
<script src="js/vendor/foundation.js"></script>
<script src="js/app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
I tried your code and only mistake is you have written off-canvas insted of off-canvas-wrap.
No class exist with name off-canvas.
<div class="off-canvas-wrap position-left" id="offCanvas" data-off-canvas>
I am using Bootstrap 3 and have a container with rows, all overflowing content will get white background. Any idea where to look for?
This is just some example how the page looks like, not the original code.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, user-scalable=0">
<title></title>
<link href="css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet" />
</head>
<body>
<div class="container">
<div class="row">
.....
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>
I have the following layout based on angular material layout:
<!DOCTYPE html>

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="description" content="">

<link rel='stylesheet' href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,700'>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular-material/0.8.3/angular-material.css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="./style.css"/>

<body ng-app="starterApp" layout="column">

Please try it on firefox and chrome, and you will see it works not the same, why?
Put the initial code on this order:
<head>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, user-scalable=no"/>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="description" content="">
<title>Angular Material - Starter App</title>
This is my header where i've added font awesome as stated at the homepage:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<meta name="description" content="">
<meta name="author" content="">
<!-- Custom Font awesome -->
<link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.0.3/css/font-awesome.css" rel="stylesheet">
<!-- Bootstrap core CSS -->
<link href="../css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"
</head>
And try testing font awesome with adding
<a class="btn btn-lg btn-success" href="#">
<i class="fa fa-flag fa-2x pull-left"></i> Font Awesome<br>Version 4.0.3
</a>
But the result is: none of the font awesome specific typography or icons. It seems like font awesome will not surpress the bootstrap code. Anyone can help?
I don't have any problems with the following example, which is basically a combination of the two snippets you posted.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<meta name="description" content="">
<meta name="author" content="">
<!-- Custom Font awesome -->
<link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.0.3/css/font-awesome.css" rel="stylesheet">
<!-- Bootstrap core CSS -->
<link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.0.2/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet">
</head>
<body>
<a class="btn btn-lg btn-success" href="#">
<i class="fa fa-flag fa-2x pull-left"></i> Font Awesome<br>Version 4.0.3
</a>
</body>
</html>
As Michal remarked, your version had an open link tag for the Bootstrap style-sheet. The only change I did, was loading Bootstrap from a CDN as well (since I didn't have a local copy handy).
However, the example even worked when the link tag wasn't closed, but that might depend on the browser used. Did you get any errors in your console (e.g. missing components?)
