Hi , when i deleted site under mysite collection the webapplication
doesnot work and i had this error
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 Date: Fri, 13 Dec 2013
07:03:54 GMT Connection: close
When I checked the log file I had this :
From Microsoft support page
Cause
This is caused by insufficient permissions for the search service account on the SharePoint Server. Verify that no group policies have been set on the local user groups 'WSS_WPG' and 'WSS_ADMIN_WPG'.
Resolution
Check the system event log for group policy changes that may have occurred around the same time as the search errors. Determine if any group policies have altered permissions on 'WSS_WPG', or WSS_ADMIN_WPG groups
From the folder %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\bin run the Psconfig command-line tool for SharePoint Products as follows:
Psconfig -cmd secureresources

Hello i am getting an error when using Microsoft graph api, i am getting a 403 error when I am updating a planner task.

I have created my own plan to create tasks and assign them accordingly. This application used to work without any issue but suddenly it started throwing this issue.
This issue only occurs on the update, other functions like the read, create and delete work without any issue.
I have full office 365 admin rights, so it is not admin related issues. I have looked at the Graph Api on Git Hub to see possible causes of this problem. In the git hub it states if a particular code is shown it can be referenced to the cause of the problem but there is no code provided
Planner Api Documentation
Any help would be appreciated to solve this issue
This was solved through trial and error.
The problem with it was due to me trying to modify the PlanId which i found out cannot be modified on update.
Once the PlanId part was removed from the api post request it updated without any issue
I have read emails from Exchange online in c#.net using Office 365 API, but getting some issue on response object
(HttpResponseMessage response = await client.SendAsync(request))

You have to register your application on Azure Active Directory (AAD) and set the application permissions to read emails in your app registration.
Check out this presentations starting fromr slide #24:

Hope this helps.
Exchange mailbox access by API was disabled for that account. Please follow https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn467892(v=exchg.150).aspx to enable it, e.g. Set-CASMailbox –Identity adam#contoso.com -EwsEnabled:$true
I'm trial http://www.webdavsystem.com/ .Net WebDav Server and having problem direct editing on Word file which always open in read-only mode. (tested with Visio, Excel same problem)
I've tried several things noted in the page http://www.webdavsystem.com/server/prev/v2/documentation/ms_office_read_only
Here are the results
Yes: My WebDAV configured on server site root.
Yes: My WebDAV support Class 2. (using built-in wizard to generate project)
No: I didn't open web-hyperlinked file, I opened from M:\Folder\File.doc as Mapped Drive
Yes: I've Cleared Microsoft Office WebDAV cache in registry.
Yes: I've Excluded client side MS Office issues. By testing with
www.ajaxfilebrowser.com, works perfectly.
Two things I can't really do by suggestions on the webpage are
I've enable Log flag in Web.config file and attached here
http://www.sendspace.com/file/fp3yrz as I can't really understand
Log syntax much.
Also I don't know much enough to try with Fiddle (Examine WebDAV
requests with a Fiddler tool ) And my server configured to use
Digest Authentication over Standard HTTP, it seemed to work - drive
mapping has no a problem.
My Environment : VS2012 Ultimate ran on Win7 ultimate 6GB Ram (also act as a client pc), Server : Winserver 2012 Std, 2GBRam
I examined your log, it looks ok, I did not found any issues.
Microsoft Mini-redirector many cache authentication info. Here is what else you can try:
Unmount your WebDAV folders using net use * /DELETE command (or its variants).
Clear saved logins using following command:
rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr
LOCK request should reach success for an Office document to be opened for editing (not read-only). This will ensure that the document will not be edited by two or more persons at a time.
But in your log file I can see 5 LOCK request and 4 of them failed (with reductions):
[7] [LOCK] /685/test_D47H.doc
User-Agent: Microsoft-WebDAV-MiniRedir/6.1.7601
Timeout: Second-3600
[7] <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?><D:lockinfo xmlns:D="DAV:"><D:lockscope><D:exclusive/></D:lockscope><D:locktype><D:write/></D:locktype><D:owner><D:href>admin</D:href></D:owner></D:lockinfo>

X-OS-Version : Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0
X-IIS-Version : Microsoft-IIS/8.0
X-Worker-Request : System.Web.Hosting.IIS7WorkerRequest
X-Engine : IT Hit WebDAV Server .Net v3.1.869.0 (Evaluation License)

</d:error>
"Not enough privileges" - this means an UnauthorizedAccessException is thrown when trying to create an alternate stream for the file /685/test_D47H.doc. And LOCK request is the only attempt to change this file (all other requests just read its properties).
But later you are creating file /685/test_D47H%20-%20Copy.doc and all the changing requests succeed (like PUT, PROPPATCH, UNLOCK).
This means the file /685/test_D47H.doc is write protected and any new created file - is not.
I'm running IIS5.0 and I am trying to change the ASP.NET process account to my domain user account.
I have followed everything possible here.
When I browse the .svc file (this is a wcf service) I am getting this error:
Server Application Unavailable The
web application you are attempting to
access on this web server is currently
unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh"
button in your web browser to retry
your request.
Administrator Note: An error message
detailing the cause of this specific
request failure can be found in the
application event log of the web
server. Please review this log entry
to discover what caused this error to
occur.
Eventlog says:
aspnet_wp.exe could not be started.
The error code for the failure is
80070522. This error can be caused when the worker process account has
insufficient rights to read the .NET
Framework files. Please ensure that
the .NET Framework is correctly
installed and that the ACLs on the
installation directory allow access to
the configured account.
When I run the client, I get the following error:
The content type text/html;
charset=utf-8 of the response message
does not match the content type of the
binding (application/soap+xml;
charset=utf-8). If using a custom
encoder, be sure that the
IsContentTypeSupported method is
implemented properly. The first 872
bytes of the response were: '
From ASP.NET 2.0 onwards, the correct method to ensure that a user account has the correct rights to run as the worker process identity is to run this command:
aspnet_regiis -ga [account]
You need to run the aspnet_regiis command that matches the ASP.NET version you plan on running:
ASP.NET 2.0 -
%SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe -ga [account]
ASP.NET 4.0 -
%SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -ga [account]
If you put your Domain Account under IIS_WPG group, it should ideally work. If it doesn't work, there is a sure shot way of fixing it.
In IIS 6... step 1 is applicable... since you are on IIS 5, ignore step 1
Run it with Local System to begin with. If the applications runs, it means your IIS is configured well and you can proceed with the step 2.
Change the account to your domain account, and ensure that you have put the account in IIS_WPG as well. After that, run the tool called Process Monitor http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx
Browse the application now. If you still get the error, switch to the Process Monitor and stop capture [menu option].
Search for Access denied and fix it. Link
