The site http://smirit.org/ has got a responsive wordpress template, but the images dissapear (after a few seconds) when you visit the site on a mobile device. Images in header (logo) and slider (bottom).
The original theme doesnt do this, check http://organicthemes.com/demo/profile/
Anyone got an idea?
-- EDIT
It appears that when I use images from an other server they do work. But it's not the server's problem because images on a normal browser work fine.
Try Installing WP mobile Detector Plugin which provide you with themes with Images supported...

I built this site using phugo (a Hugo theme) and am also using Cloudinary to host the images so they will dynamically be reduced on various device widths. Well, that's supposed to be the plan.
I do not see the thumbnails in Chrome on my S9 yet the larger image appears if I click on the blank area where the image(s) should be.
When activating "Desktop site" everything works.
I'm stumped. There are too many variables for me to tinker with. Could be Cloudinary? The main.js that came w the theme? My meta tags? CSS? ... S.O.S. Mayday Help! TY

Edit (6/14/19 2pm PST): I'm nearly certain it's not the CSS
I have a WordPress site http://legacyproject.sbcc.edu using the “twenty seventeen” theme with a custom header .jgp image, file size: 456 KB, dimensions: 2000 x 1200 (as recommended for that theme). It displays fine on a desktop computer but the header image does not appear on an apple iPhone. (I don’t have an iPad to check it on, so I don’t know how it appears there.) I see from a previous question/answer that image size can be an issue, but my image appears to fall within the acceptable range. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
UPDATE: It was suggested I scroll down to the bottom of my mobile device and click the "View full site" link. It worked. I now see the site as it previewed in the mobile-friendly version in WordPress.
Maybe you want to disable Jetpack plugin or Mobile Theme functional of Jetpack to show visitor exactly what you see on desktop.
i installed a bootstrap theme and tried to match my bootstrap site to the blog
checkout [jamaicainn.com][1]
the problem is when i am resizing the browser to see how it looks on mobile, the theme works. But it doesn't work properly on the actual mobile phone.
I am new to wordpress, 10 days to be exact, My website does not render correctly on mobile devices no matter which theme i use. It displays strange i.e. some css issue and at the end is a button to switch to web view... when i click web view then it renders correctly.
Apparently web version works fine and responsive but mobile version which loads by default on mobile devices is not rendering correctly.
I have tried deactivating all plugins, switching between different themes, installing/uninstalling wptouch and jetpack, checking page source for viewport issues etc but of no use. I did not create this site but I am asked to fix this issue.
At the moment I am not using any plugin for responsiveness, theme is responsive.

let me know if you want to see code of any file from my wordpress site.
I've uploaded my images using the WordPress Media Library. Permissions are set on the Uploads directory. Images are showing up in the proper uploads directory and re-sized correctly. Database is updated correctly and has proper path to images.
When in the media library, I see the thumbnails to the images, but when I click on a thumbnail to view the image, it doesn't display the image at all. Nothing shows up.
I've also tried using these images in an image slider and when i browse the media library, it finds them. I select the image to use in my slider and the thumbnail of the selected image gets displayed fine, but when I view my slider from the web page the image doesn't get displayed there either. Just an empty slider.
I have no plugins activated at all.
I'm using the Bizniz theme purchased off Themeforest.
I've updated WordPress to 3.3.2
Running off my local machine using Apache.
When i copy the image path from the database and paste it into the browser, the image gets displayed fine.
Everything is working except for the images. Any help is really appreciated!
UPDATE:
Ok, i tried switching my theme back to Twenty Eleven and then clicked my media library thumbnails and the images are displaying correctly. So it looks like it has something to do with the Bizniz theme i'm using. Is it possibly a jquery conflict or something? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks again!
John
Ok, i've found a "temporary" solution to the problem. It seems the issue is with the version of TimThumb (which was v2.8.10 installed with the Bizniz theme).
I ended up using an older version (1.14) in place of this new version and it seems to have resolved the issue.
Although this has resolved the issue, i'm saying "temporary" as i'm not sure what features i might be missing between the two versions and am hoping the new version gets updated to correct this issue.
