My .nsf has a private folder ( created by other person ) and I deleted it - right-click "Delete"( I have Manager access ).
It still appears in the Folders section, but when I double-click it, I get the message: " Document deleted " .
So, if it was deleted why it still shows in the Folder section?
First go into Domino Designer and see if the folder is still listed there. I'm not sure if I'm describing it accurately, but Private folders essentially have an original, and then one copy per user, and perhaps you only deleted the copy.
If there's no sign of the folder, then I would try closing the database and then compact your workspace to get rid of any cached database information.

I am trying to unzip a password-protected zip folder in Windows 11 OS. I have the password, however when I clicked 'Extract Al...' and confirmed the extract location, it didn't ask me for the password; instead, it showed the following error:
and this happened for every single file in the zipped folder.
What should I do?
try 7-zip. Or check the file if its corrupt via checksum, if possible.

A ransomware encrypted all my files with the extension .nlah
I used Spyhunter 5 to scan my Windows 10 and delete the malwares.
Then I had to look for a way to recover my files with no success. This is the tool: EMSIsoft: ransomware-decryption-tools
I'm a doctor, and I save very important informations about my patients in that computer. So it's vital to recover those files. Can you help me please?
enter image description here
It is almost impossible to decrypt the files without knowing key and encryption mechanism.
Please make sure you have completed removed the ransomeware from your computer to avoid further damage.
If you have backup copy of your files then get it recovered from backup.

I had used DROP DATABASE command to drop a database. Is there any way through which I can see the time at which the DROP command was executed (i.e. at what time the database got deleted)?
Can I get it by reading any SQL or Windows log?
Thanks in advance.
If you are running Ms SQL Server 2005 or later, you can get it from the default log.
SELECT * FROM ::fn_trace_getinfo(default)
Find the filename of the trc-file in the results.
select * from fn_trace_gettable('PATH_TO_TRC_FILE',DEFAULT) where EventClass in (47) and databasename='NAME_OF_DB'
Replace the path to the trc-file with your path from previous command and NAME_OF_DB with the name of the database you want to know about.
See this page for details
Good luck!

My brand-new install of Word 2007, which had been working just fine, suddenly refused to save any files. I'd hit Ctrl-S, and it wouldn't complain but it wasn't saving. Then upon exiting, Word would ask if I wanted to save. I'd click on Yes, and the same pop-up would appear, endlessly, until I chose Cancel. Also, on opening files, Word gave an error message about not being able to access a TEMP file. Exact wording: "word could not create the work file - check the temp environment variable".
I searched all over, including stackoverflow, and nothing people said to do was the problem. But they did cause me to look at the folder C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office (where of course MyUserName is my user name). The folder was encrypted. I decrypted it, and -- bingo! -- Word worked perfectly again.
This was on a 3-year-old laptop with a fresh disk re-image (OS=Win7) from the helpdesk at work. The weird thing is, that folder is encrypted on my desktop at work, and everything works fine there.
Since I couldn't find this solution anywhere, I figured I'd post it to stackoverflow. This fix is so easy that people may as well try it before any of the other proposed fixes.

When open a query in Microsoft project, the start date changes. Please note that, the start date is a custom field.
I found the answer, update the mappingfile of your project to map the custom tfs field to Project's start field like :
the mapping file can be upload, downloaded using "TFSfieldmapping" command on vs command prompt.
I am still facing a problem, that is when the task has child items, the start date is not reflected. Only for a task that has no child items, the date is reflected properly.
