I have managed to build OpenGTS 2.4.7 and works well. I would like to use GoogleMaps V3 instead, however i am not sure how to go about this. I have read the google tutorials but not sure how to make the changes.
I would be very grateful if someone can point me to the right direction.
I have managed to resolve this issue by the use of Google API site and a few sites. So first of you have to create a GoogleMapsV3.js and edit the GoogleMaps.java file.
Rebuild the track files and reload.
I managed to migrate OpenGTS v.2.4.7 from GoogleMapsAPIv2 to GoogleMapsAPIv3.
follow this link sourceforge forum
here is the GoogleMapsV3.js file link to file
My OpenGTS version is 2.4.7.
I were using GoogleMaps APIv2, today it was disabled by Google, so i made the following changes:
Placed above GoogleMapsV3.js file in %GTS_HOME%/war/track/js/maps/ directory.
Added property in the private.xml as follows:
<MapProvider name="googleMaps"
active="${Domain.MapProvider.active=true}"
class="org.opengts.war.maps.jsmap.GoogleMaps"
key="${Domain.MapProvider.key=<<my api key>>}"
rtPropPrefix="Domain.MapProvider.">
<Property key="google.version">3</Property>
That's all, everything works fine now.
PS. The key from apiV2 also works for apiV3.
Here is the newer version of GoogleMapsV3.js: pastebin.com/8jwVhhK3

I am helping out a friend with a slow WP. I installed hummingbird and it's telling me that some css files are slow to load (for example: https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.11.2/TweenMax.min.js - it takes 390ms to load). I would like to store this file locally and see if the performance improves. The problems is that I'm not sure about how to locate the file that is actually requesting this css file. Any help is appreciated.
I suggest a sweet plugin I use called String locator. It will search the whole site for a string like TweenMax.min.js. It will also search by plugin. When it find it it gives options to edit straight to the file. Hope this helps.
I am setting up an ASP.netstorefront site and when I edit the menudata.xml, no changes appear. No matter what I do I can not get it to update the menu on the website. Any ideas?
what version are you using?
With ASPDSNF you can find that there are duplicate xml packages. There is a xmlpackages folder within the root /web folder but you may find that copying your xml packages to the relevant App_Templates/Skin1/XmlPackages folder may work
If you are on Multistore then each store would have Skin1, Skin2 etc..
I figured out the problem. In this build, the menu is pulled from topnav.xml.config, not the typical menudata.xml that the manual says the menu comes form.
I am using FitVid in my theme and all is well except for a specific site that was migrated from Drupal. FitVid works fine with objects and embeds but not iframes, and only on this particular site. The only difference I can find is that a random <noscript> is inserted after the iframe.
Here is an example of the non working iframe on the problematic site:
http://wp.alimomeni.net/project/animal-warmth-no-64/
And here is an example with a different database where no shows up:
http://wpfolio.notlaura.com/project/pollen-from-hazelnut/
Why is FitVid not working for iframes that particular site install? I am concerned there is an issue with the database itself as the content was pretty messy after the initial migration and I haven't been able to replicate the issue anywhere else.
Any help greatly appreciated!
P.S. I have tried other responsive video plugins and my own jQuery to wrap the iframes.
edit
Since the first "problem"'s being resolved, here's another try:
I saw that your fitVid-JS is different from mine. Maybe on purpose, but maybe it's outdated somehow. Here's what I am using in my script which works - for me:
(function($){$.fn.fitVids=function(options){var settings={customSelector:null};if(!document.getElementById("fit-vids-style")){var div=document.createElement("div"),ref=document.getElementsByTagName("base")[0]||document.getElementsByTagName("script")[0],cssStyles="<style>.fluid-width-video-wrapper{width:100%;position:relative;padding:0;}.fluid-width-video-wrapper iframe,.fluid-width-video-wrapper object,.fluid-width-video-wrapper embed {position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;}</style>";
div.className="fit-vids-style";div.id="fit-vids-style";div.style.display="none";div.innerHTML=cssStyles;ref.parentNode.insertBefore(div,ref)}if(options)$.extend(settings,options);return this.each(function(){var selectors=["iframe[src*='player.vimeo.com']","iframe[src*='youtube.com']","iframe[src*='youtube-nocookie.com']","iframe[src*='kickstarter.com'][src*='video.html']","object","embed"];if(settings.customSelector)selectors.push(settings.customSelector);var $allVideos=$(this).find(selectors.join(","));
$allVideos=$allVideos.not("object object");$allVideos.each(function(){var $this=$(this);if(this.tagName.toLowerCase()==="embed"&&$this.parent("object").length||$this.parent(".fluid-width-video-wrapper").length)return;var height=this.tagName.toLowerCase()==="object"||$this.attr("height")&&!isNaN(parseInt($this.attr("height"),10))?parseInt($this.attr("height"),10):$this.height(),width=!isNaN(parseInt($this.attr("width"),10))?parseInt($this.attr("width"),10):$this.width(),aspectRatio=height/width;if(!$this.attr("id")){var videoID=
"fitvid"+Math.floor(Math.random()*999999);$this.attr("id",videoID)}$this.wrap('<div class="fluid-width-video-wrapper"></div>').parent(".fluid-width-video-wrapper").css("padding-top",aspectRatio*100+"%");$this.removeAttr("height").removeAttr("width").css({'width': '', 'height': ''})})})}})(window.jQuery||window.Zepto);
Sry for minified code, I only copy & pasted it.
I can't see a reference to the api.css, adam.css and eve.css files in the Preview API, nor can I find any reference to the buttons and icons they would like the app to use.
Is there a page I'm missing?
I've tried:
Here and here
(incompatible with Preview API)
There is also this but it doesn't provide much help (other than help to decode the horrific JSDoc site)
The monolithic api.css file have been split into separated stylesheets, each of them corresponding to a certain views module. Thus, you only need to include the CSS files for the modules you use.
Right now, these are the files:
$views/css/list.css
$views/css/image.css
$views/css/buttons.css
$views/css/throbber.css
$views/css/popup.css
You can see them in action in the Views tutorial preview, and some of them are also used in the Apps Tutorial on GitHub.
I want to update a background image in google code projects.I searched their wiki, it talks about pointing image to an external world.Is there anyway we can upload the image to google code and provide a link?
I got the solution.First you need to upload the image to 'Download' area.After that, give the image url like this.
<img src="http://yourgoogleproject.googlecode.com/files/name of your image.PNG" alt="Logo"/>
You have to paste the above code inside apostrophe(') and end with apostrophe and can paste this in project description of your project summary tab.(I have just added here, in my case)
The file uploaded will go under 'files' folder of your project automatically.
This answer is no longer correct. Google Code removed the downloads option in May 2013, due to misuse. You can, as they suggest, move your files to Google Drive and link to them from there, which is fine for project downloads, but for items such as images in wiki pages or the project home page, I recommend checking the images into your source repository and linking to them. For example, ig you use a mercurial repository and your files are checked into docs/images, then:
http://yourproject.googlecode.com/hg/yourproject/docs/images/logo.png
should work.
