Apple Push Notifications Configuration - push-notification

I am getting ready to submit an app to the Apple App Store. My App ID does not have a wildcard and the provisioning portal has a yellow light with "Configurable" for Push Notification. In the future I plan on using push notifications. Do I need to configure my app ID for push notifications now or can I do it on a future release?

You can enable the push notifications in the future release and it's better after you enable the push notifications recreate a new provision profile which contain the updated apple ID.

I meet the same problem. I had it token care of!

Show notification based on a Firebase values

I want to show notification in my app even if the app is closed.. I don't need Firebase's Push Notification Service. The idea is similar to WhatsApp's message notification service.
When a value is added to firebase by a user another user should receive notification that there is a value change
Can someone tell me how this is done and What should I use to achieve this?
Push notifications for all major apps run through APNS for iOS, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android. While the apps may use a higher-level service from their application code, those services depend on APNS and FCM for the actual message delivery.
To see an example of how to build a notification system on top of this, based on values being written to a database, see Send Firebase Cloud Messaging notifications for new followers.

background push notification in ionic3

I have completed an e-commerce app in ionic3. The problem is I want user to be notified when new offers or deals are added in our inventory. This should be a backend process, whether or not the app is open or close.
Note: There is no firebase involved.
If you want to use to get notification in same device then you can try Local notification native plugin for notification and if you want to send notification to other device then you have to use Push or FCM or Onesignal and yes this all required firebase to send push notification to generate device id/key.

Firebase Push Notification Internationally

I was able to integrate Firebase Push Notification into my android/ios app. My apps started getting international users and my question is Firebase Push Notification still works fine for them?
Is there anything i need to do to support Firebase Push Notification internationally?
No extra implementation needed. The notifications target the devices. So long as the device meet the pre-requisite to receive a message (just a stable connection) then it should be able to receive the sent notifications.

SDK for creating Push Notification for Xamarin Forms

newbie here. I was doing some research on using Xamarin Forms for Push Notification. Understand there are APN (Apple Push Notification), FCM(Google) and WNS (Microsoft). However, I could not understand the iOS App rule on using Push Notification:
1) Push Notifications
https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/2016-06-13/
1.1) Apps that provide Push Notifications without using the Apple Push Notification (APN) API will be rejected
1.2) Apps that use the APN service without obtaining a Push Application ID from Apple will be rejected
what if I use FCM ?
2) What is the SDK for Xamarin forms to build a push notification app which will doing the registration and interacting with app back-end?
What is the best approach for Xamarin Forms?
Thanks
Apple Push Notification Service or (APNS) is the only one who can send push notifications to an iOS device. This is why we provision our app with the proper certificate.
The same applies to FCM or WNS. However, services like Amazon Simple Notification Service (AWS SNS), wrap around all three providers and allow us to make one simple API call to recieve notifications from all 3 providers.
For example, we then provide our certificate that Apple provides us to authorize SNS to send a notification to APNS on our behalf. Push notifications are usually device/platform specific.
AWS SNS Xamarin SDK documentation has good pointers : http://docs.aws.amazon.com/mobile/sdkforxamarin/developerguide/sns.html
This is a Xamarin.Forms Github example for the AWS SNS service.

Meteor mobile-config.js push notification entitlement

When submitting my app to the app store, I get this warning:
Missing Push Notification Entitlement - Your app appears to include API used to register with the Apple Push Notification service, but the app signature's entitlements do not include the "aps-environment" entitlement. If your app uses the Apple Push Notification service, make sure your App ID is enabled for Push Notification in the Provisioning Portal, and resubmit after signing your app with a Distribution provisioning profile that includes the "aps-environment" entitlement. See "Provisioning and Development" in the Local and Push Notification Programming Guide for more information. If your app does not use the Apple Push Notification service, no action is required. You may remove the API from future submissions to stop this warning. If you use a third-party framework, you may need to contact the developer for information on removing the API.
I am aware that the push notification entitlement can be set in the mobile-config.js file, but i can't find out what I need to add to that file so that config.xml gets built with the push notification entitlement.
What do I add to my mobile-config.js file?
