nginx + magento unable to edit categories - nginx

Magento ver. 1.7.0.2
Issue
I'm unable to edit/delete categories in magento which is running on nginx instance. Has anybody encountered such issues, Google search turns up with solutions that don't work.

After changing the following configuration

and included the following

NGINX GeoIP2 blocking countries and implementing custom 403 page

This is driving me mad, hopefully someone can help. I have the following warning: But the 403 page is not friendly to blocked countries, I want to redirect people who are blocked to a custom 403 page.
map $geoip2_data_country_code $allowed_country {
default no;
AU yes;
CA yes;
GB yes;
NZ yes;
US yes;
}
server {
location / {
if ($allowed_country = no) {
return 403;
}
index index.php index.html;
try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args;
}
}
My custom file lives in /var/www/sitename/403/index.html. I have tried numerous suggestions but non have worked :(
Here is my Full Configuration of the vhost file.

Plesk + Nginx + Prestashop + Muti language get 404 on short url

I'm looking for a solution with Prestahop 1.7.2 with Nginx server.
I tried dozens of possible solutions, including the official, but all stop working at the time I activate the store with more than one language.
2.137.128.33 - - [21/May/2019:11:34:52 +0200] "GET /en/women/2-9-brown-bear-printed-sweater.html HTTP/1.1" 404 6876 "http://tamainut.info/en/" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3683.103 Safari/537.36 OPR/60.0.3255.95"
I use a official nginx.conf.dist with adaptations to Plesk interface, because Plesk is a intrusive panel. This use a nginx.conf with call to vhost_nginx.conf (content below) in my test site, tamainut.info

Nginx 404 Not Working, Redirects To Homepage

I'm trying to get a 404 error page to work if a file isn't found. Currently the server will just display the homepage instead of the 404 page. The rest of the site is behaving normally.
example.com/error-page/404.html // displays 404 page correctly.
I've tried adding the proxy_intercept_errors and fastcgi_intercept_errors directives with no luck.
Thanks for any help!

I've managed to fix my issue by:
Adding an index to my main try_files:
location / {
try_files $uri $uri/ =404 #extensionless-php;
index index.html index.htm index.nginx-debian.html index.php;
}
Removing /index.php from my php try_files and adding a =404:
location ~ \.php$ {
try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$;
fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock;
fastcgi_index index.php;
fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name;
include fastcgi_params;
fastcgi_read_timeout 300;
fastcgi_intercept_errors on;
}
Adding a rewrite to trailing slashes on the php extension remover:
location #extensionless-php {
rewrite ^/(.*)/$ /$1 permanent;
rewrite ^(.*)$ $1.php last;
}

Wordpress permalink after migrating to Nginx

My permalinks are ~~/%category%~~/%postname%/~~.html~~.
I migrated from Apache to Nginx.
Then my config file I added in
server{
location /mydirectory/ {
try_files $uri $uri/ /mydirectory/$uri.html;
}
But my browser goes on going to the 404 page.
I tried many codes found after deleting cache but still no success.Any help will be much appreciated
Thank you
I desactivate all my plugins and was able to change my permalinks into
/%postname%/
Here is my my.site.com config (my site is in a sub directory Vie/) :
server {
listen 80;
server_name my.site.com;

return 301 https://my.site.com/Vie;

Try this instead. As i was also facing same problem,hope its work for you too.
location /mydirectory{
try_files $uri $uri/ /mydirectory/index.php;
}
Well in fact I solved my problem. I read attentively my ocnfiguration and removed
if (!-e $request_filename) {
rewrite ^.*$ /index.php last;
}
And now my Wordpress works.
Cheerio!
