could anyone help me on my problem, my /var/plone folder's ownership was accidentally changed. can anyone tell me who the owner of this folder? could it be www:root or www-data:root or root:root?
btw i changed it to www:root and some images and styles cannot be loaded on my site.
Everytime somebody opens the site, it keeps loading and loading and after a few minutes it stops and some images are not loaded and style are not well displayed as it is supposed to be.

Look in your /etc/passwd file to see if you have a "plone" or "zope" user id. If so, that's likely the owner your after. "plone" is the user id created by the Unified Installer if you're using sudo for the install.
Another place to check: your init script. It should be starting the zope daemon as the user that should own most of your plone directory.
do a ps auxw and look at the user that runs plone. Then let him read and write. Next time you will run buildout, the permission should be fixed, at least that one in the parts directory.

I have a WordPress website. I have 27 posts/blogs there. but after some days it reduces itself to 20 and after sometime 15. I have to recover it using backup everytime it happens, it's really annoying.
There are a lot of user registered on my website but their role is set as "subscriber".
Only I have the admin access and I also have 2 Step Verification enabled using WordFence plugin. So If someone tries to login then I need to approve that IP.
Or is it a database problem?
It could be caused by some plugin or your theme code. Check your plugins if there is something related to post expiration/pruning and also the functions.php file in your theme directory if there is some cron/schedule/remove filter. It certainly is not caused by the database itself.

I just created a new Wordpress project. I have managed to create a local domain to it, created db (without any data) and configurated my config.php (created from config.sample.php). Then I opened it in the browser to start the installation, but it is obviously broken - CSS is not working.
Please help, what can be wrong?
There is also another project where CSS files obviously don't work. I download that project from gitlab. That one was not from scretch. Both don't work correctly.
This problem usually occurs when you have not entered the correct website address during WordPress installation.

Today I scrape a website using beautifulsoup4 and try to fetch about 16.000 data on that site.
And just few minutes after that, that site got down and can't access about few hours.
So.. my question is:
Will web scraping only cause harm to those who have a website?
First of all, it is advisable to check out the robots.txt file of every site before bombarding it with automated requests like you just did. It is not good for the website owner as well as for you. In order to scrape a website, follow these steps before starting to write a web scraper:
Check if the website has an API available already to make your task easy. If not, then go to step 2.
Check out the robots.txt file which is present at www.anywebsite.com/robots.txt. If the owner has listed this page (which in most cases he will), you can see whether robots are allowed to access the website or not. If yes, then check out which pages are disallowed and also check if there are any rate-limits for it.
If the robots.txt file is not present, then make sure you are gentle enough not to shoot requests to the website at bullet-speed. It might cause harm to the owner and you might get blocked forever from accessing the site.

TLDR Version : Wordpress admin interface does not load
I have a WordPress blog, I have been using it for over 2 years.
Recently I have been experiencing this problem. Al pages login, add new post, dashboard i.e all admin interface pages take forever to load.
I tried debugging this problem, below is a network stat info from my firebug.
It seems that my wp-admin.min.css takes a lot time to load.
Also then I reliased may be this has something to do with the Wordpress Latest Update I had done. But I am not sure, how do i fix this ?
I have search a lot on this, but just couldn't find a solution for this.
It might not be your WordPress installation at all (but rather something about your own internet connection or machine setup). The login page loaded very quickly for me, and here you can see a complete analysis from Pingdom.
It took less than half a second to load. I would try a few of these things to narrow down on the problem:
Reboot
Try a different browser
Try a different computer
Try a different network / location

I wanted to know the steps for changing the path of website in iis.
I have a website configured on C: but due to disk space issues i want to move it to another drive.
Can this be done without changing the path of inetpub and just changing the path of website?
Also does it affect ftp settings?
Yes, just change the Physical path of the sie using inetmgr tool. It doesnt have to be inside inetpub.
But be careful to set appropriate permissions for NETWORK_SERVICE or any other user running your web application.
