plonetruegallery: Download link or button, so users can download a viewed image? - gallery

I use collective.plonetruegallery for image galleries within Plone and I like it. However, what I miss is a "download" button or a simple "link" in order to let users actually download a image. The "Galleria" display view of plonetruegallery does seem to offer such a link/button -- does any of the other display views? Or any other solution whithout having to hack the plonetruegallery addon myself?
I know that you can right click and then choose "download image" among several other options within your preferred browser -- however, for a dumb user to cumbersome ;)

I have added an option to collective.ptg.contactsheet (1.1.2) that let you choose between going to the content or downloading it.

There's not a built-in "feature" to do this. You can see which of the gallery views might have this; looks like you've already found one. I'm sure you could easily customize another one to include such a link, simply by following the example in Galleria.

This is quite easy to make. The url to download the image would probably be:
/path/to/image/download
One option could be to just add an action.
If you want to have this for a specific gallery, I can probably fix it.
(go to https://github.com/collective/collective.ptg.contactsheet or whatever gallerytype you want it for and add an "Issue"

no template defined wordpress masterstudy

I'm trying to do the layout of a course on masterstudy in wordpress, but I'd like to make a template for certain parts of the course, lets say for example when I hover over the title, show an image, when I click on a paragraph, make another one appear next to it etc... I think it is possible to have shortcuts for these and not have to copy paste the code each time I want to have these effects. I think this icon(see image) might do the trick (not sure) but I can't seem to save a template in my dashboard. So if it is indeed this button, can you please explain me how to save templates, and if it is not the solution can you explain me where to look ? The screenshot shows the Tiny MCE editor

Opencart 3.0.2.0 Custum Layout

Good afternoon
Is there anyone who can help me.
I have been trying for a while, but i do not get it done.
I use OpenCart 3.0.2.0 and would like a different kind of Layout.
I would like to select per banner whether it is left, center or right.
As soon as I choose left or right, this applies to the entire page.
Here is a layout I want:
This is what I want.
Can anybody help me with the code? And with file to edit.
I can guide you to a HTML/CSS/LESS code I have built and you can take an example from that should you wish.
I used lesscss.org, and the npm package less-watch-compiler.

Also check this video out on how to create a custom theme on Open cart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqTstomXZiM
Let me know if you need help understanding it.
I think You have to modify controller and pass data to twig.
after modify twig file code according to your need.

SeaDragon Mouse Clicks navigation

I'm trying to build a page in which contains images and while clicking images i want it to navigate to next page.
I've had a look at Seadragon but as far as I can see it is not possible.
Can anyone propose a solution?
Thanks
It's hard to tell from your description exactly what you're trying to do, but I imagine it's possible with the latest version of OpenSeadragon:
http://openseadragon.github.io/
Take a look at these possibilities:

http://openseadragon.github.io/examples/ui-reference-strip/
... Or you could add a custom click handler to do what you want.

How to use jQuery to show a different page in ASP.NET

I am trying to set up functionality similar to Netflix. Where if you mouseover a movie - you are presented with a window of movie details (all client-side).
At high level, can someone in this forum help by telling me how this should be implemented? I.E., one or more .aspx pages, what would go in code-behind, and .js file, css, etc. Just trying to get an idea on how this would be set up to work.
Basically, when I hover over an item, I need to query for details that belongs for that record being moused-over and display it in the window or div. I also need to have some functionality in that window (i.e. a textbox and button which will end up needing to get saved in a database).
Thanks for any tips and suggestions -
You would want to add an AJAX call to the hover event of the image, that pulls from a webservice/web method.
Here is a good example, you would change some things. However, it should get you started.

If I understood your question correctly, you should try this excelent jQuery plugin:
http://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/css-on-hover-image-captions/
Look at the demo here:
http://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/examples/image-hover/
easy to install and configure and very slick!
Good luck
EDIT: sorry wrong lik the first time
There are certainly many jQuery plugins that will do this for you. jQuery UI may also be of benefit.
Here is one that appears to do something like you are describing:

Firebug-esque CSS editor

Here's my current workflow for editing CSS:
Me: "Take a look at this page!"
Guys: "Try making the post titles bigger"
Right click on a post title, choose "inspect" (to inspect it in firebug)
Find the appropriate CSS statement in Firebug (h2.post_title or something)
Modify the CSS in Firebug, ask friends how it looks
If it looks good, make the change again in Textmate
I want to avoid step 6. I.e., I want the ability to edit CSS via a Firebug-like UI and be able to commit my changes to the relevant file immediately (rather than having to copy them by hand as I do with Firebug)
Edit: Something that works on a Mac would be ideal
Have you tried "Web Developer" extension in Firefox? It allows you to open, edit and save CSS files.

Go forth and be enlightened. This is truly a life changing program.
Another possible workflow:
"Hey guys, take a look at this page!"
"Try making the post titles bigger"
Make the change to the CSS file
Hit reload
I only use Firebug for debugging (eg: "why is this thing getting that style?") not for making changes when I know where they need to go in the CSS. This workflow does depend somewhat on being able to reload the CSS easily. If you're working on an app where hitting reload completely disrupts your state it might not be ideal.
Check out Backfire:
http://blog.quplo.com/2010/08/backfire-save-css-changes-made-in-firebug/
Haven't tried it, but sounds promising.
Check out my contribution to this problem:
http://www.cssupdater.com
Step 6 would then be:
6: One click on the "Sync now" button in Firebug!!
The click sends your changes to the desktop application, which syncs your orignal css files.
You can also choose the changes you want to sync in the application. It works with your favorite text editor or IDE and on both Windows and Mac!
Heureka?
XRefresh with "Soft Refresh" enabled may help your workflow, but you still need to know what CSS selectors do you want to add/edit.
What's why I'm developing LIVEditor, because I don't want to manually redo the change again in the text editor after tweaking my css styles in Firebug (or the likes).
Backfire (see post below) was created specifically for Quplo (http://quplo.com), which is a tool that specificly does what you describe. You write html and css, then talk about what needs to be changed, make the changes (using firebug or web developer toolbar) and hit save.
