How to get the members of the group in Tridion - tridion

With the help of event handler i am getting the id of the user who have finished the Workflow activity.
For getting the Id i am writing like:
foreach(var user in activity.Performers)
userId=user.Title.ToString();
Now, similarly how can i get the members of the group(their id's) to which the user belongs.

If you are in the event handler then you are using TOM.NET.
You need to get list of users in the group. Each group has GetGroupMembers method that you can use.
Here's the code you need:
foreach (var user in activity.Performers)
{
var groupMemberships = ((User)user).GroupMemberships;
var filter = new GroupMembersFilter(session);
foreach (var groupMembership in groupMemberships)
{
var users = groupMembership.Group.GetGroupMembers(filter);
}
}
You can control how much data you get back by setting properties of filter

Xamarin Form passing parameters between page keep a hard link to it

I try the new Shell of Xamarin Form 4 for a small project.
I have a list of order, then someone chooses an order and start picking some inventory for this order with barcode. To be simple, I use 2 views and 2 viewmodel.
The process is:
1. User select an order the click a button "pickup"
2. I use ViewModelLocator (TinyIoc) to resolve the correct ViewModel of the pickup view
3. I call Initialize on the new ViewModel and pass some parameters needed. Like a list of items needed to be pickup.
4. Open the view in modal state.
I don't understand that if I change some qty in the list I pass on the second viewmodel, then hit the back button (modal view close). The quantity changed is now in the original viewmodel. How this is possible? I was thinking that passing parameter to a function do not share the same variable but just copy it??
Viewmodel of the first view (look at the Initialize function the List passed and the JobEnCours object)
private async Task GoPickup()
{
Device.BeginInvokeOnMainThread(async () =>
{
if (this.CodeJob != null && this.CodeJob != "")
{
this.IsBusy = true;
PrepChariotSP3ViewModel vm = ViewModelLocator.Resolve<PrepChariotSP3ViewModel>();
await vm.InitializeAsync(this._jobEnCours, this.ComposantesPick.ToList()) ;
await Shell.Current.Navigation.PushAsync(new PrepChariotSP3Page(vm));
this.IsBusy = false;
}
});
}
the the Initialize code on the second Viewmodel (look I set the JobEnCours.Description=Test)
public async Task InitialiseAsync(Job jobEnCours, List<ComposantePick> composantePick)
{
Title = "Ceuillette: " + jobEnCours.CodeProd;
this._jobEnCours = jobEnCours;
this.ComposantesPick = new ItemsChangeObservableCollection<ComposantePick>();
foreach(ComposantePick c in composantePick)
{
this.ComposantesPick.Add(c);
}
jobEnCours.Description = "test";
So, If I do the back button, then in the first VM the JobEnCours.Description is now set to "test" how this is possible?!
Any idea?

Relational Query - 2 degrees away

I have three models:
Timesheets
Employee
Manager
I am looking for all timesheets that need to be approved by a manager (many timesheets per employee, one manager per employee).
I have tried creating datasources and prefetching both Employee and Employee.Manager, but I so far no success as of yet.
Is there a trick to this? Do I need to load the query and then do another load? Or create an intermediary datasource that holds both the Timesheet and Employee data or something else?
You can do it by applying a query filter to the datasource onDataLoad event or another event. For example, you could bind the value of a dropdown with Managers to:
#datasource.query.filters.Employee.Manager._equals
- assuming that the datasource of the widget is set to Timesheets.
If you are linking to the page from another page, you could also call a script instead of using a preset action. On the link click, invoke the script below, passing it the desired manager object from the linking page.
function loadPageTimesheets(manager){
app.showPage(app.pages.Timesheets);
app.pages.Timesheets.datasource.query.filters.Employee.Manager._equals = manager;
app.pages.Timesheets.datasource.load();
}
I would recommend to redesign your app a little bit to use full power of App Maker. You can go with Directory Model (Manager -> Employees) plus one table with data (Timesheets). In this case your timesheets query can look similar to this:
// Server side script
function getTimesheets(query) {
var managerEmail = query.parameters.ManagerEmail;
var dirQuery = app.models.Directory.newQuery();
dirQuery.filters.PrimaryEmail._equals = managerEmail;
dirQuery.prefetch.DirectReports._add();
var people = dirQuery.run();
if (people.length === 0) {
return [];
}
var manager = people[0];
// Subordinates lookup can look fancier if you need recursively
// include everybody down the hierarchy chart. In this case
// it also will make sense to update prefetch above to include
// reports of reports of reports...
var subortinatesEmails = manager.DirectReports.map(function(employee) {
return employee.PrimaryEmail;
});
var tsQuery = app.models.Timesheet.newQuery();
tsQuery.filters.EmployeeEmail._in = subortinatesEmails;
return tsQuery.run();
}

Trying To Filter Only Rows That Meet Two Criteria

I promise I have read through the Query information page, but obviously I am missing/misunderstanding something.
I have a Table that has the statuses for multiple departments (the fields are Strings). When a user loads that table I want App Maker to hide jobs that have been finished.
The way we categorize a job as finishes is when:
The Inventory Status = Complete and when the The Delivery Status = Delivered.
Both these conditions need to be met.
Example:
Inventory (Complete) + Delivery (Delivered) = hide
Inventory (In Progress) + Delivery (Delivered) = don't hide
Inventory (Complete) + Delivery (Scheduled) = don't hide
I tried the following, however it hides all the example listed above, not just the first one.
var datasource = app.datasources.SystemOrders;
var inventory = ['Complete'];
var delivery = ['Delivered'];
datasource.query.filters.InventoryStatus._notIn = inventory;
datasource.query.filters.DeliveryStatus._notIn = delivery;
datasource.load();
I have also tried this:
var datasource = app.datasources.SystemOrders;
datasource.query.filters.InventoryStatus._notIn = 'Complete';
datasource.query.filters.DeliveryStatus._notIn = 'Delivered';
datasource.load();
But I get this error:
Type mismatch: Cannot set type String for property _notIn. Type List is expected. at SystemOrders.ToolBar.Button2.onClick:2:46
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Filters are using AND operator. Please consider switching the Datasource Query Builder and applying the following query:
"InventoryStatus != :CompleteStatus OR DeliveryStatus != :DeliveredStatus"
Set CompleteStatus variable to Complete
Set DeliveredStatus variable to Delivered
Explanation:
Filter you want to apply is "NOT(InventoryStatus = Complete AND DeliveryStatus = Delivered)" which is equivalent to "InventoryStatus != Complete OR DeliveryStatus != Delivered".
Vasyl answer my question perfectly, but I wanted to add a few details in case anyone needs to do the same thing and aren't familiar with using the Datasource Query Builder.
All I did was click the Database I was using and then clicked the Datasources section at the top.
I clicked Add Datasource, named it a new name and pasted Vasyl's code into the Query Builder Expression box.
Two new boxes appear below it allowing me to enter the desired statuses that I wanted to filter out.
Lastly I went back to my Table and changed its datasource to my newly created datasource.
Since you are changing your datasource, if you have any extra code on there it may need to be updated to point to the new datasource.
Example:
I had some buttons that would filter entries for the various departments.
So this:
widget.datasource.query.clearFilters();
var datasource = app.datasources.SystemOrders;
var statuses = ['Complete'];
datasource.query.filters.WarehouseStatus._notIn = statuses;
datasource.load();
had to change to this:
widget.datasource.query.clearFilters();
var datasource = app.datasources.SystemOrders_HideComplete;
var statuses = ['Complete'];
datasource.query.filters.WarehouseStatus._notIn = statuses;
datasource.load();
You can use multiple run and then concatenate their results something like following
/**
* Retrieves records for ActionItems datasource.
* #param {RecordQuery} query - query object of the datasource;
* #return {Array<ActionItems>} user's rating as an array.
*/
function getActionItemsForUser_(query) {
var userRoles = app.getActiveUserRoles();
query.filters.Owner._contains = Session.getActiveUser().getEmail();
var ownerRecords = query.run();
query.clearFilters();
query.filters.AddedBy._contains = Session.getActiveUser().getEmail();
var addedByRecords = query.run();
return addedByRecords.concat(ownerRecords);
}

Getting fragment's id into detail controller

I'm working on a sap fiori Master-Detail application on sap web ide.
i want to filter a table i have on detail view based on an ID i will get from a list in master view.The table's detail view is located in a fragment. I created a js function to filter that table in the detail controller but i can't seem to have the id of the table in the fragment.
Here's my detail-controller's code:
this._oView = this.getView();
this._oView.attachAfterRendering(function() {
var sPath1 = "Qmnum";
var sOperator1 = "EQ";
var sValue1 = "10000000";
var oFilter1 = new sap.ui.model.Filter(sPath1, sOperator1, sValue1);
var oBinding = this.byId("tableid").getBinding("items");
oBinding.filter(oFilter1);
});
i tried using also this
sap.ui.getCore().byId();
&
this.getView().byId();
but still undefined.
If XML fragments are used within XML views, giving the view ID as
fragment ID will allow calling this.byId(…) in the view’s controller
to retrieve controls inside the fragment.
var oFragment = sap.ui.xmlfragment(this.getView().getId(), "my.useful.VerySimpleUiPart" );
Initialize the fragment and attach it to the current view:
// Init fragment
var oFragment = sap.ui.xmlfragment("herePutJourneyToFragment.fragmentName", this.getView().getController());
// Attach the fragment to the current view
this.oView.addDependent(oFragment);
After that you should be able to find the table in you view:
var oTable = this.byId("tableid");

Retrieve multiple value in one session

when i add to cart
i using Session["Cart"] = new List() { Id }; which is get the id pass from the query string
but when i preview on the cartview event i add 2/3 product, it only will show 1 column, which is the latest. why it will replace? my code look like. how should i do to make sure every time i add it will be display on the view cart page? if this code problem or my cart preview page have probelm?
Try this example ,
string[] a = new string[]{"a","b","c"};
Session["values"] = a;
And you can retrieve it like this.
string[] a = (string[])Session["values"]
using List
Session["test"] = yourList;
And you can retrieve it like this.
var list = (List<string>)Session["test"];
