.htaccess with SilverStripe and WordPress - wordpress

Ok, basically I need to be able to set my .htaccess so that it works for SilverStripe install in root directory and blogs installed in the /blogs directory. Here is what I have:
### SILVERSTRIPE START ###
<Files *.ss>
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
Allow from 127.0.0.1
</Files>
<Files web.config>
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
</Files>
ErrorDocument 404 /assets/error-404.html
ErrorDocument 500 /assets/error-500.html
<IfModule mod_alias.c>
RedirectMatch 403 /silverstripe-cache(/|$)
</IfModule>
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
SetEnv HTTP_MOD_REWRITE On
RewriteEngine On
# BEGIN Silverstripe
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(.*)$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule .* sapphire/main.php?url=%1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
# END Silverstripe
# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteBase /blogs/aquiman/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /blogs/aquiman/index.php [L]
RewriteBase /blogs/aquipad/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /blogs/aquipad/index.php [L]
# END WordPress
</IfModule>
### SILVERSTRIPE END ###
This of course does not work. And I know it is wrong, but I don't know enough to fix it. Please help me correct this to make it work right.
Thanks,
JH

One simple advise keep it separate i.e.
Keep SilverStripe related code in $DOCUMENT_ROOT/.htaccess with RewriteBase /
Keep Wordpress related code in $DOCUMENT_ROOT/blog/.htaccess with RewriteBase /blog/
Here is a modified Rewrite code you should use in $DOCUMENT_ROOT/.htaccess:
# BEGIN Silverstripe
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule (?!^blog/)^.*$ sapphire/main.php?url=$1 [L,QSA,NC]
# END Silverstripe

Wordpress permalinks problem installed in laravel with apache

I have a laravel application in: domain.com/co/app that controls it routes/web.php with code Route::post('/co/app'... I have installed wordpress in the public folder of laravel (laravel/public/co) resulting in the blog: domain.com/co.
But when I activate the permalinks in wordpress the lavarel application (domain.com/co/app) I get a wordpress 404 error.
I have ignored the path of the application from the wordpress .htaccess RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(app) [NC] but now I get an apache 404 error (The requested URL was not found on this server) and it does not show the laravel application.
This is the code of the .htaccess wordpress (laravel/public/co):
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
RewriteBase /co/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /co/index.php [L]
</IfModule>
This is the code of the .htaccesss de public (laravel/public)
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
<IfModule mod_negotiation.c>
Options -MultiViews
</IfModule>
RewriteEngine On
# Redirect Trailing Slashes If Not A Folder...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ /$1 [L,R=301]
# Handle Front Controller...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]
# Handle Authorization Header
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} .
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
This is the Route code of the Laravel application (laravel/routes/web.php)
Route::post('/co/app', [
'uses' => 'App#aaa'
])->name('app');
Thanks for the help
I found the answer, in this special case, first you do not have to edit anything in the .htaccesss of laravel/public you only have to edit the wordpress (laravel/public/co). Ignoring the laravel application path with RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/co/app and adding a new module that points to the index.php of laravel/public
The problem is that WordPress can intentionally edit your .htaccess and delete our modification, for that we use a hack that is explained here.
My final wordpress .htaccess code is:
<IfModule mod_ignore_wordpress.c>
# BEGIN WordPress
# The directives (lines) between "BEGIN WordPress" and "END WordPress" are
# dynamically generated, and should only be modified via WordPress filters.
# Any changes to the directives between these markers will be overwritten.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
RewriteBase /co/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /co/index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
</IfModule>
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
RewriteBase /co/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/co/app
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /co/index.php [L]
</IfModule>
#new module
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /co/app
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

.htaccess redirect to same subfolder

My problem is the following: My company shares hosting with others, and we have the subdomain inside a "public_html" folder. I can enter the index of my page perfectly, that is in www.principal.com/mypage it enters perfectly.
The problem is when I redirect to pages within my subdomain, they redirect to the 404 Not Found of the main page, that is to say www.principal.com/mypage/new 404 Not Found page of principal.com
The main / public_html / .htaccess file is
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . index.php [L]
</IfModule>
The file public_html/mypage/.htaccess is
<FilesMatch ".(phtml|php|PhP|php5|suspected)$">
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from all
</FilesMatch>
The file public_html/mypage/public/.htaccess is
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
<IfModule mod_negotiation.c>
Options -MultiViews
</IfModule>
RewriteEngine On
# Redirect Trailing Slashes If Not A Folder...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ /$1 [L,R=301]
# Handle Front Controller...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]
# Handle Authorization Header
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} .
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
I must clarify that my subdomain worked perfectly until a few days ago, since March that it worked very well.
Wordpress is the main page of the domain, my page in the subdomain is with the Laravel framework.
So, I redirect from Laravel to Laravel whit
Route::group([
'middleware' => 'auth'],
function(){
Route::get('/onepage', 'HomeController#one');
Route::get('/twopage', 'HomeController#two');
});
Your problem is because the directives in the root level .htaccess are used even something might be directed to the site in the subfolder. Try something like this in public_html/.htaccess, to exclude requests sent to the subfoler:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/autorizaciones/.*
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . index.php [L]
</IfModule>
I solved it
I changed The file public_html/mypage/.htaccess is
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /MYPAGE
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . index.php [L]
</IfModule>

I can't block all except me in htaccess

I have this code in my htaccess (wordpress):
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
I have added all type of codes to block everyone except me, i try with:
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from 'myIp'
but not works, maybe because I put this code in wrong place.
I try with this, too, and nothing:
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^123\.456\.789\.123$
Can you help me, please? I want to access with my ip to index and the rest to google.com, for example.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^12345$
RewriteRule ^ http://google.com/ [L,R]
# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

Htaccess in main directory conflicts with subdirectory

I'm using two different opensource systems for a customer.
On the main directory I've installed wordpress.
In a sub directory (/shop) I've installed OpenCart 1.5.5
I want to have SEO url's enabled in OpenCart but when I enable this, my url becomes:
www.example.com/shop/category
The main htaccess from wordpress then checks if it knows the category and the post in wordpress and returns a 404.
If someone has got a solution for me I would be very pleased!
Thank you for your effort!
HTACCESS from Wordpress:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
HTACCESS from opencart:
Options +FollowSymlinks
Options -Indexes
<FilesMatch "\.(tpl|ini|log)">
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
</FilesMatch>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ index.php?route=feed/google_sitemap [L]
RewriteRule ^googlebase.xml$ index.php?route=feed/google_base [L]
RewriteRule ^download/(.*) /index.php?route=error/not_found [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !.*\.(ico|gif|jpg|jpeg|png|js|css)
RewriteRule ^([^?]*) index.php?_route_=$1 [L,QSA]
change the RewriteBase directive in the OpenCart .htaccess to
RewriteBase /shop/
Not sure if this works as I don't have a way of testing this locally. Change Wordpress htaccess to this:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/shop
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

Exclude a folder/directory from RewriteRule

I have a pretty standard WordPress .htaccess with the following URL rewrites
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
WordPress is installed in my domain root. I have some other scripts in subfolders, e.g. /opencart These subfolders contain their own .htaccess files.
Unfortunately, it seems that WordPress hijacks the rewrites for some of these scripts sometimes.
How can I ask mod_rewrite to ignore WordPress rules for rewrites when encountered with specific subfolders e.g. opencart and to use the rules defined in the .htaccess within these subfolders instead?
You may try replacing the complete WP rule-set with this one:
# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
# Include in the next line all folders to exclude
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(folder1|folder2|folder3) [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
# END WordPress
In the .htaccess file in your site root, add the following ABOVE the WordPress .htaccess directives:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/subdirectoryname1/(.*)$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/subdirectoryname2/(.*)$ [OR]
RewriteRule ^.*$ - [L]
</IfModule>
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteRule ^/(folder1)/(.*) /folder1/$2 [R]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L,R]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
