500 - Internal Server Error - asp.net - asp.net

Question

I am getting 500 Internal Server Error, when loading my new asp.net application.
I have been told it might be my web.config. If so, I have enclosed it hoping someone will be able to help me.

I've edited the Xml given in Question , removed several extra > characters from it including forgotten > suggested > by #Aristos , Please check the new formatted web.config

A 500 error is a generic server-side error that could indicate a variety of things (compilation issues, exceptions etc). We faced this type of issue due to duplicate custom headers, "X-Content-Type-Options".

Try enabling error description in your web.config file, if you are not sure about the other code or configuration change.
