I am looking to use Nextgen Gallery slideshow in a Wordpress website to display a large image gallery of 50+ high resolution images, but Nextgen gallery only lets one advance to the next image in the gallery by clicking on the image. There is no navigation buttons or arrows that lets one go back and forth in the gallery. I have looked all over the web and unfortunately my jQuery knowledge just isn't up to par to tackle this issue on my own.
I am trying to make the Nextgen Gallery slideshow appear like how Nivo Slider does - http://nivo.dev7studios.com/demos/ - with the prev/next arrows and the pagination buttons
The reason I am using Nextgen Gallery is due to how it loads images - it loads 3 to 4 images at a time which drastically reduces page load time. Other image galleries that offer navigation functions freeze up the homepage due to trying to finish loading all the images at once.
Edit: We are staying away from the Nextgen Flash gallery function
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I have NextGen Gallery version 3.1.5 and NextGen Pro version 2.6.8.
I am trying to put a gallery on a page, and have filter buttons above the gallery so that users can filter the images by tag.
Does anybody know of something I'm missing, or have a bit of custom code that can make this work?
I tried using the NextGen Gallery PowerTags plugin, but that broke my site (made it go to a 500 error). I think that plugin doesn't work anymore because of how big this last update by NextGen Gallery was.
Check out justified image grid. Its a plugin to display different gallery sources including nextgen. You can have two levels of filtering.
To keep it short: I am working on a Wordpress website for a cliënt of mine and I want to display a gallery with the NextGen Gallery plugin.
What I want to achieve is the following: I want to display one image, and when someones clicks on that image it will open up the gallery in lightbox.

But for some reason the Imagebrowser setting in the plugin only contains the navigation arrows underneath the image and not the lightbox effect.

Also the lightbox effect is different here then on the website of NextGen Gallery and it only shows the first image of the gallery as if it was the only picture added. I have checked this in the admin but all images are added but not shown on the website.
(To make the website more clear, my client wants that every image on that webpage has its own gallery. I now have 3 images which should open 3 galleries but these don't work properly. )
I really hope someone can help me with this as I have already spent days on getting this fixed. If you need any additional info or data then please don't hessitate to ask me as I'm more than happy if someone can help me with this issue.

I'm looking for slider that works with images and video. I tried many but they do not have this functionality. I can possibly do it myself (based on posts in category and jquery) - it's not a big problem, but the problem is when on video slide person click on play - slideshow has to stop.
Where I find something like that (preferred free)?

I am installing a wordpress theme innovation science 2 (from Digital Cavalary) for my gaming portal.
I'll understand the whole theme functions but I have a problem with thumbnails on posts and pages.
Thumbnail images on my site are not generated properly, loading icon is spinning and the image is not loading.
Whenever I click on spinning thumbnails, image will be opened but thumbnails not showing. I guess there is no problem with images, its about images resizing or thumbnails generating.
Can you provide some code from the theme? Especially the index.php and the functions.php. It feels like there is a method that extracts the image from each post and uses that image to generate the thumbnail. For some reason it is failing to identify the image to extract and resize.
