I want to debug a class (javax.servlet.http.Cookie) which is in JBoss-servlet-api_3.0_spec-1.0.0.final.jar, but after I downloaded the JBoss source code from github: https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/，I found the source code of that class are not there. Who can tell me where it is?

It looks like jbossweb is still NOT migrated to GIT. Its still hosted on the old SVN repos.

I'm having a problem in locating webscript in Alfresco 4.2c. I need to extend its functionality. I found and edited pickerresults.ftl but to see the changes I need to locate it in src files in the repository. I found it extracted in tomcat directory but I cannot locate where it came from.
I found out that in community edition it should be in the alfresco remote api but cannot see it there.
The older version's src code was maintained in SVN. use share extensions to override the script. below link gives the src location:

I have an application that is currently running on JBoss AS but does not work on Glassfish. I'm trying to work through the documentation here but I'm having trouble figuring out things like what the file structure of the application should be and what (if any) additional files are needed. This documentation also refers to examples but to get the examples you need to install Netbeans and access an update tool tied to the glassfish instance installed with Netbeans. When I do this the server won't start, the update tool won't run, and I can't get the examples. Is there an easy way to get these examples (e.g. a simple download)? I've found other examples such as this one, but they are also dependent upon Netbeans.
Is there a simple and complete ejb/servlet example for Glassfish that can be simply downloaded and does not depend upon Netbeans or other IDE?
The obvious example is the Java EE CargoTracker. It was written to show what a "real" application might look like with pure Java EE APIs so should work on both JBoss and GlassFish. You will need Maven installed to build and run it, but there are more complete details in the readme for the project. Note that some of the information is a little out of date (mostly links to java.net which has been sunset in favour of a GitHub site) but the application itself is still a good example of Java EE 7 APIs.

To get and build the examples you will need Git and Maven. These examples are small, complete, and concise. The example that was helpful for my particular problem was this example:
glassfish-samples\ws\javaee5\enterprise\servlet-stateless-ear
It demonstrated that I needed to change the structure of my project such that the servlet was in a .war file and not in a .jar file in the lib folder of my project.
I was able to do what I'm goin to describe in Fuse 6.1 but now in Fuse 6.2 I get an exception and it is not working anymore.
By following a tutorial, I build a "multi module" project that has a features component in order to install all the needed bundles.
I'm working on a fabric container with a child container.
I create a new profile and then from hawtio console I try to add the feature repository. (BTW I have the same problem if I use the terminal console)
The feature repository is added correctly (that's what fuse says at least) but when I enter the page to add any feature I see this in the log:

Of course, it is right, since I never installed the bundle in that folder, but I have it in my local .m2/repository
Now, the question is, has anyone ever installed a custom feature in Jboss 6.2 and can help me get out from this situation?
The only solution I found is to manually copy the feature and all the custom bundled indicated by the feature in the "/system" folder, but I never had to do this in Fuse 6.1 so I don't like this solution at all.
Other thing, there is a conf file in Fuse 6.2 that has changed from Fuse 6.1, C:\servers\fuse\etc\io.fabric8.maven.cfg and it is the only file I found pointing to the system folder... but I'm afraid that if I add the .m2 folder here then Fuse will try to search there any bundle even those that has to be really taken from system folder.
So far I haven't find any other difference in the config file about maven repository.
There is any good guy out there that know how to make this thing work?

I installed a clean JbossFuse 6.2.0. Then from the hawtio console I just add the repository to the profile using
mvn:it.mytria.demo/esercizio1-feature/1.0.0/xml/features
and it worked.
So... I have no idea what went wrong the first time. I made no changes to the projects code or pom configuration of the bundles.
I am trying to deploy a sparql endpoint using dotNetRDF to www.myapp.com/sparql.
rdfWebDeploy -test worked without errors but then running -deploy shows that there are missing assemblies in these tool.
First is complained about missing NewtonSoft.Json.Net35.dll, so I went into my nuget package and grabbed the dll in the net35 folder. However, this dll is named NewtsonSoft.Json.dll despite the 35 build...so I just renamed it has Net35 in the name and dropped it into rdfWebDeploy.
This worked so far, then it complained about MySql.Data.dll. I downloaded the MySql Connector which had the dll and dropped it into the rdfWebDeploy folder as well.
Finally rdfWebDeploy succeeded, however running the site produced
Could not load file or assembly 'Newtonsoft.Json.Net35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference.
How can I get this tool to deploy to my Net 4.5 MVC site and get past this Newtonsoft issue? Also, how will I know my endpoint ("/sparql") is working, will it display something if I go there?
This tool hasn't been updated in a while and sounds like it has fallen behind the main code base somewhat, we haven't used the old .Net 3.5 builds of Json.Net in a long time nor do we have any dependencies on MySql.Data anymore. So this sounds like a bug which we'll look to fix in our latest release - this has been logged as TOOLS-424
In terms of what you will see when this is working it will depend on the configuration you have provided for your endpoint(s), a fairly default configuration would give you a query form such as the one seen on our live demo at http://www.dotnetrdf.org/demos/leviathan/ - you can see the corresponding configuration for our demos at http://www.dotnetrdf.org/demos/sampleConfig

The mentioned bug has now been fixed and an up to date and working version of this tool will be available in the next dotNetRDF release currently scheduled for the end of July 2014.
I'm a bit confused. I need to compile a project in jDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0. The server side of the project is deployed on the Glassfish server. On the machine of the project's creator everything compiles without any problems.
Using project properties -> Libraries and Classpath I added the libraries such as gf-client.jar, security etc. from $glassfish_home/glassfish/modules and some others (e.g. hibernate3.jar from hibernate dir).
When I try to compile the project I receive the following errors:
package javax.annotation.security does not exist
and
package javax.persistence does not exist.
I suppose that I miss some jars to include. I tried to find which jars (from Glassfish or from JDK) contain javax.annotation.* and javax.persistence.* but I couldn't.
If you have any ideas I would be thankful!
I was having the same problem and was able to solve it by adding a couple of dependencies to the Maven pom.xml file. See this answer for more details.
So I found the source of the problem. The application consists of 2 projects, of which only one (mentioned in the question) uses EJB. I'm not sure if it is the way it should be, but I tried adding ejb-files to another project. And after clean all and rebuild all it compiled like a charm for me. I hope this will help somebody in the future.
