Zooming and Moving of Swf Loader Content - apache-flex

I want to zooming/scaling swf content of particular values like x,y,width,height.That selected coordinates/selected are will be visible to the container.
I am using SwfLoader to load swf content and i want zoom.

I think it is not possible to zoom perticular area of swfloader, you can use scaleX, scaleY property to zoom your swfloader by certain percent, but if you want to zoom a perticular area then you have to scale whole swf and arrange swf's horizontal and vertical scroll position so that selected area would be come in the center of the screen. it looks like zooming the selected area but it actually zoom whole swf....

Qt: Add margins to the visibleRegion of a Map

I have a Map that fills the window and some locations from which I generate a georectangle. I want to set the visibleRegion of the Map to the georectangle but I also want a margin (in pixels) a the bottom of the window for overlays, so that the locations are never hidden behind the overlays. How can I do this?

Responsive CheckBox JAVAFX

This is my first javaFX project. The project I'm working on includes a feature where the application window can be resized. Upon resizing the window, I expect all objects in my window to increase proportionally according to the window resize. I am not getting this to work with the "CheckBox" Objects.
As you can see below highlighted in red, a CheckBox object is shown before and after a window resize. Before the resize the red checkbox nicely fits in the green box, but after the resize, the red checkbox is the correct (scaled) width, but did not increase in height as I'd expect. Where should I begin my effort to make my CheckBox objects more vertically responsive?
Minimized
Maximized
As you can see (IN RED), the CheckBox scales horizontally as I expect, but it doesn't scale vertically to occupy the remaining space!
After a lot more research and helpful responses, I gathered a solution that works.
A "DoubleProperty" object is made, and binded to the width of the container holding my checkboxes. Call this container, "dryLeafGridPane" for example.
DoubleProperty checkboxFontSize = new SimpleDoubleProperty(10);
checkboxFontSize.bind((dryLeafGridPane.widthProperty().divide(36)));
The .divide(36) scales the CheckBox's font size to 1/36 the gridpane's width.
Finally, I just add the new font size using CSS.
dryLeafGridPane.styleProperty().bind(Bindings.concat("-fx-font-size: ", checkboxFontSize.asString()));
Here is a gif of the (slightly more) responsive app!
You can choose to increase the font size on the root pane when you go full screen. For example:
rootPane.setStyle("-fx-font-size: 150%;");
That isn't perfect though... it seems the size of the box that is checked doesn't scale with the font.

BitmapData with Scale9Grid

I have a Skin for SkinnableContainer.
Skin contains only the original contentGroup and s:BitmapImage as background.
Background image stretchers out according to width and height content.
The used image is .png with transparent regions.
To create hitarea, I used this algorithm:
http://www.webverwirklichung.com/en/blog/programming/flex/creating-hitarea-png-image-transparent-alpha-regions-flex
Everything's working fine until I start to stretch the SkinnableContainer (along with the image in the skin).
I have a scale9Grid for the image.
The problem is, that when stretching the image, the bitmapData of the image is still the same (same width and height). Therefore I need to somehow obtain the bitmapData of the image for the scale9Grid application.
The background of the component is an image, which has some transparent areas. It is only possible to click on the visible part of the image. The image will stretch according to the content in contentGroup.
Need an advice, please.
How about using the BitmapData.draw() method?
After the container is resized and the 9 slice scaling has been applied (or whatever the appropriate trigger is) do:
var b:BitmapData = new BitmapData(container.width, container.height);
b.draw(container);
Then use this new bitmap with the algorithm that creates the hit area.

Resize Flex TileList height according to Number of rows

I have a canvas which display some images in grid view (Like google images search result page) to bring such Output I used TileList with each tile width/height are hard coded to (15/125).height and width of the TileList component is 100% , everything works perfect on all resolution Am able to see increase/decrease in row/column count as per the screen resolution.
I want to put the TileList component to HBox with some Wid/Heig and i want the scroll for HBox rather than to the TileList.Since the TileList is extension of List component so all the viewable items on the TileList are swapped according to how much we are scrolling , now i have a hard time in increasing the height of the TileList component according to the content so that I can scroll my parent container.
Any help is appreciated,Thanks!

drag and drop in Canvas

I'm doing an application in flex where I draw different sprites inside a canvas. Depending of the dimensions, scrollbars can be appear. I would like to move the "image" with the movement of the mouse as you can see at the Adobe Reader when you are reading a document with zoom (hand mouse icon). In this way, you dont have to touch the scrollbar.
I'm start trying with drag and drop properties of the canvas, setting the position of the scrollbar according with the movement of the mouse but that is not as I expect.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Recipe:
Listen for the mouseMove (MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE) event on the canvas
In event listener, examine event.localX, event.localY
Based on those values and the canvas's width and height, set the canvas's horizontalScrollPosition and verticalScrollPosition accordingly
Hope this helps.
What you can do is, change the position of the scrollbar , when the mouse reaches the last 20 pixels on the left or the right, or the top and bottom.
What you would really need to do is, have a mouseMove listener on the whole application, and when the mouse is within the end ranges of any of the sides, you can use the scroll.scrollTo function to move the scrollbars.
