how to add additional name-value pair in an existing flex object - apache-flex

folks,
I have a question regarding adding additional name-value pairs to my existing object in Flex;
I have an object1 of Object Type
and I declare a new object2 = object1 plus some extra name-value pairs,
is there a way to attach new name-value pairs to an existing object?
Many thanks,

If I understand your question correctly, object2 is a reference pointer to object1; therefore, changes to object2 affect object1:
package
{
import flash.display.Sprite;
public class X extends Sprite
{
public function X()
{
var object1:Object = {a: "1", b: "2"};
var object2:Object = object1;
object2.c = 3;
trace("Object 2:");
for (var name:String in object2)
{
trace("Name: " + name + " = " + object2[name]);
}
trace("Object 1:");
for (var name:String in object1)
{
trace("Name: " + name + " = " + object1[name]);
}
}
}
}
...which outputs:
Object 2:
Name: a = 1
Name: c = 3
Name: b = 2
Object 1:
Name: a = 1
Name: c = 3
Name: b = 2
If you are asking whether an object or dynamic class may be cloned, you could use a function like this:
public function cloneObject(object:Object):Object
{
var newObject:Object = {};
for (var name:String in object)
{
newObject[name] = object[name];
}
return newObject;
}

terraform nested dynamic block with nested map

I'm trying to get tf 0.12.x new dynamic feature to work with a nested map, config is below.
As you can see below (simplified for this) I'm defining all the variables and adding variable required_resource_access which contains a map.
I was hoping to use new dynamic feature to create read this map in a nested dyanmic block.
variable prefix {
description = "Prefix to applied to all top level resources"
default = "abx"
}
variable suffix {
description = "Suffix to applied to all valid top level resources, usually this is 2 letter region code such as we (westeurope), ne (northeurope)."
default = "we"
}
variable env {
description = "3 letter environment code appied to all top level resources"
default = "dev"
}
variable location {
description = "Where to create all resources in Azure"
default = "westeurope"
}
variable available_to_other_tenants {
default = false
}
variable oauth2_allow_implicit_flow {
default = true
}
variable public_client {
default = false
}
# other option is native
variable application_type {
default = "webapp/api"
}
variable required_resource_access {
type = list(object({
resource_app_id = string
resource_access = object({
id = string
type = string
})
}))
default = [{
resource_app_id = "00000003-0000-0000-c000-000000000000"
resource_access = {
id = "7ab1d382-f21e-4acd-a863-ba3e13f7da61"
type = "Role"
}
}]
}
variable reply_urls {
default = []
}
variable group_membership_claims {
default = "All"
}
resource "azuread_application" "bootstrap" {
name = "${var.prefix}-${var.env}-spn"
homepage = "http://${var.prefix}-${var.env}-spn"
identifier_uris = ["http://${var.prefix}-${var.env}-spn"]
reply_urls = var.reply_urls
available_to_other_tenants = var.available_to_other_tenants
oauth2_allow_implicit_flow = var.oauth2_allow_implicit_flow
type = var.application_type
group_membership_claims = var.group_membership_claims
dynamic "required_resource_access" {
for_each = var.required_resource_access
content {
resource_app_id = required_resource_access.value["resource_app_id"]
dynamic "resource_access" {
for_each = required_resource_access.value["resource_access"]
content {
id = resource_access.value["id"]
type = resource_access.value["type"]
}
}
}
}
}
But for reasons beyond my knowledge it keeps giving me this error (notice it's priting it twice as well), I've tried a few other options but this is the closest I managed to get where it would at least give me a meaningful error.

Spent the best part of 2 days on this with no luck so any help or pointers would be much appreciated!
I had some time to test my comment...
If I change the resource_access to a list it works.
See code below:
variable required_resource_access {
type = list(object({
resource_app_id = string
resource_access = list(object({
id = string
type = string
}))
}))
default = [{
resource_app_id = "00000003-0000-0000-c000-000000000000"
resource_access = [{
id = "7ab1d382-f21e-4acd-a863-ba3e13f7da61"
type = "Role"
}]
}]
}
resource "azuread_application" "bootstrap" {
name = "test"
type = "webapp/api"
group_membership_claims = "All"
dynamic "required_resource_access" {
for_each = var.required_resource_access
content {
resource_app_id = required_resource_access.value["resource_app_id"]
dynamic "resource_access" {
for_each = required_resource_access.value["resource_access"]
content {
id = resource_access.value["id"]
type = resource_access.value["type"]
}
}
}
}
}
And the plan shows:
Terraform will perform the following actions:
# azuread_application.bootstrap will be created
+ resource "azuread_application" "bootstrap" {
+ application_id = (known after apply)
+ available_to_other_tenants = false
+ group_membership_claims = "All"
+ homepage = (known after apply)
+ id = (known after apply)
+ identifier_uris = (known after apply)
+ name = "test"
+ oauth2_allow_implicit_flow = true
+ object_id = (known after apply)
+ owners = (known after apply)
+ public_client = (known after apply)
+ reply_urls = (known after apply)
+ type = "webapp/api"
+ oauth2_permissions {
+ admin_consent_description = (known after apply)
...
}
+ required_resource_access {
+ resource_app_id = "00000003-0000-0000-c000-000000000000"
+ resource_access {
+ id = "7ab1d382-f21e-4acd-a863-ba3e13f7da61"
+ type = "Role"
}
}
}
Plan: 1 to add, 0 to change, 0 to destroy.
I removed a lot of your variables an some of the optional Arguments for azuread_application to keep the code as small as possible, but the same principle applies to your code, use lists on for_each or it will loop on the object properties.

Join two dynamic Linq in Asp.net

I have used linq to store data, below is the code:
var result = (dynamic)null;
var serviceData = (dynamic)null;
var userData = (dynamic)null;
/****Linq 1*****/
serviceData= dtPasscode.AsEnumerable().Select(m => new
{
ACCOUNT_ID = intAccountId,
SUB_ACC_ID = m.Field<string>("ACCOUNT_ID_ALIAS")
});
/**Linq 2**/
userData = DisplyCustomerDetails(Convert.ToInt64(strSubAccountID));
result = serviceData.Concat(userData);
And another linq through function:
/**Function**/
System.Data.EnumerableRowCollection DisplyCustomerDetails(Int64 intAccountId)
{
var result = (dynamic)null;
/** Data Display if no service avaiable **/
IAccount_BL objAccount_BL = new Account_BL();
Customer objCustomer = new Customer();
DataTable dtCustomer = null;
int intErrorCount = 0;
objCustomer.Account_Id = Convert.ToInt64(intAccountId);
dtCustomer = objAccount_BL.GetCustomerDetails(objCustomer, ref intErrorCount);
objAccount_BL = null;
objCustomer = null;
if (intErrorCount == 0)
{
if (dtCustomer != null)
{
if (dtCustomer.Rows.Count > 0)
{
result = dtCustomer.AsEnumerable().Select(m => new
{
ACCOUNT_ID = intAccountId,
SUB_ACC_ID = m.Field<string>("ACCOUNT_ID_ALIAS")
});
}
}
}
return result;
}
I wanted to join both the result of Linq1 & Linq2, I tired Concat & Union, getting below error
'System.Data.EnumerableRowCollection<<>f__AnonymousTypea>' does not contain a definition for 'Concat'
To Concat both enumerables must of the same class; you cannot use anonymous classes. Define a class that has the two fields and change the code to Select them.
Also, don't use ... = (dynamic) null; just assign the variable directly
var serviceData= dtPasscode ...
var userData = DisplyCustomerDetails ...
var result = serviceData.Concat(userData);

iOS- swift 3- Nested sorting and union with flatmap, map, filter or formUnion

class Flight{
var name:String?
var vocabulary:Vocabulary?
}
class Vocabulary{
var seatMapPlan:[Plan] = []
var foodPlan:[Plan] = []
}
class Plan{
var planName:String?
var planId:String?
}
var flightList:[Flight] = []
var plan1 = Plan()
plan1.planId = "planId1"
plan1.planName = "Planname1"
var plan2 = Plan()
plan2.planId = "planId2"
plan2.planName = "Planname2"
var plan3 = Plan()
plan3.planId = "planId3"
plan3.planName = "Planname3"
var plan4 = Plan()
plan4.planId = "planId4"
plan4.planName = "Planname4"
var plan5 = Plan()
plan5.planId = "planId5"
plan5.planName = "Planname5"
var plan6 = Plan()
plan6.planId = "planId6"
plan6.planName = "Planname6"
var flight1 = Flight()
flight1.name = "Flight1"
flight1.vocabulary = Vocabulary()
flight1.vocabulary?.seatMapPlan = [plan1, plan2]
flight1.vocabulary?.foodPlan = [plan3, plan4, plan5]
var flight2 = Flight()
flight2.name = "Flight2"
flight2.vocabulary = Vocabulary()
flight2.vocabulary?.seatMapPlan = [plan2, plan3]
flight2.vocabulary?.foodPlan = [plan3, plan4, plan5]
flightList=[flight1, flight2]
Problem 1:
I want to use flatmap,filter,custom unique func or Sets.formUnion to achieve a union of seatMapPlans. For this particular example it is
seatMapUnion = [plan1,plan2,plan3]
Because of nesting with the help of answered questions I am unable to achieve this.
Please give me a combination of filter,flatMap and map for resolving this particular problem.
Problem 2:
I have vice-versa scenarios too were i have to sort this array flightList on basis of plan(plan1 or multiple) selected. I want to sort this on basis of filter and map, but the nesting is making it difficult to achieve.
e.g. 1:
if the search parameter is plan1 for seatMapPlan. Then the result is flight1.
e.g. 2:
And if the search parameter is plan2 for seatMapPlan. Then the result is flight1,flight2.
For the first problem I would use sets. So first make Plan implement Hashable :
class Plan : Hashable {
var planName:String?
var planId:String?
public var hashValue: Int { return planName?.hashValue ?? 0 }
public static func ==(lhs: Plan, rhs: Plan) -> Bool { return lhs.planId == rhs.planId }
}
Then it's straightforward :
let set1 = Set<Plan>(flight1.vocabulary!.seatMapPlan)
let set2 = Set<Plan>(flight2.vocabulary!.seatMapPlan)
let union = set1.union(set2)
print(union.map { $0.planName! } )
It'll print:
["Planname2", "Planname1", "Planname3"]
Not sure I understand your second problem.

asp:calendar binds last value to date from database

I have to bind an <asp:calendar> with data fetched from a database using a linq query.
Here is the linq code
public List<AllCalander> SearchCalender(int month, int zip, string type, int cause)
{
var xyz = (from m in DB.Calenders
where(m.DateFrom.Value.Month==month || m.Zip==zip || m.ActivityType==type || m.CauseID==cause)
group m by new { m.DateFrom } into grp
select new
{
caustitle = grp.Select(x => x.Caus.CauseTitle),
datfrm = grp.Key.DateFrom,
total = grp.Count()
})
.ToList()
.Select(m => new AllCalander
{
DateFrom =Convert.ToDateTime(m.datfrm),
CauseTitle = string.Join(",", m.caustitle),
Total = m.total
});
My aspx.cs code is here
List<AllCalander> calnder = calbll.SearchCalender(mnth,ZipString,type,causeString);
foreach (var myItem in calnder)
{
string datetime = myItem.DateFrom.ToString();
Literal myEventNameLiteral = new Literal();
myEventNameLiteral.ID = i + myItem.CauseID.ToString();
// string currentcalanderDate = e.Day.Date.Day.ToString() ;
if (string.Equals(DateTime.Parse(datetime).ToString("MMM dd yyyy"), e.Day.Date.ToString("MMM dd yyyy")))
{
string a = myItem.CauseTitle;
if (a != cause)
cause = a;
coun++;
myEventNameLiteral.Mode = LiteralMode.PassThrough;
myEventNameLiteral.Text = "<br /><span style='font-family:verdana; font-size:10px;'>" + myItem.CauseTitle + "(" + myItem.Total + ")"+ " ";
e.Cell.Controls.Add(myEventNameLiteral);
}
i++;
}
but on output it only shows the last value from database instead of showing all the data.
Can somebody please tell me what's wrong?
Thanks in advance
group m by new { m.DateFrom, m.Caus.CauseTitle } into grp

queries in entity framework

i have written the following query and it is giving error Unable to cast object of type
System.Data.Objects.ObjectQuery'[ITClassifieds.Models.Viewsearch]' to type 'ITClassifieds.Models.Viewsearch'.
my code is as follows
if (zipcode.Contains(","))//opening of zipcode conatins comma
{
do
{
zipcode = zipcode.Replace(" ", " ");
zipcode = zipcode.Replace(", ", ",");
} while (zipcodecity.Contains(" "));
char[] separator = new char[] { ',' };
string[] temparray = zipcode.Split(separator);
var zipcd = (from u in db.ZipCodes1
where u.CityName == temparray[0] && u.StateAbbr == temparray[1] && u.CityType == "D"
select new Viewsearch
{
Zipcode = u.ZIPCode
}).Distinct();
Viewsearch vs = (Viewsearch)zipcd;
if (zipcd.Count() > 0)
{
zipcode = vs.Zipcode;
locations = "";
}
else
{
tempStr = "";
zipcode = "";
}
}
You need to do
If it will always exist:
Viewsearch vs = zipcd.First()
If not use, and then check for null before using
Viewsearch vs = zipcd.FirstOrDefault()
You could also use Single if there will always be 1 or None.
The Distinct method returns an enumerable collection (in your case, and ObjectQuery<T>, which may contain more than one element. You can't typecast that directly to an item in the collection, you need to use one of the IEnumerable methods to get it:
Viewsearch vs = zipcd.SingleOrDefault();
if ( vs != null )
{
zipcode = vs.Zipcode;
locations = String.Empty;
}
else
{
zipcode = String.Empty;
tempStr = String.Empty;
}
SingleOrDefault will throw an exception if there is more than one item in the collection; if that's a problem, you can also use FirstOrDefault to grab the first item, as one example.
Also, unrelated to your question, but you don't need the temporary array variable for your string separators. The parameter to the Split method is a params array so you can just call it like this:
string[] temparray = zipcode.Split(',');
Replace the zipcd query with:
var cityName = temparray[0];
var stateAbbr = temparray[1];
Viewsearch vs = new Viewsearch {
Zipcode = db.ZipCodes1.Where(u.CityName == cityName && u.StateAbbr == stateAbbr && u.CityType == "D").First().ZIPCode
};
