I am trying to get phpUnit running on a centos running plesk pannel.
I have installed phpunit successfully.
Package Version State
File_Iterator 1.3.1 stable
PHPUnit 3.6.10 stable
PHPUnit_MockObject 1.1.1 stable
PHP_CodeCoverage 1.1.2 stable
PHP_Invoker 1.1.0 stable
PHP_Timer 1.0.2 stable
PHP_TokenStream 1.1.3 stable
Text_Template 1.1.1 stable
however whenever i run the phpunit command from the shell i get the following error:
PHP Warning: require_once(File/Iterator/Autoload.php): failed to open
stream: No such file or directory in
/usr/share/pear/PHPUnit/Autoload.php on line 45
PHP Fatal error:
require_once(): Failed opening required 'File/Iterator/Autoload.php'
(include_path='.:') in /usr/share/pear/PHPUnit/Autoload.php on line 45
Has anyone a clue how to solve the problem?
I tried a billion different articles and the commands that finally fixed this issue for me were the following:
sudo pear channel-discover pear.phpunit.de
sudo pear install --alldeps --force phpunit/phpunit
Then, when I ran phpunit, I didn't get the errors and it ran successfully.
I'm not sure how this translates for plesk, but the problem is the include_path specified in your php.ini file is set to just the current directory. Verify where your php.ini file is by running the following from the command line...
% php --info
...and look for the following entries...
Configuration File (php.ini) Path => /etc
Loaded Configuration File => /etc/php.ini
In this case, edit /etc/php.ini and look for the for include_path. In my case I need to set it as follows...
include_path = ".:/opt/php-5.3.14/lib/php/pear"
Your include path must include the directory where PEAR installs all those packages. Add /usr/share/pear to your include path in php.ini--probably /etc/php5/cli/php.ini.
On the Ubuntu (10.04) I also added /usr/share/php to the /etc/php5/cli/php.ini.
In Fedora release 19 it has been solved by adding the /usr/share/pear/ path to the include_path of /etc/php.ini

I'm installing Symfony framework following the instructions of https://symfony.com/download using symfony-cli.
When I executed
symfony new my_symfony_app
I get the next Error
no PHP binaries detected
I thought the solution would be to install php by using apt, but after some research I read about php-symfony deb package and I installed it.
apt install php-symfony
Works fine to me and solved the problem.
I've been looking around on other rmagick threads for a good solution. Nothing has worked so far.
I'm working on a rails project on c9 IDE. I managed to successfully install imagemagick via the 'sudo apt get install imagemagick' command.
However when I try to run 'gem install rmagick' I get the following error

Try this (working for rmagick 3.0.0):
brew install imagemagick#6
brew link --force imagemagick#6
gem install rmagick
I use homebrew to install nginx. However, when I start nginx, it prompts:
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libpcre.1.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/nginx
Reason: Incompatible library version: nginx requires version 4.0.0 or later, but libpcre.1.dylib provides version 2.0.0
Trace/BPT trap: 5
Any ideas?
I had this same problem, try running this:
brew unlink pcre && brew link pcre
In my case, this was the output:
Unlinking /usr/local/Cellar/pcre/8.35... 5 symlinks removed
Linking /usr/local/Cellar/pcre/8.35... 133 symlinks created
Well, I don't know what causes the problem. I checked my pcre, and it was in latest version. Without option I just uninstall it and reinstall it again...Then it works...
Only thing that fixed it for me was reinstalling everything in brew.

I run the following and it sorted the issue for me
brew update && brew upgrade && brew rm extempore && brew install extempore
If you get any problem in nginx then you can debug using this command:
nginx -t
after running this command you will get error message including filename and line number where the problem is
I am Trying to install phpunit on my local mac machine, but I got the followings error when I ran the command below:
sudo pear install pear.phpunit.de/PHPUnit
parse error in /private/etc/php.ini on line 786
Check /private/etc/php.ini on line 786. There would be some parsing error.
After solving that, you can refer following blog for PHPUnit installation.

If I install the latest stable 1.2.7 django-haystack with sudo pip install django-haystack, it works fine. But after uninstalling it and installing the very latest dev version 2.0.0 BETA instead as suggested on the main page:
pip install -e git+https://github.com/toastdriven/django-haystack.git#master#egg=django-haystack
Despite the success messages below, it seems like it is not properly installed:
Obtaining django-haystack from git+https://github.com/toastdriven/django-haystack.git#master#egg=django-haystack

I had this problem before, but could never solve it. sudo pip install default works fine, but as long as I get the latest Git version, my django doesn't seem to see it.
What could I be missing?
Many Thanks for your advice,
UPDATE
Apologies, but it seems the error is happening only within Aptana Studio 3.0. In Django Shell I can do the import after all. I am still dazzled, as this should be the same. Why can Aptana see the libraries when installing with sudo pip install django-haystack but not if using latest Git version? What could go wrong there please?

I finally got it working.
As I said the problem is pip install -e git+https://github.com/toastdriven/django-haystack.git#master#egg=django-haystack is apparently not working.
I simply uninstalled it and made sure its deleted.
Then I simply downloaded the source as zip file, extracted it and
python setup.py build
sudo python setup.py install
This way it will guaranteed be working. Hope this helps someone.
